In my case, I was about to take my car on a very long trip through multiple states (towards CA) and driving through the record-breaking sumner temps over the summer in West TX, NM, and AZ; they took that very seriously as they inspected my car with my trip in mind, looking for potential heat-related hazards or potential issues on my older car. The trip was great and I experienced no problems in my vehicle that has 180,000 miles on it throughout a brutal drive/trip that lasted six weeks in total--thanks to the preemptive eyes of the mechanics at Galaxy! I originally brought the car in with the new alternator, but they insisted the alternator was not the problem. Instead, they replaced other parts, including brake-related work and additional repairs, and repeatedly told me the car was fixed. Twice, we picked up the car only for it to break down within about half a mile, requiring it to be towed back. Despite all the repairs they performed, the original problem was never resolved. During my last visit, I was yelled at and told that because I was a woman, I didn't know anything about cars. That was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. They also claimed they had done some work for free, but none of it fixed the actual issue. I eventually had the alternator replaced elsewhere, and that was the only repair the car needed.
