I had State Farm for 39 years and filled a claim this year on the roof then they called and ask me to give them a 5 on the customer survey so I did. Then 3 weeks later I received a letter from Bronson and they dropped my homeowners insurance. The other thing is you should meet with your agent every six months in 5 years I have never met with Bronson he was always busy or in a meeting. So I went and found another insurance company well known competitor and got 102 thousand dollar coverage more on my home and at a savings 13 hundred dollars cheaper a year. read more

When I first moved to Oklahoma and transferred my insurance to Bronson Schubert's office things seemed really great. As a long time (over 10 years) member with state farm like I was still being taken care of. That all changed about a year ago when I bought my home. Before closing I was a vehicle accident and within that same week, Mr. Keith Berry told me that my new home was no longer insurable and had no other reason why other than "underwriting" makes the decisions. I was frustrated but accepted this loss. Fast forward a year and I purchased a new vehicle. Before purchasing the vehicle I reached out to Keith to verify the change in my premium to which he told me I was looking at a $20 difference. We picked up the new vehicle on a Saturday and had to add it to our policy using the after hours group. They emailed me a quote which was in line with what Keith had conveyed to me a couple weeks prior. You could imagine my surprise when I got notified my bill was due and it was $130 above what I had been quoted. I called Keith to clear this all up and he acknowledged a mistake was made on state farms end but then followed on with him saying he could not rectify this issue and gave me the same story as before. He said underwriting makes all the decisions. I told him I shouldn't have to pay the price that I didn't agree to and he said they still expect me to pay. What is the point of a state farm agent if underwriting is in charge of everything? I asked if I could call someone higher up the chain to try and rectify this issue and Keith told me I would be wasting my time. I have never felt so defeated and screwed over. I have it on good authority from another state farm branch that Keith Berry isn't helping me by choice. My advice is stay away from this office. Update 10/8/24 Melon replied to my post and tried saying the agents have no authority when it comes to underwriting. My problem lies with the way things were handled and the order in which it took place. My agent Keith told me that it was an ERROR on State Farms behalf. So am I to believe that when the business makes a mistake, I am the one who will suffer? Are you, Melon, telling me that if your business screws up, I have to foot the bill? Furthermore, if Keith cant make decisions, or even make efforts to correct the mistake then what is the point of his position? Is he simply a mouth for the underwriter? I was told I can file a complaint and was given a 1-800 number that directed me right back to your office. Keith even felt it was important to inform me that calling the 800 number was waste of my time. He knew exactly what he was doing and was very smug in his tone. What a scam. Worst State Farm office I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Lost a customer from me and I will be sure to take every opportunity afforded to me to warn people about your office. read more

