    Getting my feet done.
    Lucia R.

It the biggest nail salon I have ever visited. It is like a nail factory!!!! I cannot say much right now because I am getting my feet done as I write this. I will update after I am done with my manicure and pedicure. So far, so good. What has impressed me the most is the size of this place and how crowded it is so early in the morning. Almost every seat is filled and it is just 10:00am. My daughter and I were going to shop at BJs and saw this place and stopped. It is so crowded, it is difficult to walk between the narrow isles.

I stopped by Allure Nail and Spa on a random whim and was able to walk right in. Kevin did my nails and shaped them perfectly--seriously loved the little details. I've seen them pop up on my Instagram promotions before, and they did not disappoint! My acrylic fill came out flawless, and I'll definitely be back. Bonus: there's ample parking, which makes the whole experience even easier.

....so I ended up returning. I was in a crunch and needed a quick pedi. PLEASANTLY SURPRISED with the quality of my pedicure. Linda did an amazing job! the polish, the pedi care, the massage, the quickness. I want to give Linda 5 stars but my rating for the shop remains 3 because this place is advertised as a spa but it is LOUD and cramped. There is absolutely no way to relax and enjoy the experience. But if you need a quick service, Allure will always be there and ready to service you.

This is my second time giving this nail salon a chance and my second time being disappointed ! My pedicure was amazingggggggg !!!! But another lady did my full set PLEASE tell me why a FRESH FULL set didn't last week !!!! I got my nails done the Thursday before 4th of July .... I left unhappy because it was one of those "what you ask for vs what you received"situations but I said they're doable I'm not gonna make a big deal by the next Wednesday I had 3 broken nails !!!! & I hate the fact that this nail salon literally left no space to walk in the shop when did they're layout your literally squeezing past everything just to walk by ...

Gel nail peeling and nail breaking poor job never had this happen before

Went last 12/16/2025 for an overlay fill- in now a week later the polish is peeling off and nail breaking off.

Cute inside but ...my nails chipped the day after for my mother and for me. Also someone should tell the one nail artist who listens to them Asian game shows without headphones... that it subtracts from the zen experience (not that I'll be returning). I have never had my toenails chip... ever. Definitely not a good value or quality work.

These are my sets from a couple of visits, so far so good. I had to change my previous nail tech when she had a plan trip for 2 months. The price point is cool. Sometimes the wait is a little long.

Visited this location primarily out of convenience and the prompt opening at 0930. Despite the low ratings, I decided to give this place a try. When I arrived there was minimal to no wait. The salon filled up pretty quick. There was ample seating provided. However there may have been more customers than employees. For the most part, it seem like customer needs were being attended to within reasonable time. I arrived around 0940 and left around 1100. Services received: calus removal pedicure and manicure with gel polish on hands and feet. Total price $95, which is comparable to most nail salons. Payment can be made by card or cash. Recommended to bring cash for tipping. I was satisfied with the services received today and really appreciated being able to relax with each service. Not a fan of having a pedicure and manicure done simultaneously. My only con was that the color swatches. Updates are needed. There were alot of missing colors. Things to note: appointments can be made and Highly recommended. However, walk-ins are welcomed.

Mark is 5 stars! He has been doing my nails for years now. He's fast, nice, and never disappoints. Highly recommend!

I consistently come to this nail salon out of convenience. It's close to home and they take walk-ins. Positives: Typically quick service, you pay at the front, they do set appointments if you know who you want to do your nails. Affordable. Negatives: Some nail techs are wayyyy better than others. You're going to be rushed to pick a color. I have learned to not let them rush me. I want it to be right. You will probably be sitting super close to someone if it's busy. You can't tip at the register. Parking is tight most days as they are in a small plaza. Often when I take a picture of the color they are using and I come back for a repair or fill-in, the color is lost or gone. My favorite Techs: LT and Mary

    Brittney T.

My nail technician did not listen to me. I had to reiterate 7 times what service I asked for. My nails were poorly shaped. I had to point out to her that my nails weren't fully covered with the powder. She created the hugest pinky toe nail by putting the acrylic on my skin. There was no massage during my pedicure. There was leftover acrylic along my cuticle lines. Horrible job for $150. All I got was an overlay. Horrible experience.

