I had been with him since 2021 and every year the annual premium for home insurance increased. I do understand that these things happen but every year I called and asked him to please notify me if the premium was going to increase. Every year it increased and I was never notified. In 2024 the premium more than doubled and again I was not notified. Now I am out more than $1,300 because I was not notified, if I was this could have been remedied prior to renewal. Jerry's excuse is, "I have a lot of people to contact and I cannot reach out to everyone, it slipped through the cracks." Agents in this role have a moral obligation to communicate any changes that impact their customers negatively and Jerry just does not care. That money may not seem like much to Jerry, but that is a lot to me and this could have easily been avoided. DO NOT USE JERRY!!!!!!!!!!!!

At one time I had four homes, 3 cars and an umbrella policy with Farmer's Insurance, Scott's office had a portion of them, and I have on multiple occasions called more than once, and never received a call back. One time I drove to the office, and waited, it was one of few times I ever spoke with Scott. The agency has the ability to write policies with multiple companies, I'm told by the support staff, but they never took the initiative to do so on my behalf, they just kept passing on very large premium increases. Today I moved my last policy and felt liberated. After 35 years with Farmers I have to say its a good feeling. To end I'm trying to find something good to say: I did appreciate the support staff who were always very polite. Update: I updated that though Farmers had all of my policies, Scott's office only had a portion. The plan was to move them all to Scott's office. Scott was quick to email me about my reviews and tell me I was completely inaccurate so I wanted to update the reviews to be sure I could stand behind them.

When my daughter moved to college and was no longer driving I called to remove her from the policy as she had no car at college and would not be driving. I was told by one of the support staff that removing my daughter, who had moved to college and was no longer driving, wouldn't lower my premium at all. Reached out to the agent and he was apparently too busy to concern himself with us. Two months went by and I reached out to the agent again who responded that he was on vacation and that another office staff member was now "working on it" Unfortunately for my family of two teacher incomes $650 a month for car insurance isn't sustainable. Unfortunately, we went with this as he's local and we figured we'd get good customer service as a result. We were wrong and it cost us almost $1000 more than we should have paid.
