Coordinating the move from a wall to wall, floor to ceiling, end to end tightly packed and secured PODS unit in Grandville, MI to Traverse City was not simple nor easy. The transfer from POD to trailer took five of us 2 hours. There were several pieces of nice furniture and many tubs and boxes of fragile items. Not a single item was scratched, scuffed, or damaged in any way. Transfer into our residence went more quickly and in 1.5 hours they were done. I couldn't have been more pleased. It took them…read more3.5 hours to unload a professionally packed 16 foot truck, walking 50 feet to two empty storage units. One of the two kids (they had to be 18yo max) was sick so he basically moved one tiny thing at a time while leaving his older brother to do all the work. In addition they wedged fragile WELL MARKED BOXES in the middle of giant stacks of items. I dread opening these items. It was also not explained to me that I would be paying travel time etc and they do not take CCs so I literally did not have enough money to pay them (as I anticipated 2 hours MAX!!!). When I explained my frustration to the boss (Mark) he told me "you can't win 'em all". I had to pay one of the kids girlfriends via Venmo to complete the transaction. I was supposed to use them again at the end of the month when I move into my new home, but that's a HARD PASS.
