I really appreciate Allison's honesty. I had an issue with a tooth that I assumed needed a crown. Turned out all it needed was a part filled in that was cheaper than replacing the whole crown. The office staff is very friendly and have a positive energy that looks like it comes from a great work environment. I've never seen 5 year olds want to go to the dentist, but that will be the case when you're off to a visit to Dr. Kutz! My niece and nephew get about as excited to see Dr. Kutz and Pam as when they go to the zoo or to the park or something! Dr. Kutz and Pam know all of their patients and treat them as if they're family. They remember little details about everyone, no matter how long it's been since you've visited. This review is long over due! I was having issues with three teeth and was seeing another Dentist. That Dentist had already pulled one of my teeth and told me the other two were going to have to be pulled eventually. There were quite a few red flags at this other Dentist's office so I decided to go outside my insurance network and just find a good Dentist I could trust. Well, not only did I find a Dentist I can trust in Dr Kutz, but I found an ***outstanding*** Dentist and team to provide me with excellent dental care. Dr Kutz not only literally spent hours researching my prior records and clinical notes, but spoke directly with the staff from my previous Dentist's office in order to clarify their notes. By the time I actually met Dr Kutz for the first time she had already spent 3-4 hours on my dental health! I have NEVER been treated so well at ANY professional's office. It is very obvious from the beginning that Dr Kutz and her staff are there to help you, care about you and your dental health and to provide the very best care possible. Dr Kutz began with educating me on exactly where my oral health stood and noting that those two teeth the other Dentist told me were going to have to be pulled were indeed infected, but that she thought we could still save them. She treated one with a long term, low dose antibiotic that completely cleared up the problem with that tooth. Next, she addressed the other tooth of concern with a high dose, short term antibiotic as it was a different type of infection with the exact same result of saving that tooth. It is obvious that Dr Kutz, in addition to an A+ demeanor, is highly knowledgeable about oral health! She is very patient and thorough in answering your questions and calming your nerves and fears. We also discovered that the previous Dentist office was being overly aggressive while cleaning my teeth making it a very unpleasant experience. Pam, the Hygienist at Dr Kutz's office, is such a nice person and so good, no she's excellent, at her job I really enjoy going to the Dentist now! From the moment you step into her office, Dr Kutz's staff will make you feel welcome, comfortable and well cared for. Miershanna (I hope I spelled her name correctly!) is always right there to greet you upon your arrival with a friendly smile and conversation. This is "old school" care that you will receive at Dr Kutz's practice. A Dentist whose heart and passion for providing excellent care for her patients is the driving force behind everything they do. A Dentist who isn't running between patients making you feel like you're on an assembly line. And staff who take a real interest in you as a human being. Even though Dr Kutz's office does not accept my particular insurance it has not stopped me or my wife from making her our permanent Dentist. We pay out of pocket for services and the fee is always extremely reasonable when compared to paying a monthly premium for insurance that sends you to a Dentist that is perhaps not your best option for good oral health. We cannot thank Dr Kutz, Pam and Miershanna enough for being the very best in their field! Believe all the great reviews you see here! I've gone to Dr Kutz for over 7 years. She has been the best dentist I've been to and I've been to many in many states - even countries. I've got unique dental needs with my pre-existing conditions, I travel extensively, and I am perpetually busy, but she makes the time when I need it. When looking at treatment options, she confers with the data and you - the patient to understand the situation thoroughly, listens and makes assessments based on all these factors. I remember going on vacation in Belize when I had a bridge fail. She took my phone call from overseas, I sent her photographs of the situation and then she conferred with the dentist in Belize to support the situation. I don't know many dentists that would help someone like that. As far as her dental work, she is meticulous with her work and making sure it looks right, feels right, and functions right. Last and most importantly, Dr. Kutz is a genuinely kind and caring person, I am glad there are people like her in the profession of helping people in this field. She keeps a limited but very capable staff that share in her philosophy of care and working with and to support the patient. With a couple people on staff it makes it feel like a family there, and it's better than some big appointment making office ran like a cash machine - trying to hurry up and get you in and out of the office or making you wait all the time. So it's time to find a dentist- look no further. Dr. Allison Kutz and her staff are the best I have even has the pleasure to work with!!! I promise promise promise you will not regret it if you make an appointment. I walked in the door and was greeted with a warm smile. They went above and beyond to make me felt comfortable and calm, which is super important because I have a little bit of "doctor anxiety". I was not rushed and was able to ask as many questions as I needed to fully understand what was going on with my dental health. Both the doctor and staff are very knowledgeable!!! I was able to make my appointment /follow up work within a reasonable time frame. And, after the procedure Dr. Kutz phoned me the next day, personally, to see how I was doing. She is very sweet, thoughtful, and meticulous! Side note- I really appreciate how small the clinic is as it did not smell like chemicals, nor did I hear 5 roaring drills. Sweet!! My family has been going to Dr Kutz since she took started her office. The office staff is friendly, attentive and knows who you are just by the sound of your voice. When you enter the office, you are guaranteed to get a smile or a pleasant greeting from the folks up front. This is definitely a family friendly welcoming dental office. Cleanings - Pam always does great cleanings and she has not only kept track of me and my husband, but she has also got my 5 year old son EXCITED to go see the dentist, get his teeth 'tickled' and take X-Rays. Pam has been doing her job for quite some time so I appreciate when she is doing her cleanings, she really has a good feel for what information should be passed on to the DR for more investigation. This gives me more peace of mind :). DR KUTZ - I could go on and on about Dr Kutz. She is an amazing dentist!!! She has a gentle and soothing demeanor which works well for the dentist adverse types (like my husband). She has always been very upfront and never recommended excessive or unnecessary procedures. She spends a lot of time during fills making sure surfaces are smooth and bites are correct. She thoroughly explains the difference between dental fix options (example: different filling, crown, bridge options, etc.). A molar with a 20+ year old filling broke and caused a lot of pain and irritation to my tongue and cheek. I don't have insurance and she was willing to work with me on an affordable payment plan.
