They ruined parts of our yard during the installation and, unbelievably, cleaned concrete tools and dumped the waste directly onto our lawn. Now we're left with dead grass and hardened concrete patches that we have to deal with ourselves. No one followed up after the job, and no one seems to care that they left a mess behind. There are plastic shavings all over my yard from cutting material where my dogs are. Completely unprofessional from beginning to end. When all these issues were brought up to the manager Ryan, the excuses were never ending. Not once did he take accountability for the workmanship or customer service. Save yourself the frustration and go with a company that actually communicates and respects your property.

I researched the paint used and it is paint that requires primer on Aluminum....my gate is aluminum. I would never recommend this Ass-Clown to do work for me ever again. He was sloppy, did not communicate with me, and as mentioned in the earlier review, he cancelled work dates on me a few times. Now I find out that he cut corners on the application of paint on my job. If you ask me..............AVOID-AVOID-AVOID-AVOID..... He waited patiently while I collected other quotes and discussed with my husband. We went with George because of his excellent communication, he showed us plans/what to expect, and is honest. George and his assistant Saul did an terrific job on our railing project. They showed up on time, on the day they said they were going to be at our house, and completed the project in a timely manner. We are thrilled with the result! George Filipe and the 808 F&R expert painter did a top quality job on the Oahu Cemetery fence…read moresurrounding the Chun Afong plots. We have been taking care of this fence for 20 years. It has never looked so good after painting. As you can see from the photos, the fence has spearheads, balls, and multiple rails, making the painting process more difficult. 808 F&R carefully prepared the fence, removing rust bubbles and grinding down the the metal where needed. We flew over from California for a couple of weeks. 808 F&R was able to start and complete the job while we were on Oahu. You can see their work for yourself on the right hand side of Nuuanu heading out of Honolulu.

I'll post a picture of the additional rail tomorrow. Update: Safety inspection for senior fall prevention was done for the house. The hand rails for the steps are definitely sturdy and well constructed but home health pointed out the gap between the two base of the rail was too wide. Someone could slip under the rail and off the steps. Feina did ask if I wanted one or two rails during the estimate but I didn't know why - so I said one.

I got quotes from 5 other companies, and when it came down to it, their pricing was in the ball park, but the difference was the added level of value they provided above and beyond what the other companies quoted. Chris, the estimator, had multiple conversations with me about options and ways to keep cost down. All the way to the install date, he told me that I could make adjustments and that Josh, the installer would also advise and help make the best on site decisions. Additionally, R5 was able to do things that the other guys wouldn't do. We had some shrubs that needed to get removed, and they did it as part of the quote and did not charge extra for that service. When Josh arrived, I met him and we discussed all the details. He also showed me how I could remove and rebuild sections in the event I had to have part of it taken off. (there is an easement on part of the property). Josh told me he would get the job done in a day. He started at about noon, and he worked until almost 7pm to make it happen. Everyone was pleasant and easy to work with. As for the fence, it looks top notch, my wife loves it, and my kid is safe!