I like to patronize minority business. I look for them specifically…read more I can't remember where I found out about this salon, but I'm glad that I did. Located in Capital Heights, at my first appointment, it was kind of hard to spot. Be aware of the parking, as some of the spots are assigned. Upon walking in, use the door on the right to access the nail salon. Appointments are made online, and Tenecia prefers that appointments are made at the half hour only. No problems there. Nice selection of colors to choose from, and the place is clean. I noticed that Tenecia takes the time to clean the bowl in between clients, which I totally dig. Also, she uses new new tools, like emery boards, and buffers for each person. My first appointment was a gel mani (with designs of course) and a pedi. Let me tell you, it was one of thee best pedicures that I have EVER had. She is absolutely excellent at what she does. I loved the gel manicure as well, because she actually does a manicure; you know soaks the hands, trims the cuticles, massage, and the like. She totally takes her time. My nails were shaped beautifully, and they actually grew! Woop! My only issue, is that my mani didn't last as long as I would have expected, but that could totally be me, because I'm super hard on my nails. Oh, another plus is that she totally accommodated me (in between clients) when I chipped my toe...see uber hard on my nails. No matter here though; because, my services were done well, and it is fairly priced. I will definitely be returning.

Since slots fill up fast, I went ahead and booked for the rest of the year. I needed to find somewhere that was preferably black owned since the other place I found took entirely too long. The parking is very limited and the lot is kind of tight. There's a parking lot on the other side, so I parked there and walked the short distance over. The inside of the shop isn't very big. However, it wasn't crowded, so I think it wouldn't be a problem. Also I wasn't positive as to how to book nail designs, but Tenicia explained with no problem and now I know what to do when scheduling. Even with this, she was still able to accommodate me within my appointment time. I really appreciated that. I read a few reviews about Tenicia's attitude, but I didn't have an issue. She wasn't talkative, but I wasn't really looking for that. She came off as professional and cordial and that was perfectly acceptable in my book. I really enjoyed the service and the work was awesome. The work was fast, but high quality. After 10 long years, I think I found my spot. https://www.styleseat.com/teniciaingram?utm_campaign=email_profile_User

*sigh* I hate to see…read moretalented people with poor business skills. It's the little, manageable, correctable things that crush them in the end. Working sporadic days/hours, not having a formal way to book an appointment (playing text tag and waiting days for her to check her schedule and get back to me with a date/time she's free is unacceptable)... that's the quickest way to lose a customer. This is the era of SquareUp and similar apps.. I was going to recommend that she look into it, but during one of my appointments, another client beat me to it. Her reply was that she didn't want people to have that much access to her. But....it's. your. job. Why wouldn't you want clients to have access to you? Block off the times that you are unavailable and let your customers choose from there. Simple. It's not like we're trying to come over and hang out at your house. We're trying to give you our money. What's the problem? At one point, it took over 2 months to get an appointment. I tried to make an appointment before Thanksgiving and did not actually get it until the end of January. To be fair, she finally scheduled appointment for 6 weeks after my fill in, but got sick the morning of, and told me she would reschedule...but she never did. She also has no color palette for customers to check out, so instead we have to play a guessing game of 'What color do you want?'. In the 17 years that I've been getting my nails done, I have always determined what color I want by looking at a color palette, and it would save us both so much time if I could make that decision while she's doing my nails as opposed to trying to figure it out when she's ready to polish. I recommended that she get one several times, but she just shrugged off my suggestions. What's really frustrating about this whole process is that as great as my nails look after finally getting the appointment, the polish starts chipping within 48 hours. I'm not sure if it's because the polish is watered down, a problem with the UV lamp she uses, or maybe because she doesn't use base coat. I don't know.  All I know is that rarely have I gone more than a week without my nails looking like I've had the polish for over a month. At one point, it was so bad that several of my nails were bare by the time I got to her for a repair. Not a fill-in: a repair in between fill-ins. The polish peeled off like the foil on a can of Pringles. If it's that hard to get a fill appointment, imagine how much harder it is to get an appointment for polish change. Instead, I have to go to one of my neighborhood nail salons and pay another $20 to $30 for a polish change (and *gasp* those salons actually offered color palettes, so I can actually see the polish colors I want! Go figure!). The last time she did my nails, one of them broke within the first 2 hours (and since I have evening appointments, there was no way I could go back and get it fixed because the salon was closed). The next day I had the chance to look at them in broad daylight and noticed that the acrylic was unusually thin, and that some of my nails did not have enough acrylic on the edges/corners (the sides of my natural nails were poking out from the underneath the acrylic.) No doubt, the girl is talented, but the quality and consistency is not there, and she's just not serious about her business... and that's really a shame. I've been wearing stiletto nails for about 5 years now and she has definitely done some of the best work I've had, in terms of nail shaping. However the juice is no longer worth the squeeze. There are too many Asian-owned nail salons that also do really good work, and I'm no longer willing to exert the extra effort to support the business of someone who doesn't value my business or my money or time enough to provide quality and reasonably accessible services.

I loved my visit. I was serviced by Diamond and she did an excellent job on my nails. Very…read moreattentive and a pleasure to talk to. Well worth the visit.
