Honestly, Sharon is so good at what she does, I don't even think I needed a trial because I absolutely loved what she did but it gave me peace of mind and reassurance. I told her all my concerns (oily skin, hair that doesn't hold curls, etc) and she made sure it was all addressed. I had SO many compliments after my trial and on wedding day. My hair normally doesn't hold a curl but I wanted cohesive waves and they held the entire night without making my hair feel stiff. She was perfectly on time too. Her arrival, set up and doing my mom's makeup, my sister's hair and makeup and then mine. She ended perfectly at the end time we aimed for too. I don't usually wear makeup on day to day basis, so I was looking for someone that could achieve a natural, glowy, k-beauty type look for my wedding. When I saw Kahn's portfolio, I knew she was the one! I booked her first a HMU trial a few months before the big day- I absolutely loved my makeup at the trial but decided I want to go for a different hairstyle after taking some time to think about it. On the day of the wedding, I was honestly a little nervous because I didn't get the chance to try out the new hairstyle, but Kahn understood my vision and delivered exactly what I had asked for (which looked even better than I could've imagined). I truly have never felt so beautiful than on my wedding day, and it's all thanks to her! My only slight qualm with the service as a whole (and not Kahn's fault at all) was that there was a last-minute scheduling conflict and Kahn was unable to stay to do hair and makeup for the rest of the bridal party. However, the agency provided us with an additional HMU artist and offered to have Kahn come back during cocktail hour to do a free touch-up. I appreciate that they offered this concession, because it was great to have her touch up my makeup after shedding some tears at the ceremony. Kahn even offered to touch up the groom, and helped me with my outfit change during that time. The two additional makeup artists (Nikki and Madison) were also great- my mom was extremely happy with her makeup and said it was the best makeup service she's ever received. Overall, working with Kelly Zhang Agency was a smooth process from start to finish and I would 100% choose them again if I had to do it all over.