A year ago i rated 5 star and excellent but it was just policy start up. i get real experience when i stop the policy and thats due to i move to other state. when i had policy i get frequent call from bronson. When i stop policy i made a call to him and told due to moving i stop policy so please send the refund to me. He said will take care. He send me the cheque on my OKC address and it returned. after two month voids period i got call from office mentioingn pleae provide new address so we can send you cheque. i was in OKC at that time so i asked is it ok if i come personally and collect. They told me will check and revert back to you. after my serveral calls finaly i can abel to hold someone at office and she told me we cant handover cheque we will post to your new address and you will get it with in 6-8 week. i am shocked and surprised. 1). if they knew i am not on that address why they sent the cheque that address ? They have my contact detials why not communicated like before every month they were doing for policy renewl. 2). why personal collection is not allow if they want they can ask my ID and other verification to make sure i am the person who paid all two years insurance to them. Their intense is only keep money with them longer time with any reason and they found the reason. 3). When i epxress myself with the support staff that this is not good expereince and probably i will not refer any one to your office. She told It's fine we dont need it from you. THIS IS FOR ALL PEOPLE I WILL ADVISE IF YOU GOING HERE PLEASE MAKE SURE THEIR TERMS ALSO YOU NEED TO CHECK YOUR QUOTE EVERY MONTH AND COMPARE AND IF YOU HAVE SIMILAR CASE PLEASE PROVIDE THE ADDRESS FROM YOUR SIDE IF YOU WANT YOUR MONEY IN 6-8 WEEK. After years of purchasing cheap National Discount type Home/Auto Insurance, I made the switch four years ago to State Farm. The main reason for purchasing the more expensive policy through the Bronson Schubert agency was so that I would have an agent to take care of my family and make home ownership a safer investment. I was also upsold on the Home Systems Protection coverage that would protect my HVAC system. But most importantly I was sold on the idea that if I ever need help I can just call my agent and it will be handled! Over the last few years my premium has increased every year. I was told to expect a yearly increase, but I am surprised at the greatly high amount every time I get the annual bill. My first claim was called in on 8/9/2022 on my air conditioner, after I had a technician tell me that all of my refrigerant had leaked out and that the condenser and evaporator had leaks. I called my agent where they directed me to the 1-800 number for claims. The claims department then told me to get estimates. I sent in the original estimate and 2 others for comparison. A few days later, I was then told a form would need filled out.............. I call daily to check on the status of my claim and every day I am told something different. Its waiting on a form, an Equipment Specialist is contacting the AC techs, or its being handled by the other insurance, etc. I am then always told it will be done by the end of the day and to expect a decision tomorrow. Two weeks later my family has been without cool air and its been over 100 degrees on multiple days. Now we are thinking we may need to get an attorney involved. It's very frustrating to pay my bill month after month and then after four years file a claim only to be given the run around and every excuse from the Insurance company hoping I will just give up and pay for the repairs myself. On the morning of June 14th, I sold my BMW 528i to Carvana, later that day I called my Agent's office to have the car taken off of my Auto policy. According to the State Farm website this is all that I need in order to cancel a vehicle from policy. Do I need to fill out a form again? I am confused? Does State Farm profit from how many forms I fill out? I looked online at my policy today and I am still being charged for this car even though I do not own the vehicle. My home has three air conditioners with furnace systems attached. I was hoping to protect my family from suffering in the extreme Oklahoma heat. I was excited when my agent sold me the Home Systems Protection and I happily paid the extra money. Now that our main AC has been down for 2 weeks, making it unbearable to be in the main section of the house, my family is forced to go upstairs or in with my Mother-in-law suite for relief. My wife worries constantly what will happen to her mother (on hospice care due to cancer) if that AC unit goes out. We are scared that this could happen and State Farm will once again ignore our pleas for help and that the worst could happen. read more

I have been doing business with Bronson Shubert for several years. I had a renters insurance and have always had a good experience with them. Have a recently I was notified that my policy was being terminated. They stated it was terminated because of claim history, which I did not understand since I had only made one claim. I of course wanted to appeal and when the young lady called me about the appeal she told me that they weren't going to appeal because someone either the underwriter or processor had written down in my file that I had filed a claim that I did not file. I asked her when she get the paperwork since I had filed a claim where I had signed to file a claim and also a letter in response to the claim that I found saying that it was denied. The young lady again Begin to proceed to tell me that they had no paperwork that I signed and no paperwork of the claim being denied but that since the processor had written it in my file that they were accepting the processer word. This hardly seems right and deals with the issue of someone having integrity that would put forth a claim and not need my signature or any type of communication for claim that they say I processed and it was false. So now I'm dealing with I having to get another policy which might be very well affected by their termination. I do not find this appropriate are good a good business practice and I think that perhaps there is some things going on within this company that should be corrected. I'm very disappointed, and now I question company motive. I will seek an attorney about defamation of character if I am unable to acquire insurance after this and I will not recommend this agency to anyone else. read more

Marisah Burrough is my "go to" person. Car insurance, house insurance, renters insurance, life insurance, claims, etc, etc....she has guided me through it all.
