Dolly was an amazing tour guide. We decided to go on a tour last minute (1.5 hours notice) and Dolly happily jumped on the opportunity to guide us through the day. Dolly has a vast knowledge of napa wineries and was able to design a perfect day around our wine preferences. It was not my first visit to Napa but it was my sisters first visit so Dolly was able to balance both of our experiences and made sure that both of us were happy. Complete Scam Before we had even entered our limo, the Driver demanded $120 for gratuity! He then took us to 3 different wineries, which were appointment only. 3 hours and we had not even been able to enjoy a single tasting, because all of his selections were appointment only!!! We had one Appointment for our final stop, but the driver was late and we lost money and couldn't attend!!! We loaded up for him to take us to a restaurant and he took us through a windy back road, driving wildly, making all of us car. After we ate we came outside and realize he has deserted us! We booked a limo for a wine tasting trip to NAPA valley. Michelle at the office set up everything. Dolly was our driver. Easy to work with, she gave us some really good advice on wineries. The limo was stocked with champagne, strawberries pastry, water... It's not a good idea to drive yourself, and the bus tours are just not as personal. We got to see the wineries that were of interest to us, and were able to eat where we wanted. Dolly called ahead ad made certain that we had a a spot reserved at the wineries requiring notice, etc. We completely enjoyed the trip, and would recommend this to anyone wanting to tour NAPA.... read more

I was contacted by Allure 2 weeks ago to help better explain what had happened. The driver was waiting in the lobby for my husband due to the way Allure entered the pick-up info. They used the old information from a prior pick up which delayed the process. They refunded the amount charged for the service which was great. End of story... No. I was contacted about my review. I explained I had not had time to update my review because it was written prior to the refund. I agreed to do this when I could because I had just returned from a trip to the east coast. End of story... No. I was contacted via email today about my review and the need for an update because my review was affecting their business. Excuse me??? After a delayed flight, getting lost, and having one hell of a morning our party was running extremely late the day of our limo booking. Allure was extremely helpful and patient and we truly appreciated them pushing back our pick up time with no other charges or headaches which you can usually expect from other limos companies. Booked an eight passenger limo for a SF night out on the town. One stop at a bar, then dinner. Our driver, Lamar, was good but you could tell that he was stressed. The limo was 25 mins late for the pick up. Allure did call me to warn me about the delay which was very appreciated. Things happen, I understand but we did have reservations which thank God were not canceled. The limo itself was an 09 Lincoln and clean. However, my passengers and I noticed a linger of stale odor. Wasn't horrible, just noticeable. There was a bottle of champagne, beer and waters. Lamar gave me his cell number and advised me to call him when we were ready for our next stop. He was quick and friendly. He even protected us from some panhandler who was bugging us. Overall our night went great just wished the limo wasn't late. read more

We went to about 6 wineries in the 6 hours we were given and then we decided to extend an hour...totally worth it when your expiring beautiful wineries! Rented an eight person stretch limo for the night. Nice customer service on the phone. Limo arrived late causing us to miss a special private tasting my friend had arranged at Davies after they'd closed for the day. Limo was so old that it literally had no suspension. We were bounced around so badly we were wearing more wine than we were drinking. A loud clunking noise screamed out from under the car. Yellowed old paper towels were shoved in the sunroof clearly to stop it from leaking, carpet was rolled up making it difficult to get in and out. It was so bad that our driver decided to switch the car out while we were at dinner (thank you Marcel) so at least we weren't drenched in wine when we're arrived back home. Had I known that Allure would rent that pile of junk to us for hundreds of dollars I would have hired Uber instead. Update to the above post raising my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. I received a call and then a text from Allure's owner this morning apologizing for the problems we experienced and accepting responsibility for the issues with the limo. She offered two hours free to me for an additional limo rental and also is going to refund me $100 of the fee for the rental. She said that they would not have sent the limo out had they known there was a problem with the suspension. She would look into the other issues as well. Given how the problems were addressed by the owner, I feel compelled to inform everyone that the owners handled the situation promptly and properly. It won't make up for the disappointment on birthday but it did help. read more

