She actually listens to you when you're explaining what you'd like and she has a way of amplifying your natural beauty without making you look and feel like you're not yourself. I can't even count how many times, after spending a good amount of money, that I have had to fix my makeup because the artist took it upon themselves to make me into what THEY wanted. My bridesmaids, my moms, and myself all looked like fancier versions of ourselves on my wedding day which is exactly what we wanted. I am a very particular person (especially at my wedding), and I literally looked in the mirror when she was done and didn't want a single thing changed. In addition to being really good at her job, she is also super cool. She is very calm, which I really appreciated. She is organized and professional, and has an attitude towards weddings and makeups that I really appreciated. I would recommend her without reservation. My only complaint (and I don't really hold Liz responsible for this), is she recommended our hair person, who I didn't love love. I can't find any reviews for her, so will just put mine here. Her name is Jen Adamites (www.jenursa.com). Jen did my and my bridal party's hair at my wedding. I think she was pretty good -- at the end of the day, everyone looked beautiful, but I would not put her in the category of totally amazing hair magician. My hair took a ton of tries day-of, and at the end of the day, I would say I was 85% happy with it. This is partially my fault -- as I said above, I am one of the more particular people I know, and I also didn't have an 100% clear idea of what I wanted. Jen was good about working with me to get it right. But, it was definitely a frustrating and time-consuming back and forth, and I didn't ultimately feel like my hair was as perfect as I had hoped, or that she totally got what I wanted. She's a nice and easy-going person, and overall, it was certainly no disaster.
