On occasions when we need a new or temporary PCAs, Grace HHC went extra miles to find and provide us with people who meet my mother's and our family's needs and values. This is a critical element for good healthcare providers. My mother's been with Grace HHC since its opening. Prior to her connection with the company, she has developed Alzheimer's disease and other symptoms, which many people develop as we age. Grace HHC has been finding good senior daycares, worked with her insurance company to provide the right service and hours, and various things to help improve my mom's conditions and provide all her needs, including medical and personal hygiene products. Very pleasant staff at Grace HHC works closely with the family, communicating on a daily bases, as needed. They can do that because Grace HHC is well-staffed with professional nurses and administrators that care about their patients/clients. I highly recommend Grace HHC for anyone and everyone that need special care.

I was extremely anxious about placing her in a rehabilitation facility, especially because she has dementia and does not handle change well. From the very beginning, this facility has gone above and beyond my expectations. Aaron Rebuck was incredibly welcoming and kind when helping get my mom settled into her room. His calm demeanor immediately put me at ease during our first meeting. Our initial interactions with the nursing staff, Thea and Rose, were equally reassuring--they were compassionate, patient, and so gentle with my mom. At that moment, I knew she was going to be in good hands. The dining staff has been wonderful, ensuring my mom receives a well-balanced and nutritious menu. She has actually gained weight during her stay at The Boulevard, which speaks volumes about the care she is receiving. Physical and occupational therapy also went very well and contributed positively to her recovery. The doctors and nursing staff have been terrific throughout her stay. Tigist, the CNA, is truly a huge asset to The Boulevard team. She has provided exceptional care for my mom and is consistently kind, attentive, and compassionate--not just to my mom, but to all the residents. Milly is another outstanding team member; she is responsible, attentive, and wonderful with my mom. When my mom returns to her memory care facility, I will truly miss the staff at The Boulevard (Willow). We would absolutely return here if she ever needs rehabilitation care again. I highly recommend The Boulevard Post Acute for anyone in need of quality rehabilitation services.

DISCLAIMER: My apologies in advance for this lengthy review. I wanted to document the horrible…read morecustomer service my wife and I experienced from the INOVA FAIRFAX HOSPITAL NICU during a 3.5 month span. The best part of this review is that my wife and I gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Due to her being a preemie, she stayed in the hospital for an extended period where we experienced first hand the broken healthcare system and instances of malpractice within the NICU. Regarding the care of our daughter, it was a frustrating experience from the beginning! There was a great communication barrier between us and the hospital staff, to include front desk personnel, nurses, doctors, supervisors and upper level hospital management. To make a long story short, this hospital failed us, often picking and choosing what protocols they should follow, and not providing key information to us that they promised to deliver. In our initial complaint, we spoke to the supervisor to explain the discrepancy in communication, and all they could do is apologize, and attempted to justify the behavior of their staff. There is also a disparity in the amount of minority (African American) nurses at the unit. The few black nurses that provided care for our daughter expressed concerns with how the unit was being handled. Specifically, one of our daughter's nurses explained her reasoning to transition from full-time to part-time due to her inability to do what she studied and practiced for years regarding taking care of babies. Instead, she explained that at INOVA Fairfax, the nurses are simply tasked with following the doctor's orders even if it is contrary to what the child needs. Although the nurses are the primary care-givers for the children, their feedback is not really valued and that presents a major disservice to the families. In addition, we noticed a big disservice that the nurses were providing. Many nurses were on their phones, reading books and having leisure conversations outside of the infants rooms while alerts were going off that required immediate attention for their assigned babies. There was also a clear incompetence displayed by the night-time staff and nurses compared to the dayshift. Calling at night-time for updates was a nuisance due to the ignorant staff saying that they did not know the answers to basic questions. We would often be advised to just check with the day shift. Doctors and nurses alike agreed that the night-time staff doesn't really know anything and verified that the care at night is often not up to par! Therefore, the night-time staff doesn't really do anything to advance the child. There is also a disparity in the amount of minority (African-American) nurses at the unit. Although the nurses are the primary care-givers for the children, their feedback is not really valued and that presents a major disservice to the families. As it relates to the doctors, it was frustrating due to the many doctors we would see on a week to week basis, all had differing opinions regarding our daughter's care. In most instances, it seemed as if no action was their best course of action instituted. As a result, every milestone that our daughter accomplished was initiated by us. With such a slow trajectory regarding our daughter's care, it inspired us to look into how her development could be expedited to get her home as quickly and safely as possible. Every suggestion that we made was implemented, and our daughter never had to go backwards. That presents a major quandary on behalf of the hospital because the doctor's get paid to make the decisions. Consequently, in this case, we were proposing all the decisions, and they would just say, "ok, then, let's try it." There is plenty more that transpired, but due to limitations I cannot share. However, if you are a minority and are having a baby, you may want to reconsider contrary to INOVA Fairfax.

