I've never been told I couldn't walk into a bar to order a drink, especially after being told moments earlier that it was an option. If the policy had changed because the bar reached capacity, that would have made sense--but that wasn't what we were told. The inconsistent communication left a bad impression, and unfortunately we took our business elsewhere.

I immediately told the waitress that I no longer wanted them. She advised me to keep them and said she would have them removed from the bill. I took one bite to confirm that they were, in fact, undercooked and disgusting. The manager then came over, and instead of apologizing or addressing the fact that we had been waiting for so long, he asked me why I bit into the lamb chop if I didn't want it. I explained that the waitress had told me to keep them and that she would take them off the bill. He responded with a nasty attitude, walked away, and then proceeded to yell at the server for about 10 minutes before she finally returned and removed the items from the bill. This situation could have been handled completely differently. A simple apology and professional customer service would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, the way management handled the situation made an already terrible experience even worse. I will never be returning, and I strongly advise that this establishment needs SOME WORK--and it starts with management.
