I really like a massage therapist to get in there and work those knots out, and unfortunately, both times I left Mystic Hands with the exact same aches & knots. At the beginning of my first massage, Aimee let me know that she had thrown out her own back and wasn't feeling well. I chalked up the lack of pressure to this, and gave her services a second chance. Unfortunately, I had the same exact experience the second time. If what you're seeking is relaxation and a very light touch, then Aimee is perfect for you. My friend who gifted me the massage told me that she was sure Maria could help and she was so right! Booking my appointment was easy. I visited Maria at her Solano Ave location which was lovely, with ample street parking available. She started with a thorough chat about what I was looking for from the massage, what I wanted worked on and if there was anywhere I didn't want to be touched which I really appreciated. It was honestly some of the best bodywork I've ever had. Maria has an absolutely wonderful touch and energy. Her massage work has a beautiful flowing quality that I found quite wonderfully hypnotic. By the end of the 90 minutes I was pretty much putty. I haven't been that relaxed in years, maybe ever. It quite literally felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders!
