When you drive up, it may look like the world is desolate and incomplete, but once you get behind the gate, you're placed into a gorgeous, rustic, Pinterest/Instagram worthy ambiance. Hors d'oeuvres were delicious with a great team making sure guests are fed, soused, and having fun! If you get the chance to attend or have a wedding here, I'd highly advise against getting the filet mignon. Cooking steaks en mass is difficult, my steak was over cooked. Poor cow who sacrificed his life. The chicken looks amazing though! Bartenders have heavy pours. You will have a ton of fun :)

From the beginning, we were given verbal assurances that the event would go until at least midnight. Based on that understanding, we planned our entire wedding timeline, music, and flow of the evening. However, on the actual night of the wedding, the staff abruptly shut down the music at 10:30 PM -- cutting the celebration short with no flexibility or consideration. When we tried to address this, they pointed to fine print buried deep within a long, 10-page contract -- something that was never clearly explained or emphasized beforehand. Instead of working with us or honoring what was discussed, they relied on technicalities to justify ending the night early. It felt misleading and unprofessional. A wedding venue should prioritize clear communication and delivering on expectations, not hiding behind small print after the fact. The way this was handled left us stressed and frustrated on a night that should have been joyful and memorable for the right reasons. I would strongly advise future couples to be extremely cautious, go over every single detail in writing, and not rely on verbal promises -- because our experience showed that those promises may not be honored.

The Vineyards - Garden Ceremony The Vineyards Simi

If I could pick just one word to describe The Vineyards and our wedding day? Magical. I had…read moretoured many venues in the Ventura County area, but none of them struck me the way The Vineyards did. I had a really good feeling upon pulling up to the venue, as it was clear there was ample parking. Not only that, but the greenery is well maintained and it looks absolutely stunning. It's easy to see from any of the photos, but being there in person just doesn't do it all justice. Every corner of the venue is well thought out and beautiful. The lights and greenery that make up the archways just gave the place an enchanting feel. THE VENUE/PLANNING: I knew I wanted a "garden" feel for my wedding and having attended 2 weddings leading up to my own, those experiences guided some of the more practical criteria I was looking for in a venue: -indoor/outdoor options for weather consideration -More than 2 bathrooms/toilets -Getting ready area for groom (in a lot of venues, there's some kind of bridal suite, but Groom facilities are more hit and miss) -photo op areas (plentiful!) -Large parking lot The Vineyards easily met all of these parameters and more. Aside from the above, I do want to note the HUGE bridal suite area with couches, tables and its own bathroom. I did not have a bridal party, but this can easily accommodate 15+ people. There were also 2 "ceremony" location options to choose from (garden or waterwall), and distinct areas for the cocktail and reception. There are so many little photo op nooks around the grounds that your guests can walk around during cocktail hour and enjoy the vibes. In the planning months leading up to our wedding day, The Vineyards was always very flexible and accommodating. They have a portal system which keeps all the important information in one place, in terms of information that they need, deadlines, correspondence, food choices, etc. Our wedding was in February 2026, definitely with the potential for rain. The venue (and all my vendors) were right there with me tracking the weather to see how it would play out. Luckily, it did not rain (down-poured the next day though!), and we were able to keep the ceremony in the Garden area. They did have options available to move the ceremony inside in case it were to have rained, and they went over a few details in preparation just in case. As other reviews have said, they offer a "Vendor Package" which I highly recommend. There are multiple vendor options within each category, but it is a huge perk that these vendors have the familiarity already, and really know where things are at the venue. I was very happy with all the vendors I chose; I'm sure you can't go wrong with any of them. THE STAFF: We met with Shadi, who first toured us around the venue. She is super sweet and very personable. She gave us a lot of detailed information and answered all the questions we had. We had even asked to tour the venue at night and she absolutely accommodated us, and turned on all the features so we could really get an idea of what it would all look like. Everything there is even more stunning at night, when all the lights are on. Shadi ended up going on maternity leave before our wedding and we were helped by Soroor and Jim, who were also incredibly helpful in all the questions that I had. Soroor was there the day of as well and helped me with my outfit right before the ceremony started. Jim was also there in the morning to help with a few setup items. Deana was our coordinator for the day and she is an absolute ROCKSTAR! We briefly met her during the food tasting, but we really got to see her in action at our rehearsal. I could tell immediately that she is someone that is incredibly organized, detail oriented and absolutely knows what she's doing. She is always thinking of the couple and doesn't make you feel like you're just another number. She was with us every step of the way from the start of the ceremony, making sure we had food and drinks during break times, keeping us on schedule with wherever we needed to be, handling and corralling difficult family with grace, and just generally checking in with us and how we were doing throughout the evening. It can be an overwhelming day, but it really does fly by, and having her there to guide us through it all is a big reason for why our wedding went as well as it did. We couldn't imagine having a different coordinator to keep us comfortable & stable. She made us feel that if anything were to have happened, we would be able to deal with it, no problem. We interacted with some of the wait staff during the Food Tasting as well, and not so much on our actual wedding day, but I received good feedback from our guests that all were attentive, friendly and professional. I genuinely feel that the team at The Vineyards really does care about making your day the best it can possibly be. I know that my wedding would not have turned out as amazing as it did, if I had had it at

