The owner is the most unprofessional person I've come in contact with. She broke her own contract and blamed me. My foster killed one of my animals and I informed her he needed to another placement. She blamed me and then stopped responding. When she has responded she is nasty and blames me for the stepping up to foster. The dog is still in my care because she hasnt done anything to help. She charges $400 + to adopt but hasn't helped this dog at all. please Find a more reputable rescue to work with if you want to foster. This has been a HORRIBLE experience. read more

Wow I'm surprised that Alljoy 4 Paws does not have a higher rating overall. It also amazes me that people would say "don't adopt from here..." do you not care about the dogs!?? This organization rescues dogs from the shelters and does its best to find a good fit for the homes of particular huskies, but some reviewers want to discourage people from adopting just because the owner "was mean" to them? I have dealt with the owner on many occasions. She is a spitball. In a good way. She is to-the-point, gets things done, and gets back to me quickly when I had questions. I fostered multiple dogs for her in the past before I foster failed with 2 that I now have. She knew the dogs well and recommended my second one because she knew my first one could be a little difficult with some males. She cares about the dogs and although she may be candid and sound harsh in her tone at times, she's a good person that wants the best for dogs. Wish I could give "0 Stars" but I can't! This place is awful and unprofessional! Stay away from Joyce and AllJoy! She's terribly rude and nasty! Long story short, she got a hold of my personal information about MY dog going missing after I've had him for over a year! He hoped the fence and ran away, he's never done this before! Somehow his collar was removed in the midst of all of this! Apparently my dog was adopted from her by someone else a couple years ago. That person surrendered the dog to a Humane Shelter rather than returning him back to AllJoy. So she took out all of her anger and frustrations out on me (someone who I've NEVER met) through harassing emails. I adopted the dog from the Humane Society and they never mentioned anything about AllJoy. Not only was I sad and depressed that my beloved dog was gone, but now I had to deal with her berating me about it. During the midst of this, a kind man found my dog and returned him to me directly at my home. I was so grateful!! But, how did this stranger get my information you ask? Directly from Joyce at AllJoy and I have the text messages between her and the good Samaritan proving that she sent MY personal address, name and phone number to him without my consent. Of course she lied and denied everything, no apology no nothing. I do know that when a dog is chipped some personal information can be public knowledge, however 24 Petwatch, the organization that my dog is registered to, says that I did not give authorization for anyone to release my personal information to STRANGERS aka Good Samaritans! I finally had to tell her to stop threatening me and harassing me with emails or I was going to contact the police! She keeps saying that she wanted my dog back by using the words "ours" and not "yours!" I'm seeking legal action against her currently. Since she gave out my personal information to a complete stranger than I'm making this post public for all to see. That's all I'll say at this point, because I'm seeking legal action currently, but please do yourself a favor, DO NOT GO THROUGH. ALLJOY! I have to say... I found a terrific husky dog in Idaho! but what happened is the "foster" person in Idaho that I believe was "money" hungry! I do know they have a great purpose of saving these beautiful huskies!! Her place was very filthy and dogs kept in travel trailers, buses, 10 large dogs inside the house, etc!! The whole place very, very dirty!! My place is very clean and lots and lots of room for a husky dog in a "fenced" backyard!! I asked Joyce what I can pay for a 4 year old dog and she agreed on the price! Infact she said okay!! The foster person came out and demanded for me to pay a lot more money and fence off more of my property! I was willing to build the fence a little higher! they don't understand I'm willing to give this beautiful dog a forever home cause he's been fostered most of his life!!! he Will be safe!! I initially reached out to help with fostering, and Joyce was incredibly insightful and understanding. While we were originally interested in a female, after speaking with Joyce, we realized that a male would be a better fit for our home--especially with our female alpha leading the pack. Looking back, it feels like fate brought us together with the pooch who was then called Midnight, now Leo. He isn't a foster failure--he's a foster win. We agreed to foster a dog who had been in boarding for quite some time after being pulled from the pound. They transported him to Seattle and kept in good contact during transport. This rescue is great! I have adopted four huskies at different times from Joyce and she always went out of her way to find the right fit for me and my family. I have cats, a little one, and teenagers one of them being autistic. When I've had struggles with them adapting and introduction, her and her team were right there to guide me. So I waited a good long while before giving a review for 2 reasons. 1) I didn't want to say anything out of anger. 