For a whole year, I requested tire rotations, and every single time they refused and told me I "didn't need it." Then after a full year they suddenly said, "OMG how come you never did a tire rotation?" Wow. Just unbelievable. This place lied to me, wasted my time, and TOOK MY MONEY. The service manager said he would "look into who made the mistake," and of course he never took any action. I paid $1,500 for Toyota brakes and rotors that lasted only 25,000 miles. I have NEVER had brakes in my life fail before even 30,000 miles. My previous brakes lasted 40,000 miles every single time. When I brought this up, all I got was nonsense excuses, zero help, and zero responsibility. This service department is only known for taking your money and pushing services you don't need. They will talk to you with zero respect and try to charge you thousands for things you don't need. I'm WARNING everyone: STAY AWAY from this service department if you care about your money and your car. As a loyal customer, I trusted them -- until I saw the game they're playing. This experience was a straight-up scam in my opinion and completely unacceptable. I will also be contacting Toyota corporate about this.

The second car is a Hyundai Elantra touring, 2011 we still have it it works fine and are currently going to buy a Subaru Outback, 2017. The prices are more than reasonable and marks allows us to take it to our mechanic of our choice and is willing to fix anything the mechanics sees wrong. They don't give us any trouble about it and I am willing to recommend them to anybody.

The best part of it was their site was up to date with their stock, a big problem for most of the car dealers I have dealt with over the years. Richard (son of Carlo, who I also met briefly) was very thorough in his presentation of the car, both in it's history, all the work they did to it to ready it for sale (he showed me the invoices!) I am a licensed auto appraiser, and as an occupational hazard I pick out flaws in any cars fit and finish. Richard was telling them to me even before I pointed them out. I've never had a dealer be so honest and up front about a vehicle they were trying to sell. He allowed my wife and I to take a lengthy test drive...by ourselves...so we could put the car through it's paces. He even recommended a place we could each lunch, as we were not from the area. I am an educated buyer, I knew exactly what I wanted and what a fair price would be. The actual negotiation was easy, I made a fair offer and he accepted it. No BS, no tricks, nothing other than "that's fair, I can do that" I've bought a ton of cars in my life, both new and used. This was by far the best purchase experience that I have ever had. I've had the car for just about a month now, had zero issues with it and I could not be happier with the experience. The next time I go shopping, they will be first on my list.

I have had it with the sloppy, incompetent service at Gault Chevrolet. Four weeks ago I had my…read moretires rotated. Yesterday I got a tire pressure warning, indicating that the front tire on the driver's side was low (29 PSI), when in fact it was within the acceptable range. The opposite tire was low, causing me to suspect that the tire pressure monitor system was not recalibrated after the rotation. Further investigation confirmed that NONE of the sensors was in the correct location. It's also obvious that the tire pressure was not set to the recommended 38 PSI when the rotation was performed; it's not possible that the tire lost 9 PSI in four weeks. In the process of investigating this, I discovered that one of the chrome lug nuts had been replaced with a cheap lug nut, apparently because one of the original lugs was misplaced during the rotation. This is not an isolated incident. A few years ago I drove an entire winter season with a lug nut missing because Gault had left one off. And when I had my mounted summer tires swapped for the snows last spring, the car was returned to me with dangerously low air pressure. I'm paying dealer service rates for this? No more.
