I googled other insurance companies that handled policies with my homeowners insurance company, I called and spoke with John explained the situation, I was sitting in his office 15 minutes later signing insurance brokerage transfer. Since then, I have reached out to him for commercial quotes, he has gone above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, he put me in touch with Keith with redbud insurance who handles commercial policies, and could not be happier with the services, his knowledge, and extra time he took to make sure all my questions/concerns were answered.

He responded on April 2 and April 3, and again on April 10, indicating the request would be handled. However, no confirmation was ever provided. On April 30, 2026 I contacted customer service myself--only to find out the request had not been processed at all. When I followed up with Jeff, the response I received was dismissive and lacked accountability. He stated, "It wasn't processed because you didn't answer questions." I asked him when he notified me of this. He informed me, "I'm notifying you, now." This is incompetent and unacceptable. Given that these are life insurance policies, this is a serious matter. In the event of a death, this experience raises real concerns about how a policy would actually be handled. I have since requested to have my policies reassigned to a more responsive and professional agent. I would not recommend working with this individual or company.

I used to work for Matt Pryor. I don't know another agent that truly cares for his clients as much…read moreas he does. He's a great guy to work for, and State Farm is a great company. Nobody is perfect.......no company is perfect.....but when you work in insurance, you get to hear horror stories from customers about troubles they had with other companies and it makes you proud to represent Matt Pryor's State Farm office. They aren't always the least expensive to be insured by, but there is not a better company to insure with, and there's not a better agent to handle your insurance needs. Customers don't always understand how and why claims are handled the way they are......just because your neighbor's roof is damaged doesn't mean yours is. You really DON'T want a company to pay for things that are not owed......we all pay for claims in the end. Trust Matt and his team. I did, still do, and will always.

Then 3 weeks later I received a letter from Bronson and they dropped my homeowners insurance. The other thing is you should meet with your agent every six months in 5 years I have never met with Bronson he was always busy or in a meeting. Matt is nice on the phone and makes you think he's getting you great coverage when in fact he is scamming and ripping you off!! Matt overvalued my house by about $75k which significantly raised my deductible. They also depreciated everything that was damaged (roof, gutters, garage door, and cover to ac unit). The total cost of my claim was $21k and they are paying less than half after charging a $7,600 deductible and only paying 67% on everything that's 11 years old because they depreciated everything!! During this whole process Matt never returned my call or answered when I called multiple times. He is a horrible agent! Please don't just take my word for it. Call a local roofer and ask about this company because all the roofers that gave us estimates (3 different companies) said they were horrible and very difficult to work with. If I could give less than 1 star I would!!