I rarely write reviews, but my experience with Fairfax Vascular Center has been so consistently…read morefrustrating and unprofessional that I feel obligated to warn others. For the past several months , we have been actively trying to move forward with a necessary treatment. What should have been a straightforward process has turned into a drawn-out, exhausting ordeal marked by incompetence, poor communication, and a complete lack of accountability. To start, they lost our medical records (a fundamental failure for any healthcare provider). This alone caused delays, but it was only the beginning. When attempting to resolve the issue, I was met with rude and dismissive behavior from reception staff, including being yelled at and, on multiple occasions, given information that later proved to be outright false. It is deeply concerning to be treated this way when advocating for necessary medical care. The internal coordination appears equally broken. At one point, the doctor failed to submit his notes , further delaying treatment with no proactive follow-up or acknowledgment. Meanwhile, I have been repeatedly promised callbacks that never happen . Each time I follow up, I am met with excuses or forced to restart the explanation of our situation from scratch. I have escalated this issue multiple times to supervisors, yet nothing meaningfully changes. The pattern remains the same: poor communication, missed responsibilities, and zero ownership of mistakes. At this stage, I am left with no confidence in this organization's ability to provide safe or reliable care. My next steps will be to formally escalate this beyond the practice: * Filing a complaint with Inova Schar , as their association with Fairfax Vascular Center reflects poorly on their reputation and standards of care * Submitting formal complaints to the Virginia Board of Medicine , which oversees physician conduct and professional standards * Reporting the administrative and patient care failures to the Virginia Department of Health Professions, which regulates healthcare facilities and licensing * Considering a complaint with the Joint Commission , which accredits healthcare organizations and investigates quality-of-care concerns Patients deserve competent, respectful, and responsive care--especially when dealing with serious medical conditions. Unfortunately, Fairfax Vascular Center has demonstrated the opposite at nearly every step. I strongly urge others to think carefully before entrusting them with your care. Note: I have escalated this within their office and have only been lectured how they are not responsible for any of the failures. So, when you see them respond on Yelp with a response that says "we are so sorry; please do call us" please do know that this is completely their marketing hype. They don't care and guess what? I do - no way will I let this go.

I wanted a DIEP Flap and my surgical oncologist at Johns Hopkins said he was the best of the best. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with breast cancer again a couple of weeks later during the final checks to clear me for surgery. Dr. Albino went above and beyond to ensure my comfort during treatment by removing my old implants and replacing them with new, smaller ones on my request followed by a DIEP Flap about a year later after I fully recovered. All I can say is that my quality of life changed exponentially. I have the most amazing, natural and soft breasts again! I look and feel amazing. I'm comfortable in my own body. That's a testament to a truly gifted surgeon who listens to and empathizes with his patients to ensure their happiness with the ultimate outcome. His skill is only exceeded by his compassion for his patients. He treated a dear friend of mine who lost her cancer battle. He made arrangements to see her outside of normal office hours to reduce her risk of getting exposed to COVID. When she passed, he and his staff mourned her loss with her family and friends. I'd like to start by saying Sam Robinson on YouTube recommended this doctor so I've waited for this surgery for ten plus years and I feel like she should also be held accountable for recommending a surgeon to young impressionable girls on YouTube. I saved up 10.6 thousand dollars because I thought you get what you pay for let's spend the most money for a boob job and I'll get the best one when other surgeons do it for under five grand. Scheduling was bad. Plans always changed and they kept telling me I needed clearances and then I didn't and then I did oops then I didn't. It was stressful. Day of surgery dr bitar completely treated my partner like he was invisible to the point my partner didn't come to post op appointments with me. Two weeks post op I knew I was botched I'm not even joking. Matter of fact I knew something was wrong when I got off the table and had no cleavage right upon waking up after surgery. They took the tape off at two weeks and i knew my surgery was botched. It shifted right to my armpit. I couldn't put my arm down. I have shooting nerve pain all around my side and back and couldn't sleep for months. My boobs are flat and go to my side when I lay down. It doesn't even look like I have a boob job how malpositioned he placed them. He kept gaslighting me saying it's just swelling it will go down , then it was oh it's how my chest is shaped and that's naturally where they sit , then I kept bugging because I'm in pain and can't workout without a tit being in my armpit and he said I have to wait a year to get a revision that he would also be charging me for another cost when he botched me. On top of almost eleven thousand dollars. He also had the nerve to say how he does thousands of surgeries and he never has complaints and he was getting snappy saying that I'm unhappy and he is the best surgeon. Like drop the ego you botched a young girl and don't want to take responsibility. Embarrassing. Everyday people ask me why I paid for this and say how far apart they are and how this is not normal. Other surgeons questioned if he was even board certified or even a real doctor at all they were so horrified. The scars are so deep and keloided when he insisted on going through my armpit because he'd leave no scar. Then told me to revise them he'd make a new cut under the breast. No thanks you already have me looking like a Texas chainsaw victim. Three or four other surgeons told me to write a review and not to let this go because dr bitar made the pocket too large and didn't take any accountability and has no pride in his work to fix his error in a timely manor free of charge. all other doctors said they'd be embarrassed to charge for a revision if they did this. I thankfully am not hurting for money and can afford to go elsewhere to fix what he did to me but please I am begging you if you have to save your money and a surgery is something you really want and don't want to have to revise it or spend any extra when it's done poorly , please find another surgeon and stay far away from this botch job of a clown who calls himself a good surgeon. Look at what he did to me and imagine the pain and nerve damage I feel
