The main floor has new arrivals and tonnes of designer brands from around the globel; Gucci, Chanel, Prada and on and on. Some items cost hundreds of dollars but are a fraction of the regular price and sometimes, hot off the runway. This floor also has a great collection of designer hand bags, shoes and jewellery, the most exclusive of which are always located at the front counter, where you may ask to see them! 2nd Nature really is a gem, I would give the store a perfect 5 except for the staff. They claimed that no one got my messages which I find hard to believe as I was very clear in my messages, leaving my call back number and name, and description of items. Talked with one salesperson and she told me that she would get back to me when they located the items but, they are extremely busy with consignments so it may take some time. I am still waiting. There was a wide range of attractive clothing for sizes 14+ as well as jewelry and other accessories. I should note here that she's not currently stocking shoes but has pretty much everything else you need to kit yourself out. Also, while I was there I saw at least one happy customer make a number of fine purchases. While I understand the idea is that these are pre-owned, I think they need to maybe review the seams a lot closer before hanging up for sale. They don't just take clothes, they also take hand bags, wallets and accessories. You would simply just need to tell them you're looking to sell. You will need to provide your phone number and a piece of photo I.D. They will send you a text once they have gone through the items. Just be mindful that they don't take everything. They can be very picky too. Sometimes I would bring in a bag of clothes and leave with not being able to sell any of it. It really depends on what they need as they had explained to me before they don't want to over stock on stuff they already have or they don't need for the season. So far, I've sold to them 5-6 times and got back about $30-$40 total. It's certainly not a lot of money but to me it's still something. Before I donate the items, I might as well bring them here and give it a shot to see if I could get back a few dollars here and there.

The last time I was here was yesterday for their October 2016 sale. I went on the last day of the October sale, and I found that the selection wasn't as good as from their sales about a year ago. First off, there wasn't much selection for women, and a lot of their merchandise are for guys. Last year, I was able to find a $10 warm hoodie, but now, the cheapest one I could find was $40 and I got the last piece with my right size. My fiance was able to purchase many hoodies, and there was a lot in stock - for guys. This time though, I was impressed by the abundance of Timberland shoes, I was able to purchase a couple of men's boots for my fiance with a good price. I checked my receipt and the calculated average of savings I get is 50%. I would recommend still checking this place out, as this is a big warehouse sale, and they have a lot of different types of clothing to shop for. They have hoodies, sweaters, t-shirts, work-out clothes, work pants, winter boots, safety shoes, winter jackets, golf apparels, even beauty products and jewelery! Everything here is reminiscent of that liminal space between the 80s and 90s. Neon, hiphop, record-scratchy. Actually it's more than a retail shop; it's a man cave. The fashions are casual and fun, and the guys working here are more than OK with it if you just chill out and pump quarters into Terminator 2. Dudesque touches about. A large Canadian flag hangs from the ceiling and unfurls into a makeshift changeroom. There is a boombox on the floor. Kewl place. Obligatory Title Pun: LIV it up at 54! Menu Readability: Their understated signage is more befitting a Detroit barbershop than a hipster curio emporium; I suppose that is the point. They have a handful of partnerships going with companies from New York where Community 54 started. This Toronto location is part of their expansion plan to move into new markets. Perhaps I'm starting to get a little deep for a review but things like this excite and scare me at the same time. If we're all wearing the same things and shopping in the same places then does it really matter where we go or what we do since it's literally the exact same experience everywhere? Wow, totally went off topic there. What else is there to say about this place? Everything is for sale. Everything. The benches, the little things that look like knick knacks, the video games at the front door, everything. Most of the clothing on display is for men so far but they have plans to bring in more stuff as they can. They have the tiniest kids section I've ever seen and I'm pretty sure that won't be an ongoing thing but it was funny to see these tiny little sweaters next to men's over sized jackets. The feel of this place is somewhere between nostalgic 90s hip hop (as seen in the black Bart Simpson dunking a basketball tee shirt) and 70s work wear (think blue collar not disco) with lots of retro sports jackets, tee shirts and baseball caps from Good Wood. I wish I could remember the other brands they were carrying but you'll just have to take a look for yourself. I was told that they will have denim eventually and they want to start selling shoes as well. The rest of the store is dedicated to classic arcade game cabinets. The front of the store houses a Galaga and Terminator 2 among other things. You can play them in the store if you like but they are also for sale. I didn't ask what they were selling for because I don't have space for a cabinet but I'm sure they aren't cheap. Her reply was: 1....thousand...2hundred... [ VERY SLOWLY] I wanted to introduce her face to my palm. But I contained myself. I'm NEVER going back there, I go downtown instead.
