Tim first called me and then followed up with an e-mail and then sent me everything I needed electronically and it was all faster than greased lightning. Oh, and the quote was much cheaper than at places like Geico, Progressive, All State, etc. I wasn't finding good quotes online so I couldn't be happier with the customer service, pricing, and professionalism of A-1. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN. I have had insurance for many, many years and have always asked…read morefor a $1,000 deductible. Ross put me into a 1% deductible of State Farms value of the home. Ross told me State Farm switched to a percentage rating in 2018. Three other State Farm agents told me that this policy changed in Indiana in the last 2 years. I never knew there was a percentage of the property option. If when I first got the insurance and State Farm was changing the normal deductible policy of all insurance companies, this should have been explained in detail and he did not do that. I asked for $1,000 and he gave me 1% relying on the fact that most people do not look that closely because most agents are not liars. I also found out I could have had an option of 1/5 percent. He never advised me of that. I was leaving Farmers and getting quotes. He wanted new business and he lied to get it. Are you aware all policies with State Farm in Indiana, If you are just now checking and finding out your deductible is a percentage and you were not advised please log on to Facebook, I Hate State Farm, and join the lawsuit. Do not believe anything that comes out of this man's mouth. He confirmed he lied to me when he said you can sue me, but you will never win. It was obvious that others have already confronted him with this problem.

During the theft, in which my car was left on rocks, damage was done to the car, with dents where it looks like they had used their body to leverage the wheels off. When I contacted State Farm, they were very good about replacing the tires and wheels. The tires, had been a month old, and due to the cars age, they insisted n going through the dealer. I indicated I would have been ok wit Tirerack, but this was handled well. Happy with their tire/wheel recovery team! The damage to the car, was another story. The local underwriter is very bad at assessing damage. When he came out, he wanted to deny the damage, and accused me of the causing the damage. I showed him pictures of the car, from a recent car and coffee event, and even showed him work I had done, on my dime, to a damaged rear bumper that most owners would not have touched. The body shop, Connans backed me and said the damage was consistent to what they had seen with other wheel/tire thefts without proper jacks. As Connans also services Tesla's, I was told that State Farm engages in denying claims, insisting on repairing instead of replacing parts per OE repair instructions. I contacted Kelley Potter, who said they would check into this, and they would call me back. They never called. I called them again, and they finally sent a different under writer who agreed with Connan's assessment. We now have our home and autos protected by an insurance company that treats the customer with respect, and follows OE repair recommendations.
