No one shows up and now they don't answer the phone. The roof job was a complete mess-every day workers were there I had to call the project manager (who surprisingly no longer works there), the sales rep and the office and ask them to please clean up the thousands of nails and debris all over the outside of the house. Completely unprofessional and unresponsive. We are now forced to hire an attorney to resolve this matter -it's been a total nightmare. Highly recommend NOT USING HOME PLUS ROOFING-they are scammers ! All this was from damage done in Ian. From day 1, until completion, the men were so clean and careful about how they removed the old roof and installed the new one. They scanned for nails that may have come out in my yard twice! The roof passed through the county inspection first time and the inspector said they did "great work" and he had NEVER had any issues. In addition to the great work, the price was great also. No one beat their prices and more importantly they have been here in Lee County for 20+ years so you only have to call them if you have any issues. Called again 4 days later. Explained the entire issue again. "Oh, Ok, we will have someone go out and take care of it." Emailed them again 2 days latter. "Someone will be out sometime today". It's now a holiday weekend and they are closed Friday. We've had enough. Up the ladder I go to screw the guard to the top of the gutter. They told me they wouldn't take any money until they were ready to order metal because they were ready to do the job. They took 50% in January. And since then I have contacted them four times to find out when I'm going to get my roof and I never get an answer. All emails are ignored. Phone calls either go to voicemail and are unreturned or if I get someone they dont know the answer, say they will check and get back to me. They have never gotten back to me. Really no excuse for this much dropping of the ball unless there is bad intent. I'm giving it until Friday and then I am getting the lawyers involved.

I sued the insurance company for damages and had Ledgewood Roofing replace my tile roof. They made me feel like every customer is the most important one. The salesman Darrin kept in contact and become the point of contact for me. I told them I wanted the roof done before hurricane season to prevent any further problems. They found the tile in only 4 weeks and started the replacement. It took a half day to strip the roof, three hours to load tile on the roof and one day to tile the entire house. The owner, Ben, came to the house after the work was done and asked if I was pleased with the work and to inspect the work himself. Gutters go on next week after I leave for home. Both Darren and Ben will be here with the gutter company. What terrific customer service and a reasonable cost. This smaller company is very competitive with lower overhead.
