Dr. Lovelace knows how to make a patient feel valued, spending the time answering my questions and concerns without rushing. The office environment is also warm and inviting. Whether you are young with little health concerns or a higher maintenance patient who is 50+ (me!) the convenience and personal attention you can get in a direct primary care practice like Dr. Lovelace's is very attractive and relatively affordable when you really look at the overall costs. No more booking appointments months in advance, and you can spend more time with your doctor, who can get a better understanding of your medical history and needs.

I was met at my car by staff who was kind, informative, and efficient. She asked where I would be traveling to in order to make sure that I would have the correct test completed. As someone who works in healthcare myself, I will be adding them to my go-to list of providers. Highly recommend for anything you might need. Be sure to check them out!!

Medical records are not correct or up to date, employees have attitudes and do not willing complete tasks like insurance forms, test results, etc. after 5 years of being a very happy patient, I feel like they'd rather I wasn't there. Ever. I certainly don't need to pay a monthly fee for service that is lower than an urgent care. Twice now I've had lab work done, and was done again at another provider and the results were completely different. I am starting to think that although blood was drawn, labs weren't sent in. Maybe it's a staffing issue. Maybe too many irons in the fire or too many patients.

I was told I could go to this doctor but her wait was for MONTHS and MONTHS. So fine, I wait. Here's the thing though - I needed a refill on my prescription for cholesterol med. CVS needed them to call it in because it didn't transfer from Walgreens. She refused to call it in, saying I'll need to see her first. She recognized I got the earliest appointment (would have to wait 1.5 months without meds, after already waiting 5-6 months just for the privilege of seeing this new doc). --but said she won't refill it until she sees me in mid December. What? It's cholesterol meds, not a controlled substance. I said to her nurse/office staff "So let me get this straight...my doc ditches me with no notice, then you send me to this doc and she says she won't give me a refill that my doc that left me prescribed because HER SCHEDULE is too booked to see me in time?" She replied "Yes". I said don't worry, cancel it. I'm done with location and cancelling with my gyno who is part of this practice too because of this. Shawna Kauffman doesn't care about my health. I don't see why she'd care for yours. This location has been a hassle to deal with since day one. These doctors and their egos - they're going to seriously hurt someone here. I'm so sick of lazy docs that think they're all that. Oh, btw, no one has figured out why I lost almost 50 pounds now (with other health issues). So you think I would be a priority. But no. I go on a long wait list just to get the chance at 20 min (if I'm lucky) appointment. No thanks. I'm done with Norton period. And you should seriously stay away from this doc and that place in general.
