The flow of communication between residents and management feels like it's basically always open. I've had only a few maintenance issues and they were all fixed relatively quickly. This all being said, there isn't a lot of parking for guests from what I've found, and there is also a fire station right across from the complex. However, the random loud motorists at night on 1488 are actually more disturbing than the random sirens! Those would be my only complaints though, as it is a very nice complex and friendly community. It feels very safe and the management is very on top of everything going on around the community. Would recommend. Anytime you call him he takes time to listen if you have a complaint or concerns. He doesn't blow you off. He will get get the job done for whatever you need. He's has a great personality. He knows you by name and is a joy to talk too. Shasha is the leasing agent and she is super sweet. I enjoy going in the office visiting with her, but she stays super busy. She is very outgoing a hard worker and always has a smile on her face. The c maintenance guys are at your door soon as you put an order on. Javier has been here the longest. He has always says hi ever since I've lived here. He is a very hard worker. Even though he works his butt off he makes it a point to say hi to everyone he comes across. He's one of the nicest guys I know. The maintenance manager Roy is fairly new within the past year and he, I believe and he has turned this place around. Overall they finally got a good staff. Which was much needed. Only downside, rent is raised every time your lease is up. The way the economy is at the time everything is outrageous.

The crew showed up on schedule and we able to strip out the old, level and install 4 rooms in the space of about 7 hours. Sergio is on top of it and ensure a great result. Also, Chic is less expensive than the other guys I talked to where I had to go and find my own flooring (they would pick it up), charge me for the disposal of the old and the follow-up guarantee, warranty was highly supect. Lawrence actually was able to come to my husband's aid during a very critical medical emergency. That is the quality of concern our staff has shown. Lawrence was also able to have Alma assist in the necessary needs of my apartment. It is so gratifying to me when several friends came to visit and were just amazed at the appearance of Alders. They commented on the cleanliness and how nice the Main Hall and surrounding areas looked. We have new management here now and I know they are actively trying to maintain the same atmosphere and conditions that we have been privileged to enjoy. It was challenging trying to find an apartment complex that could decently communicate and accommodate my unit preferences but the Grove exceeded my expectations. I fell in love with the unit Allen showed me and I was embarrassed I displayed the tears (I did so many tours, but finally felt home!). I'm on the third floor, but its completely worth it. The property is well-kept and the community has a warm atmosphere. Cody was really nice and answered my question over the phone. He was also attentive and very considerate of my time when I came to pick up the keys. Maintenance is also on point! Sure, they come into the apartment like the kool-aid man, but they get things fixed! I even get follow-up text messages asking if I'm satisfied or if I need anything else! Unfortunately, a recent change in management has completely changed my mind about this apartment complex. We pay our rent through our bank (the bank sends a check). The check was not received by the apartment complex and despite providing proof that the check was sent by our bank, they were unwilling to waive the late fee. Additionally, we never received a notice about lease renewal. When I asked about it, they said we had to terminate our lease 60 days from today (about 10 days after our lease was scheduled to end) even though it was their fault we did not receive the lease renewal letter. We are buying a house and already had a 5 week overlap from the time we closer to the end of our lease. In summary, due to recent management changes, I WOULD NOT recommend Avana Sterling Ridge.
