I started with the free-range eggs with mayo, and my wife started with the leeks with vinaigrette. The eggs were delicious, but the leeks may have been the best preparation I've ever had in my life. For our main courses, she had the egg muffin, and I had the sausage and mash. Our meal was superb. Whoever is in the kitchen has clearly learned the art of French cuisine well. Service was fantastic, the people-watching (we ate al fresco) was fantastic, and I simply couldn't think of a way to make this a better meal.

I was on a short work trip and really wanted French food so it was disappointing that the plat du jour was sausage with mashed potatoes and grilled onions. It was very good, but disappointing as there's no French food where I live so I was looking forward to a nice authentic French meal and I could have had this literally anywhere. My friend has some appetizer with herring which was nice. Prices were very good and the server (owner?) was lovely.
