I think that bra shopping is a universally reviled activity, but it's a necessary evil. After losing around 80#, I became acutely aware that my too-big bras were making me look a lot bigger than I am. After looking at a popular intimate apparel store in Southlake and having a terrible experience, I was desperate when I stopped by Allure. When I entered the store, I was greeted by Shelby, who immediately ushered me into a dressing room and set to work measuring me. She listened to my concerns and preferences, then left to find a bra to try on for size. After determining the correct new size, Shelby brought an array of styles and brands for me to try out. The dressing room was spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the large mirror on one wall that allowed me to get a full body view, and I could see how much better my body looked in clothes with the right sized bra. After trying on numerous bras, I was pleased to find more than one style that I liked, so I ended up buying three and having Shelby add another to my customer profile. She wrapped my purchases in tissue and tucked care instructions and her business card, and invited me back. One thing you need to know about me is that I. Hate. Clothes. Shopping. Shopping for bras is even worse. I'm not an easy fit and I relied on the ladies at a different branded store to help fit me for several years. They were fine, but I recently went to get resized because my straps kept slipping, and (1) they wouldn't measure me because (2) she could "tell by looking" what size I was - this was as she was rushing by to pick something for another customer. Then she gave me a bra that had a smaller band size, even though the one I had was already snug. I've had to bid them farewell. I remembered seeing Allure in Southlake, and I somehow knew that they were able to fit a wide range of sizes. I figured that meant they could measure me and order a bra. Nope! They actually had bras in my size in the store! And multiple options, at that! Celina and Alidia were the best! They worked together to determine what might fit best....cups gap in this one, spillage in that one... I was thrilled with my experience and ended up taking 4 new bras home! Three different brands and styles, three of which don't even have an underwire! I thought that if you had a large bust, you would wear underwires forever! One of the bras was what Celina called a "comfy bra" - I had to laugh, but agreed to at least try it. Let me tell you, once we got the straps tightened, I couldn't even tell I was wearing a bra. I had support but it didn't dig in or bind me in any way. Thumbs up for comfy!! They offer an exchange policy, so if I end up not liking something or it doesn't fit correctly, they will give store credit and work with me to find something that might be better. Fantastic! Finally, I learned how to wash and care for my new bras to get them to last as long as possible. Some things I knew, but some tips were new to me. I also bought some of their detergent that won't break down the elasticity in the bras. Shopping for bras will be less painful going forward!! read more

I went to Allure last Tuesday in desperate need for a new bra that fit me properly. This is my second time to the store and the customer service continues to satisfy! Kicking myself for not remembering the great associate's name that helped me. She was super awesome, helpful, and was anticipating my needs by finding me a regular t-shirt bra, a sexy bra, and a sports bra! I loved that she gave me options from the get go and even offered to order from online or different store if I wanted a different color. She gave advice/feedback if one bra didn't fit properly and would immediately have another suggestion to try on that would fit better. She was really knowledgeable on all the inventory. During the times of COVID, finding a place that will measure you for a bra fitting or have a fitting room to actually try the bra on can be a challenge! I was so excited when I found out Allure would measure me for a fitting and let me actually try on a few different sizes and brands to find the perfect fit. They just ask that you wear a mask during the process and the associate will be doing the same. I walked out of the store a happy girl and sporting my new bra - I wore it out of the store, I was so happy to have a bra that finally fit nicely! The associate also helped to find me a great sports bra as well. I settled with the "Anita" brand for sports bra (pictured below) and it is the best sports bra I have ever worn! Keeps the girls locked down when running (tested it out 3 different times so far on a 4 mile run each time) and is actually comfortable, fits like a glove! Customer service was great and super friendly! Literally felt like I was being catered to, it was a nice experience! They have a wide variety of sizes. For me, finding a bra that fits with a size 30 band is a challenge, but it was so simple at Allure! The bra's can be a little pricey, around $70ish on average I would say. But honestly, it is so worth the price and a necessity when it comes to finding a bra that fits perfect! They also have a wishlist they can add to your customer profile if you find a bra you like and want to come back later to purchase, I took advantage of that option as well with the 4th bra I liked but held off on purchasing. read more

Update: Sarah and I communicated via email and she asked what would resolve the issue for me. I told her I would be satisfied with a refund for the bra. She did issue a refund, so I am upgrading my review to 3 stars. The reason I am not upgrading my review to a higher score, even though the merchandise is beautiful, is because I had to make a fuss with the company to get a resolution other than an offer of a 50% discount on a future purchase. If I had not written the original bad review, I would be out $113.66 AND a bra. I don't think this reflects good customer relations. read more

I'd rate this store 200 Stars if possible. Beyond amazing was the staff's work (Sarah) in my fitting, waist measurement, and cup size Measurement. If you have large breasts, Allure carries sizes larger than any other department store in America. The reason for this is because they're the only brand stocked by European bras. You will not be able to find the same breast support in American department stores like Target or Kohls. Allure's European bras have seam support and much more. It is worth a trip to get access to the better quality European brands and sized bras!!! Anyways... I was measured a cup size far beyond DD, and was ultimately size H in United Kingdom/German bras. Bras fit like a glove. Several H sports bras worked too. I thank God for Allure! read more

Today I finally stopped by Allure in Southlake Town Square - it only took me around 1.5 years to visit after learning about them at a Southlake ladies' luncheon where they were a sponsor. Wish I hadn't waited so long! I was immediately greeted by an extremely pleasant and personable Sales Associate, Brittany. She provided a proper bra fitting while I detailed what I was wanting. Brittany was very attentive while I was in the fitting room and brought several selections of regular and strapless bras. I was very impressed with Allure's wide range of sizes, styles, brands, colors, etc. I left with a great fitting strapless bra (no small feat for a 34 DDD) and an amazing experience at a store that truly values customer service - thank you! This is a beautiful boutique! Tessa was so welcoming and well educated on the products. We discussed my needs and wants out of my bras and did a custom fitting. It was so easy! I'll start by saying I am a size which many stores do not stock (thought I was a 36i, turns out I'm actually a 34J), so needless to say bra shopping is always a fraught experience for me. Or at least it always was. I just got home from this store, and that was the most painless and positive shopping experience I have had in ages! It started off with Karissa measuring me to get an accurate fit, and bringing in a few bras to make sure we found just the right size and the best brand for me. She was extremely friendly and professional, and fast! We found the right size and then she brought in multiple options for me to try on. When I explained that I was shopping for a special work dinner and needed particular style and color, she accomodated that and found the perfect options for me! I have never had the experience of bra shopping and having more options than I could afford to buy. But here, that was definitely the case! Karissa also made sure to explain the care instructions so I would be prepared to make the bras last as long as possible. I really love the customer profiles- they save the choices you liked, so that when you back you'll already know which bras you want to get! Karissa also explained that you can order via phone, using your customer profile, and have it shipped to your home. I'll definitely be doing that in the future because it is so convenient, since I work pretty far and it's hard to get there before they close. But now that I've been once, they have my profile saved, and it'll be easy! I know the price of a good bra is pretty hefty, especially if you're strapped for cash. I work at a nonprofit so I understand that too well! My only well-fitting bra is pretty old and beat up, so I was long overdue, but it's SO well worth the investment. I ended up leaving with three new bras, and I will definitely be back to get more in the future. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone struggling to find a good bra, especially if you're well endowed! I can't say enough good things about this place. A great experience working with Emily. I probably tried on almost 25 bras, and she was super patient and knowledgeable. I was a little disappointed that the bras I chose weren't in stock in the color I wanted, but they did offer free shipping from another store. A lovely store with great service.