I had originally booked a 6 seater limo, but instead I got an upgrade to 8 seater. my gf and friends were super jealous, even though most of my friends were going on a party bus. Limos are a lot more comfortable, especially with Saad at the wheel, door, and practically wherever I needed him to be. Saad was amazing, he was: polite, educated in the routes, handy with appliances such as having bottle openers and aux cords, he was very intelligent about all areas that fall under Chauffeur, and he looked dandy in our pictures! Ok I will be honest and say I have not yet used their services but my experience has been with arranging their services for my wedding in Sept. My experience was with Michelle. She is fabulous! She handled the reservation changes with a blink of an eye. Michelle went above and beyond. We started talking about the Nara area ( since I am a East coaster) and when I asked questions about gourmet pizza in the area for our wedding party she was quick to do some investigation for me while she was still on the phone. My friend booked the limo and we had a list of places to go to. Dolly quickly told us that we should try other places--we took all of her advice and had the best day with her. We were visiting Napa for a bachelorette party. This was a small group (7) of doctors and lawyers in our mid to late 30's - I am including this so that you can get an idea of our maturity level. We decided to pick this service because of all of the great reviews online and of Dolly. This was a special trip and we wanted to hire the best - based on reading reviews, we decided to go with "Allure Limo Wine Tours" and requested Dolly. Dolly was scheduled to pick us up at 10:30 but instead showed up at 10:00. We had no idea she was showing up 30 minutes early and were busy eating breakfast and getting ready for the day. Eventually we noticed that there was a missed call from Dolly telling us she had decided to pick us up early. We were rushed out of the house and met a very cold, annoyed, and upset Dolly. She was rude with us from the get-go and practically yelled at us for not being ready earlier than scheduled. I personally felt very irritated but decided that I was going to have a good day and I wouldn't let Dolly ruin it with her rude behavior. Once we sat in the limo, Dolly proceeded to tell us what was planned for the day and that she was in no way able to stay overtime because she had other obligations in the evening. She announced an entirely new itinerary - one that was different from what had previously been discussed when booking her. My second annoyance with her started when I asked her to take us to a specific lunch spot for gourmet sandwiches. I had been there before and had highly recommended the spot to the girls. We had all decided to go there and according to the GPS, it was only a 5 min drive away from our location at the time. Dolly initially wearily agreed and then proceeded to tell another one of the girls that this was not the best place and told us that she had an even better recommendation. I was a little offended that she shot down our original request, as this was a personal recommendation by myself and we had made a group decision on food choice. However our group was easy going and decided to keep an open mind - also after dealing with her initial rudeness to us, we decided to keep the driver happy. She drove us 30 minutes out of the beaten path to a barbecue place at a local spot. The barbecue was decent but VERY MESSY food for a group of girls who were dressed up for a bachelorette. This was a very inappropriate choice in my opinion. I think she chose the location because it was what HER palate was craving. We were all slightly confused at her choice for us but decided to keep an open mind and be courteous toward her. We even purchased her meal for her out of kindness. Our entire time with Dolly was summed up to a total of 3 wineries and a far away barbecue place over the course of 6 hours. Before we knew it our time was out and we were returned back to our AIRBNB. At this time, being very dissatisfied with the service, we still tipped Dolly what we felt was more than a fair amount of money (15%) considering the service. What happened next was the most insulting moment and honestly what provoked me to do a thorough review. She looked down at the cash that was given to her and said "I really don't mean to be rude or anything, but this isn't enough tip for me" She then said, "I don't know where you guys are from, but here in Napa, we get tipped at least 20%." Dolly obviously did not understand that we were very UNHAPPY with her service. After all, that is what "tip" is-a reflection of service. Our jaws were dropped and one of the girls proceeded to give her another $100 for her terrible service out of disbelief just to end the conversation. The only nice thing I could say about Dolly is that she was a good driver. She also had good photo ideas for us at designated photo spots (although at one of the spots she asked us to hold up the bride and pointed out one of the girls and insisted that she should hold the "heaviest part" of the bride because of her build - which was rather rude and insulting). I seriously, cannot understand how "Dolly" and "Allure Wine Tours" have had such good ratings on all the other sites. We had a DISASTER of a time with Dolly and would NEVER recommend her to anyone. She lacks tact and respect and has no idea how to treat customers. She is also demanding, unruly, and will boss and insult you all over Napa and then insist you pay her extra for her terrible service. read more

We spent the weekend in Napa and I chose Allure to drive us around both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday our driver showed up on time (can't remember his name), he was very friendly and attentive to the itinerary for the day, always making sure we were on time and car ready and waiting. On Sunday our driver was Dolly, and I must say she was absolutely the best!!!! She not only was so friendly and funny, but always ready and on time and even had fresh croissants when she picked us up! I would definitely request Dolly for next time! Although Allure was very easy to work with and definitely gave the experience I was looking for I would probably only give their cars a 3 stars as they're fairly dated and old, but the service from Allure from arranging everything to the drivers was definitely a five stars!!! read more

I booked a limo wine tour for the 4 of us this Saturday. The limousine was clean and really nice. They made sure we had chilled champagne ready for us at our pick up. The driver was great as well he was always right in front of the winery waiting to pick us up.and took a lot of pictures of my party. We booked Allure initially due to the positive reviews online and the friendly customer service, even with phone calls late into the evening. We had two vineyards specifically in mind we wanted to visit, as well as a restaurant in the Napa area we wanted to try. Allure was not only familiar with everything discussed, but was able to work around our schedule in setting everything up for us. Michelle was even able to book a third vineyard for us at the tail end, though as the wine flowed and the day progressed- we missed it. Come pick up, we were greeted by José who was friendly, professional... and as it turns out, pretty knowledgeable once we got into the trip and were talking. He was able to teach us a bit on the drive in from down town San Francisco, which was nice. The limo arrived on time and with the promised bottle of champagne on ice (cold too) with strawberries and croissants. Ok, so why 4 stars? The limo could have been in better shape. Some paneling on the walls were popping, with the liner exposed. The red track lights running along the bar were not functioning and one of the lights in the ceiling was missing its cover plate. The radio was non-functioning on the ride down, though it was fixed once we got to the first stop. José was very responsive and made the $ituation right for us- which really set the tone for the rest of the day. If i had the option to do the trip over again, i would choose Allure once more- if anything for the ease in which they made setting the trip up and how responsive José was in picking us up when we were ready... i mean literally, he was right there watching for us the entire time. So that all said, i would recommend their service for those debating on who to go with, however i would prefer if the limo was a bit better maintained. All in all, 4/5 star experience. read more

