We made reservations for Valentine's Day. It's in a busy area with street parking but they offered valet which is very handy. The restaurant itself is very beautiful. Masculine but comfortable. They have a good seating area in the front to wait for your table. Also bar seating. Typical rodizio style with a bar of food that you self serve along with table side carving of meats. The buffet had a large amount of sides including salads , some meats, beans, rice and more. Ample choices. After seated with our plates the meats started coming. Unlike some places where you are waiting for someone to come by this place brought cut after cut for us to try. From steaks to short ribs, chicken thighs to cheese with guava even steak with cheese sauce. It was delightful. Of course finished with some amazing grilled pineapple. The service was amazing. Our waiter was quick and kept our drinks full. A little pricier than some other Brazilian places but very much worth it for quality, selection and speed of service. I've eaten here twice and have been impressed with the food and service. Great people and a much needed addition to Worcester's growing food scene. They have an excellent salad bar along with some hot side dish offerings and then they start to come around with a wide assortment of meats. The picanha is especially delicious. It is a bit expensive but when compared With Ruth's Chris or the 111 Chop House it's a bargain and while a different experience it's equal to both in my eyes. A must try. read more

Ok Brazilian place with rodizio menu. I wished they would have been more active about bringing options to the table rather than me trying to flag down the staff. There were long periods where we just waited with the placard indicating we wanted more choices only to be ignored. I found the food a bit more salty than I prefer but that may just be me. Absolutely stand out Brazilian BBQ place. Service is quality was well above and beyond, even made sure to send our preferred meat cuts to the table. The sides and salad bar also had some incredibly strong offerings and some of the best steak cuts available of anyplace I've been too. (Included the tomahawk). I was taken here for a birthday lunch by my close friends. The food, service and atmosphere was amazing. We all had the "experience" and it was worth it. The salad bar had so many choices including pastas and rice. I had the Alma Moscow Mule and it was great Use off street parking or valet if offered because we parked in the parking lot to the right of the restaurant and paid by plate but we didn't notice it was a permit parking lot. I recently dined at Alma Gaúcha, and unfortunately, the experience fell far short of the expectations set by a traditional rodízio-style steakhouse. The fundamental concept of this dining experience is that you pay a fixed premium price for an all-inclusive selection of meats continuously brought to your table. However, our experience felt like a complete hoax. Throughout the night, the servers consistently bypassed our table in a highly selective manner. They would approach, serve a few of my guests, and then purposely ignore myself and another guest at the exact same table before walking away. Despite paying the exact same per-person rate as everyone else, we were actively denied the full dining experience. When you pay a premium for an all-you-can-eat model, you expect equal and attentive service for every single person at the table. To be repeatedly skipped while watching others get served is unacceptable. Between the inconsistent service and the failure to deliver on what was promised financially, I cannot recommend this establishment. The service was amazing. The buffet us "whole experience " was great for the kids who can consume more than the adults! They got to sample many types of meat. There was a "smaller" lunch portion which allowed all-you-can eat of one type of meat (we picked sirloin) along with the cold buffet. The service is amazing, they pull your chair out for you, they take your coats and hang them for you, and the serve you like a king or queen. The food is so good, they serve you more food on top of the buffet, such as brown rice, mash potatoes, plantains, and cheese bread. read more

Exceptional Service That Saved Our Father's Day! I cannot say enough good things about the management and staff at Alma Gaúcha. We had been looking forward to celebrating Father's Day here for weeks, and I thought I had secured a reservation two weeks in advance. However, when we arrived at 5:45 PM on June 21st, the hostess checked us in and I quickly realized I had accidentally booked the wrong restaurant. Disappointed in my mistake, my party and I decided we would just head home and come back the following evening instead. As we were about to leave, the restaurant manager stopped us. He completely blew us away by saying, "Not to worry. I will have a table for you all in 10 minutes. Please, you are here. Don't go, stay and celebrate with us." True to his word, we were seated in minutes. The manager turned what could have been a ruined holiday into an absolutely amazing experience. On top of the legendary customer service, the food and atmosphere were fantastic. They truly understand hospitality here, and we will definitely be loyal customers for a long time to come! read more

Great ambiance and world class service. Delicious and high quality cuts of beef, lamb and pork belly. The salad bar had a ton options that compliment the proteins well.
