On the delivery day, they failed to bring everything they were supposed to. After what felt like over 30 calls, we finally reached them, and they delivered the remaining items late in the evening. Fortunately, this was the day before the wedding. When we spoke to the vendor days later to understand the disconnect and the unnecessary stress they caused, we provided feedback about the pickup day when their driver threatened to charge us because the tablecloths weren't ready. The venue intervened to avoid additional fees. Seriously? We tried to understand why the vendor would treat a customer this way. When we finally got on a call, instead of being sympathetic, they simply said, "That's not what the driver said, that's incorrect." Essentially, they called us and the venue liars. We didn't want to argue after just wrapping up our special day. I hoped the vendor would offer some sort of reimbursement, but we got nothing. All they offered was a discount for next time. Next time? Why would we ever book again after being accused of lying and enduring such stress? I would never recommend this place. They are absolutely unprofessional and need serious customer service training. I hope the owner sees this and has the compassion to do something about it.

Our wedding was May 31, 2008 and I contacted Linda in December 2007. From the first time we spoke she spent great a amount of time giving me her last experience with my particulur venue and the things I needed to do to ensure my wedding went off without a hitch. This time she spent all before we had even agreed to hire her! For many months we prepped trying to get everything exactly the way I had imagined it. Thanks to Linda she took such AMAZING care of me, that I truly had no worries when it came to this aspect of the wedding planning. I knew that whatever she said she was going to do, she would follow-through. (A comment to the person who said she didn't have email?, that's really weird because since I had began communicating with her in December 07 and email is often the way we communicated.) When my husband and I walked into the reception hall both of our mouths were on the floor because it was literally transposed into this elegant/sophisticated hall. She had set the mood by turning down the lights, had crystals hanging from my back-drop, candles lit each of our guest tables...we couldn't ask for anything more. Just a side-note...in addition to the work that she does ahead of time, the work that she listed on my contract, this lady went ABOVE and BEYOND the call of duty that night. She was literally my fairy God mother, watching over everything and I thank her for that. She also did not use e-mail, so it was difficult to communicate with her because we had to find times that worked for both parties to be on the phone. We were very firm on the exact types of items we wanted to rent, and she did follow through with delivery of items exactly as we wanted. In the end, we were very satisfied with the overall look of our wedding reception and were happy to have stayed within our budget by going through her for our rentals. 1 star off: poor organizational and communicational skills 1 star off: poor taste (make sure you figure out exactly what you need to rent prior to your meeting with her)

I booked the twins for my proposal and they went above and beyond to make sure they set up the perfect hallmark movie esque backdrop setting for a proposal. They really made it seem like it was out a fairly tale movie. The communication throughout the whole process was excellent. They had so much flexibility with all the location changes due to weather and sent so many recommendations. They made such an overwhelming and stressful planning time feel so easy. They stood out in the rain to play the song we requested and even took some photos for me with our phone. We had a photographer but the fact they offered to take pictures was so nice. They even went above and above and gave my now fiancée a huge bundle of roses that was so nice and sweet of them! At first, I was unsure about the direction that we wanted to go for our wedding signs, since we needed both a welcome sign and seating chart for our wedding in early May. With her help, we were able to narrow it down to a combined welcome + seating chart arched sign. She provided us with drafts of our requested signs quickly and incorporated our changes to the designs, I ended up wanting the color of the signs to be a shade of lighter blue and she made it happen while also giving us good advice on what would look best as well. She gave us a reasonable amount of time to provide her with the final list of names/table groupings for our seating chart, approximately 3 weeks before our wedding. Unfortunately for us, my MIL had a few changes to the table groupings after we sent in the final list, but Michelle was SO sweet and understanding and was able to squeeze in our last-minute edits. Our wedding was in SoCal, so we picked up our signs a week prior and wow, did they turn out gorgeous when we saw them on the day-of! It was very easy to set up and it fit so perfectly with our color scheme. Very satisfied with her professionalism and eye for design! Janey sent us over some catering packages and we finally agreed on a menu. When it came to letting Janey know, she informed me that their tastings were $20 and that they do tastings. After emailing back and forth, Janey told me that they rarely do tastings. How can a consumer trust that their food would be yummy on their wedding day if they aren't able to sample the food? I would be a little worried about possible food poisoning. After several attempts of emailing Janey, and giving both her and the receptionist our availability to schedule a tasting, Janey just stopped communicating all together. I can understand a busy schedule (hello, I work and attend two schools full-time AND am planning a wedding!), but to just simply stop communicating with a potential consumer reflects poorly on a company. A simple email would have at least helped. They were still available to cater our wedding since they claim to have hired someone recently who would be able to assist us. However, if I have to be the one who's always emailing and contacting a company, I think I'll find someone else who would be worth working with and spending our hard earned money on. The photos and presentation are pretty, but that's just it. We hope other couples won't run into this problem when planning their wedding, and I hope this review will help them in understanding that customer service goes A LONG WAY!
