One of their reps, Marcus, contacted me. We had a great call where I outlined all my needs. And for…read morea shorter (800-mile) move of 350 cubic feet of belongings in an apartment 24 steps from street to stairs, with pickup by a reputable carrier (4.37 on BBB), he quoted me $1775. I asked him to send a binding estimate and to let me know the different cost levels in addition for Full Value Protection. Over the course of several days, he continued to respond but without giving me anything in writing. I also received a series of generic reminder emails. When I responded via text, my texts suddenly began to bounce as undeliverable. When I tried to pin him down for a quote, he said it would be $2,500 for a binding estimate. I asked why the huge sudden bump, and he said, "because of all your requirements." I told him nothing had changed from our call except me asking for his verbal promise in writing. I have yet to hear back, but my assumption is he would have done a non-binding estimate for $1,775 and then have a million surprise charges upon pickup and delivery, sending me way over that. Bottom line: Untrustworthy as they come!

Stay far away from this company. Just read the other reviews…read more I booked them and then cancelled before my scheduled move due to the horrific reviews. I specifically asked my representative on the phone when I booked if I am able to cancel for a full refund and he said that they would absolutely refund me if they didn't do the move. In the cancelling back and forth emails, they informed me that they record all phone calls. But when I brought up the promise that my rep made, they went radio silent. I told them to send me the call recording and I would find it on there if they didn't want to, but they said their policy is to keep the recordings for themselves and not release them to customers. So they kept my deposit in full for absolutely no service rendered. I'm out over $2,500. In the cancellation process, they were very aggressive and tried to get back on the phone and off email at every opportunity. They told us that they would still be sending the movers to come and facilitate the move even after 4-5 emails back and forth, which was just extremely annoying. The general experience we had is very inline with what you've already read online. They are not honest, hard pushing sales people who are just trying to make a quick buck. They will say whatever they need to on the phone to get you to sign the docs, because they know they control the call recording and don't have to release the recording if it would hold them accountable for any promises made. My recommendation, do business with an actual moving company and not a dishonest moving broker with a customer service nightmare track record.
