I was given a good price. Then we went an entirely different direction and I had the ring made from scratch in white gold, a beautiful marquee cut saphhire (amazing quality & colour), diamonds around the outside of the stone & then diamonds on either side of the band. While it was not exact, it was better than the original. My breath was taken away when I went to pick it up & seeing it for the first time. The knowledge and recommendations shared, the professionalism, the designer abilities/recommendations and the customer care was a 10 in every aspect. In catching up with an old friend and sharing my experience, I found out that this is the only jeweler she trusts & uses all the time for any of her jewelry needs. They don't greet you, they don't take your items into a fitting room, they don't inquire if you need help in the fitting rooms, and checking out usually takes longer than it should as well. This is not a review from one bad experience, this is the norm for this store. I live very close to this store and I prefer to shop at the Penningtons in Ajax just so I don't have to deal with the staff in Oshawa.

She was patient and kind, offered suggestions and was so attentive. I suggested that we shop here because it would be new to both of us. She was game. There was lots of parking in front of this store. We had no problem finding spots for our vehicles. This Marshalls store is one of the better ones if you have large feet and like footwear. Marshalls has improved its stock of size 11 footwear. It was nice seeing Sketchers, Vans, and more. They were fashionable and a nice change. This store also had Kipling bags. In general, handbags are on the pricier side in this store. The Kipling tote that I saw was going for $70. We also had to shove our eyeballs into our sockets when we saw a Michael Kors handbag for $400. It was ugly for that mortgage payment. I found a pair of Frye & Co. sunglasses that I liked. They were comfortable and in a shade of green that I've never owned. They were cheap in price and of good quality. Mine! If you like the Wet line of hairbrushes, this store has the best limited edition ones that I have ever seen. You can get everything from My Melody to Grogu. I ended up getting the Grogu one because it was the larger size of the two. This brush is my second one from this brand. I liked the quirky, fun earrings by Baublebar. It had everything from punny pencils, to blingy school buses. The watches here were also cool. I liked one with a moonstone look behind the numbers. The women's cap and hat section was fun, too. There were caps that have a larger opening at the back for your ponytail. It even accommodated high ponytails if you like that look without getting headaches. I paid for my items at the shared HomeSense-Marshalls checkout area. I had two items from this store and one from HomeSense. It was nice to hit the checkout once for both stores. I paid with a credit card. The transaction was smooth. The woman that helped me was nice. I thanked her and left with my goods. I'm liking Marshalls more these days. The clothes are sold as uni-sex (so they told me). There were a few camisoles. The staff are very courteous. The stall looks very modern but they haven't received their store signs yet. This is the first time they had a physical store. They used to sell over Instagram including holding live auctions. They are a pop-up for 2 months, after which they have the option of extending and also expanding to a neighbouring stall. The place is wheelchair accessible.