Soroor and jimmy gave us such an easy and loving process throughout this past year of our engagement. (We got engaged July 4, 2025 and got married 06*06*2026) it was so magical!!! THE best day of our lives!!! Thanks to everyone at The Vineyards! From the very beginning, they helped turn our vision into reality and made what could have been a stressful process feel exciting, seamless, and enjoyable. Jimmy, Soroor and everyone apart of the staff showed such dedication, really focused on every detail, and genuine care have meant so much to us. Everyone was there every step of the way, answering questions, calming nerves, and ensuring that every detail was thoughtfully considered. Because of everyone at The Vineyards, we were able to truly enjoy this journey. Especially, July 6, 2026. It was truly and genuinely PERFECT!!! Nothing went wrong, and the day started out and ended just as magical as every other part of this adventure with Soroor and Jimmy. Wedding planning is not for the weak, but honestly Soroor & her husband Jimmy were there for every part of it and any and all questions I had. They are both very responsive and quick to reply to calls, texts, and emails! They were so easy to communicate with and it made us feel at ease through every moment of the year leading up up until 1 am in our wedding day. It was truly beautiful and unforgettable. I'll definitely be having more events at this gorgeous, hidden gem of a venue. Thank you for all of the time, energy, and heart you ALL poured into making our wedding day and weekend so incredible. Xiome, the owner, created a kid-friendly business with really fun and elaborate RC tracks that is so easy to race even as a first timer. I had the best afternoon here with my friends as we raced around the track and conquered the obstacles on the car track. We then went to the food truck and had THE BEST Colombian food on earth. The steak skewer and cheese empanadas were my favorite. They were made with such intricate spices and the empanada made a beautiful cheese pull when we broke it in half to share. Every arepa variety on the menu was delightful as well, and such a unique addition to Simi Valley. There are also burger options for those craving a more All-American food experience. Whether you're in the mood for RC racing, delicious Colombian food, or both, Off Road is an absolute must try - with the added perk of supporting a small business when you come here as well! From our first conversation over email, Rachel was so kind, considerate, and eager to work with us. I really appreciated her asking upfront which flowers we absolutely wanted and which she should stay away from. She was honest about certain materials being harder to work with since our wedding would fall under a hot day, but she was also incredibly flexible to consider anything we had our hearts set on. She took a lot of great care in making sure her installments aligned with our vision, and she was intentional in picking out alternative options due to budget or weather constraints. Overall, she was very knowledgeable, responsive, and organized! And the flowers? STUNNINGLY beautiful. Rachel truly went above and beyond in every single aspect of our work, especially the bouquets, our grounded arch, and the table layouts. I had asked to incorporate calamansi fruits and branches in the guest table decor (brought by my family), and she and her team worked so hard to accommodate my request. Everything looked so lovely and perfectly in line with what we wanted! I would absolutely recommend her for any wedding or event. I finally had a chance to visit for a Tarzana Music Night last week. What a fun event! Because the weather was being forecasted to be cool with the potential of rain, the event was held indoors. Things were comfortable, but we were in close quarters with the other attendees. The sound was great and the performances were a lot of fun. I was primarily there to see a good friend perform, but I also had the chance to see some other talented musicians. I think each one was a singer songwriter, and I enjoyed each performance. Each one of the people that was working at the venue, which I imagine may have been on a volunteer basis, was friendly and a lot of fun. Normally the music nights are held outdoors, and I can imagine that most of the year, it is a lot of fun being in the open air.

I saw a few people brought in their own food, chilled out and ate while they watched the live band. They do have a very small amount of drinks, chips, and cookies for sale at a stand but thats it so if you don't want junk food def bring what you do want. They do have an indoor bathroom. PARKING - Def uber/LYFT to them. There are only a few spots in the back you can get to from the side street (not from Ventura blvd) and thats it! So do yourself a favor and get a ride. Lyft must know about this place because the driver knew exactly where to meet us in the back when we booked our return. For us it was a calm but fun summer evening hang outside! I don't know what its like without a band playing but hope I get a chance to check that out too.