We just had an OUTSTANDING experience with Allure Limosuine two weeks ago. We booked a limo for the day to take us around wine country followed by a trip into San Francisco for dinner and to see Sting at America's Cup Pavillion. From the initial booking through the whole trip... Allure did an excellent job! Our driver Dolly was both very friendly and flexible as we did not have a set itinerary... basically deciding on our next location as the day progressed. The whole day was extremely memorable and Allure was key to that experience! (the champagne and strawberries upon their arrival was a great touch too!). To top it all off, it turns out we left two pricey bottles of wine in the limo. We had realized it only several days later and called the winery who said that they did not have them. I was about to call Allure next, but before I did, I realized I had a voicemail on my cell phone asking me to call them. When I called, they informed me that we had left the bottles in the limo and that they wanted to make sure that we got them back, that they are sticklers for making sure their clients don't lose their possesions. Not only did they pro-actively reach out to us on this... they drove to our home (!) to deliver the bottles that we had left in the limo. This was WAY above and beyond what we could have ever expected. Before this incident with the wine bottles, I was already thinking of putting up a 5 start review of Allure.... post-this incident... I wish that Yelp had an extra star available... as this was a "6 star experience"! Thank you Allure for being part of a memory that will last a lifetime... and for your pro-activeness in calling about those bottles and personally delivering them to us! My 3 sisters and I wanted to enjoy a day in Napa Valley and decided a limo ride would be the best way to go. Our driver, Ray, made our trip so enjoyable, beyond what we expected and delivered amazing 5 star service. Would definitely recommend Ray, he knows Napa Valley and took us to wineries based on what we told him we liked. I recently booked a reservation for a long awaited limo wine tour for 6 of my friends and family. I dealt directly with the company owner Michelle who was a total pleasure to work with and extremely helpful throughout. Since this was my first time doing a wine tour in a limo, I needed all the help I could get and Michelle certainly made my life much easier during the whole experience. She for example conveniently provided a long list of recommendations that I would say were very accurately based on the types of wines and experience we envisioned on our tour. After my best friend and I tirelessly researched the list we were provided, we finally picked our favs and Michelle scheduled and reserved all our appointments. Our 1st stop ended up being Domaine Carneros for a champagne tasting I'll never forget. The surrounding scenery was absolutely gorgeous and the champagne was incredible. We then moved along to Artesa, the view there was truly remarkable and the modern day architecture was really neat to see. Michelle also suggested that we should be sure and do a grape stopping at Grgich Hills. That was a whole lot of crazy fun and we had blast to remember. Our final stop was Caymus and the wine there was amazing and also my personal favorite; the best Cabernet that I have ever tasted hands down. Our driver was just as cool and accommodating. At what seemed like a scene out of a movie, he was able to make a perfectly timed recommendation for a quick pick up for lunch at Oakville grocery which surprisingly turned into a fun filled adventure for all of us. He also got us to our appointments on time and kept us on track which was very helpful and kept the energy at a high. Another thing that my guests and i really liked was that everytime we entered the limousine, it was flawkessly cleaned and re-stocked with clean glasses, water and even our favourite snacks. While in San Francisco with a small group for business, we decided to take some time experience Napa wines. Our limo driver arrived early (which was greatly appreciated since San Francisco traffic can be unpredictable). While we only had one hard set appointment at a tasting room, we were presented with some time between tastings and looked to the infinite knowledge that Dolly had with the requirement that we wanted to experience a non-commercial mom and pop winery....the place she recommended (and took us to) was on the mark! Dolly is absolutely the BEST tour guide and driver we have experienced. We started at Del Dotto doing the wine cave tour. Dolly was able to provide background to the owners story and efforts. Allure planned our entire day from lunch at Mustard's Grille ( exceptional btw ) to every stop at wineries tailored to our personal tastes. We will certainly use Allure again when re-visiting Napa. We must have caught Dolly on a bad day. She set a start time of 10:30 am and was clearly annoyed from the start that we were not ready to go earlier than our scheduled time to accommodate her personal schedule. She was very quick to inform us that she would under no circumstances do overtime because she had an evening commitment and that we needed to be in and out at the times she dictated. While we appreciated her photo op suggestions, most of the day we felt quite rushed. She also quite brashly expressed dissatisfaction with our tip and demanded 20%. We paid for her lunch which I assume was also expected since I do not recall her thanking us for the gesture. I am coming back to napa in two weeks for a wedding with a group and needless to say I will seek out a different service. read more
