I rented a 50 cal and used field paint hefty 50$ still not bad. What upset me.. the paint was skittles (leftover paint from returned markers) from previous players. And the marker barely worked. (New Etha,nice) It is usually that much to Play and use equipment but not used paint. Talk about double dipping. Again I am sorry. I will not be back nor recommend to friends.

They have a few well kept soccer fields with a concession booth and bathrooms in the middle. There is also a hiking trail which is marked pretty well. I was surprised to see that they have a BMX track as well. We will have to check that out some day.

The lady that was working went above and beyond to accommodate us even though only one of us rented from them. She helped us get our 2 kayaks back(with the one rental) to the starting point. After paperwork, we were given life vests for the kids and brought to the edge of the river. We're then given tips on how to navigate, how long it'll take, good place to turn around if needed, and then we were helped into the water once on the kayak. I will admit I haven't kayaked ever, and only canoed when I was a preteen. It was safe to say your girl was rusty and completely inexperienced. Add a small child to your lap, and a mom was slightly terrified. We paddled along, albeit very slowly, and eventually we were close to the golf course. We also decided after we saw some people swimming on a bunch of little "sand bars" that it would make a great a pit stop too. My kids were happy to have some solid ground and the water felt really nice actually. We only went calf deep in the water, mostly the parts that were clear, but the people we saw were shoulder deep. I'm definitely not brave enough. In any case! We saw a bunch of turtles, tons of dragonflies, water bugs, a few birds (herons?), but no snakes or alligators/crocodiles thank goodness. We'd come back for sure! This place is definitely a hidden gem!

Augusta Riverwalk in Georgia is a wonderful place to unwind and relax at. While my family was in…read moretown bike riding the Greenway in South Carolina we decided to cross state lines and ride in Georgia a little bit. That's when we stumbled upon the Riverwalk. It's a fully brick walkway along the Savannah. My family enjoyed our time here while we took a break from bike riding. Along the path there are numerous picnic tables that offer spectacular views of the river, but the path does not offer a lot of shade. However there is an amphitheater that has a canopy with a couple of benches, if you are looking to get out of the sun. Although my family had a good time at the Riverwalk there is some maintenance that needs to be done. The trellises that are in front of the amphitheater were withered; there was noticeable deterioration of the wood and visible rotting of the wood. Even though the riverwalk path needs some maintenance, I had a wonderful time enjoying nature and relaxing near the Savannah River. I would definitely recommend going to the Riverwalk in Augusta Georgia, if you want to get some fresh air while enjoying the scenery and the sounds of nature.

I assume it's about 3 miles as you can walk at the top level or the bottom level. What was really nice was that along the journey was the water where you you saw the different level measures of flooding in the area that occurred like in 1908, 1928, 1990 and other eras. There were beautifully crafted artwork either bought or on loan to the city of Augusta. Also there were a lot of historical plaques of which one was a paper mill in the area at one time but I'm not sure of the actual location. There was a photo of Moody 1946 which was interesting. I was really sad to see so many fallen beautiful trees which showed how the ecosystem is changing and impacting Mother Earth. I would definitely be going back to this place again.