2) I wanted to make sure that if I did leave a review I'd given myself enough time to really process the experience so that I could lay the whole thing out for someone else who is thinking about adopting from Alljoy4paws. Tbh the way Joyce acted on a phone call with my wife was so unprofessional. She complained the whole time about the work she was doing, complaining about how she was losing money, berating my wife who was just voicing her concerns about an experience we had, and tried to leverage herself in a place of "power" stating that she would never allow us to adopt a dog from her organization. She was just extremely rude, pretentious, and not what you would expect of someone running an non profit animal assistance organization like this. (To give some back story) A few months ago I was on a website called pet finder.com. There was a dog that I fell in love with immediately named Skywalker. I have had dogs all my life and I always dreamed of owning a husky. My wife knowing this wanted to be able to give me Skywalker as my dream dog. She filled out an application based off of the pet finder saying that Skywalker was looking for a forever home and we were very eager to give that to him. After we had applied the founder Joyce reached out to us asking us to send photos and pictures of our home. We complied with her requests took time out of our day and submitted what she requested. I am not sure why but only until 24 to 48 hours after we sent her pictures she decides to tell us that Skywalker was going to be adopted by his foster parents. This was very frustrating because it was very apparent that this information was already known to Joyce and she just decided to have us go through an application process withholding the fact that he was to be adopted already, when she could have easily responded to the initial application stating Skywalker was to be adopted and we can try adopting a different dog. This made wife and I very discouraged and made us Leary of pursuing adoption with Alljoy4paws because we didn't want our time to be waisted yet again l. My wife requested in email that someone reach out to her by phone because she wanted to speak directly with someone first to let them know how we were feeling, and reassured that everyone's time was being respected. We got a call back and it was aweful listening to my wife being treated and spoken to the way she was. THERE ARE HUNDREDS IF NOT THOUSANDS OF HUSKIES UP FOR ADOPTION IN THE STATE OF CA. I suggest over this agency, go and look through your local animal shelter and save those dogs on your own! Our husky we adopted was " red labeled" and about to be euthanized. We've had her with our family for a month now and she is amazing. It blows my mind that someone could ever be mean to her; or that she was even close to being euthanized. Stay clear is my advice. She went insane with me. Accused me of stealing her dogs which I fostered and hand fed, fought to keep them alive. She called me up one evening and said she would be at my place in an hour.i was at our second home, she threatened me to come into my house and take them. I asked her a week prior when she wanted to pick them up, but I assume she doesn't think she has to answer to people and sees herself as the queen boss and we are the minion who work for her although we're volunteers for dogs. She thinks we have to answer to her. I told her let's make it a time when you can pick them up, but nope that wasn't good enough she yelled and screamed and went berserk. In my opinion I would stay away from her. She posted nasty stuff on Facebook said that I stole her dog and puppies, and asked readers in my area if anyone saw me with her dogs, to call the police. My dog walker and I we frightened to death. This was my experience. It is my opinion and my experience here, I know others have had bad experiences like not giving full shot records to new owners. One dog she never gave a distemper shot to because I know the dogs info. Be careful read more

I was looking at a husky drove about 4 hours to the meet and greet. I met the foster provider who was incredibly welcoming and just a great host. You could tell he cared about the dog and wanted to give back. We went for a walk got to hangout for about an hour and a half and things were going well. The dog was a little rough and growled a couple times but i chalked it up to nervousness and being protective. We decided to temporarily place the dog with my while his foster provider had to leave town the following week and try it out make sure the dog was comfortable. We loaded up the dog and off i went. I was driving and it was a nice day so i pulled over to the park to let the dog out take a walk and hopefully to start bonding. The second i opened the cage he lunged at me tried to bite me so i closed the cage up while he was barking and growling. He continued to try to bite me through the cage i called up the foster explained what happened and while I dont blame the dog at all, as i know he was nervous and it's a lot to deal with i cant have an aggressive dog around my kids. Foster said no problem bring him back, we unloaded him dropped him off i apologized wished him well and left. Now again not blaming the dog i was still planning on donating to the non profit and try to sponsor the dog if someone else wanted to when i got home from my drive. I get a call from Joyce Cheng, the owner and founder of the non profit. She proceeded to yell at me and blame me for the dogs behavior, make claims that the dog has never done this (The foster mentioned the dog struggled with males including other people he had brough around his house) The conversation went on for about 5 minutes her yelling at me demanding i take the dog. I ended up telling her how unprofessional it is and clearly, she has no care for her dogs she just wants to move them and hung up. She then proceeded to send me text messages claiming i was wasting her time and continuing to berate me. I just want others to understand what they are getting into. Clearly the founder has some instabilities or simply is just trying to push dogs on people that are not good fits. But i would recommend staying away from this group while the foster parent i encountered was a genuinely good guy and i enjoyed the experience. Joyce ruined it for me. She is not fit to run a non profit or really any type of business and i can only pray she is not involved with animals herself as she clearly does not care about them. read more
