Coming to Boucherville, staying at a nearby hotel. In walking distance decided to tryout this place that looked great from the outside !!

Enjoyed my brunch here with friends, we found the breakfast interesting with new ideas to a traditional breakfast. The taste fresh with many options, almost wanted to try everything on the menu. The cup of latte was huge, don't even need that much but it was worth to try. I had one of many choice of eggs benefit as that's my fav, and it didn't disappoint one bit. Nice clean, chic modern restaurant, with a nice vibe for breakfast or brunch. One of a few good places in the small area of that part of Montreal/Boucherville. I'm sure the best breakfast place for miles there!!!!

The place is huge as it can seat well over 60 I didn't count but they really were quiet the evening I paid a visit. I have only been to LBP one other time before and it was a location not far from the University metro station by the Sandman Hotel also in Longueuil right across the bridge from La Rond. That place was tiny and had maybe 6 parking spots. This one had a counter and menu that looked to be over 50 feet long! They had so many choices from spaghetti, burgers, steamies, subs, but I went back to an old standard which is a smoked meat sandwich and I upgraded the fries in the #5 combo to a poutine for another 3.50. Their food is decent and their poutine is true not only because we're in Quebec but the squeak if you know what I'm talking about is there. This is Quebec and some things have to be right. There was a sign saying they served breakfast till 11am on weekdays and till 1pm on weekends. I could see this place being busy but for whatever reason the time I went (430pm on a Monday) it was dead quiet but the food was served fast and the staff were quite happy to serve. When in Rome how can you go wrong with the native food?

I couldn't finish the Egg on Your Face, so I had the rest for lunch (it was almost as good cold!). But it was DELICIOUS. Everything was really tasty and the croissants are so flaky. Service is fast - but you can tell some of the items are freshly made (like the French toast and panini). The atmosphere is adorable & quaint. Seating is a bit crowded, but that makes it charming.

The restaurant didn't provide a high chair for our baby, which was a bit disappointing. The service was good with our waitress checking with us to order and being prompt and attentive. Here is what we ordered: Grilled Cheese O+G (8/10) - the bread with the grilled cheese and caramelized onions were cooked well. The homemade ketchup had a sweet taste to it and was brought out a little colder than room temperature. I probably would have preferred the ketchup/tomato sauce to be a bit warmer. The Chicken Melt (8/10) - this sandwich was pretty big. It had grilled chicken in a creamy sauce, some Cole slaw (actually a lot of Cole slaw) and some dill pickles. The sandwich was a bit messy to eat and I think it had a little too much Cole slaw, but it was a good sandwich, nonetheless. Overall, I good experience with a few suggestions in my review that I think would have made it really great.

They have no frills breakfast deals like eggs and toast for 5$ advertised at the entrance. I wanted something a little fancier so I opted for a custom omelette combo that is served with potatoes, toast and a choice of veggies or fruit as as side. I was disappointed with the cheddar cheese that I chose for my omelette, it ended up being Kraft Single slices which kind of ruined the whole thing. Makes me think the ingredients are cheap - although prices aren't a bargain for everything. The only orange juice they have is bottled Minute Maid and it was 4$. They try to upsell by asking if you want thicker italian style bread, but there is an additional charge, and the overall portions are small. I suppose if you want a basic breakfast, this does the trick, but the lime green setting is unappealing and tiny, doesn't make me want to dine here knowing I can make something perfectly equivalent, if not better and just stay at home. The chairs and booths are cramped, very uncomfortable. The backrest for the booths are angled in a way where you are leaning forward the entire time. Note - They have pictures and menus on their Facebook page "Resto La Visite" https://www.facebook.com/pages/Resto-La-Visite/454891847907743
