He was able to offer us better coverage for both our home and vehicles at a better price which NOW includes a MILLION DOLLAR UMBRELLA PROTECTION at a lower price than I paid for less coverage and No Umbrella protection. I had never heard of " umbrella protection", which he explained how it works and was patient helping me understand my every option as it takes me a bit as I get older. I was in the middle of something, and he just kept asking questions unrelated to insurance and then sounded condescending because apparently my work didn't fit my title. I am under no obligation to provide that information, and he just kept repeatedly asking questions rather than apologized and asked if there is another convenient time to chat. Lost my business for sure. No basic manners. Just aggressive sales tactics and thinks hes trying to build a rapport but ended up pissing me off instead.

I had utilized the insurance for collisions and incidents through the years with no issues. Everyone has been helpful and kind, no complaints. He had a minor incident with the snow and a ditch last year and needed to get his car fixed. A handful of months later his premium increased exorbitantly. By $600.00. When I called the office to ask why, they weren't able to give me an answer. The gal said she would look into it and call me back. Never received a call back. Yes, please...let me give the company WAY more money for absolute unknown reasons. Okay. Yeah. Wtf. And wait for a communication that will never be received. Great business model. Decided enough was enough and clearly loyalty means nothing to the company. Ditched them and never looked back. I suppose I am silly for thinking that over 20 years of business would have potentially warranted a call or email to check in after cancelling (or following up to not let it get to that point). My home's roof is fairly new and has no missing shingles. I responded to this false claim, requesting that they look into their error. Instead, I was asked for proof of the roof's condition. The burden of proof is not on me. Travelers was more than welcome to come inspect my roof and determine why such an outrageous and clearly false claim was made, but they did not. I cannot remain a customer with a company that treats its customers like this. If I ever needed to file a claim, I can't imaging the battle that would ensue to force them to pay. Because of this blatant, unprofessional mistreatment, I have switched to the competition.
