Phrases aside at the end of the day, UpRight Fencing is the best fencing company I have worked with period. Prior to contacting UpRight, I literally contacted the list of best fencing companies in Hawaii that pulled up on Google and Yelp. Each other company was either rude, condescending or refused to service my area or type of job because it was considered too inconvenient or too small. The experience every other company I contacted was horrible. You would think that especially here in Hawaii a business would not look at the size of the immediate job, and more towards the long term relationship and risidual referrals that could result out of it. But unfortunately it seems that once many businesses get to a certain size they forget their roots. Not UpRight Fencing. UpRight explained to me the circumstances with time and travel and figured out a way to fix our fence. There is nothing more assuring than having a licensed contractor working on your home. You know it will get done, and you know it will get done right, UpRight! (Had to add that phrase in there). The crew was extremely respectful, and mindful of noise, debris and neighboring properties. And what was even more impressive was how they found our exact property line and made sure that our fence was properly set like exactly on it. When I first started calling around I never would have thought that I would be so happy with the results. I honestly thought it was just the "contractors culture" to talk so disrespectfully to people. UpRight Fencing literally changed the way I look at the fencing industry and gave me hope that there are still good people out there putting up fences for local people like myself. First we were quoted with 2-3 days. Day 3 came around and the crew didn't show up until 2pm and after a few hours left without a word. 3 days and still an incomplete fence. When calling the foreman who was supposedly in charge of the crew, he had no idea they left! When I asked for an explanation, I was told they had "prior commitments"! The end result was 5 days and still a terrible job. They treated our property with no respect at all. They ruined parts of our yard during the installation and, unbelievably, cleaned concrete tools and dumped the waste directly onto our lawn. Now we're left with dead grass and hardened concrete patches that we have to deal with ourselves. No one followed up after the job, and no one seems to care that they left a mess behind. There are plastic shavings all over my yard from cutting material where my dogs are. Completely unprofessional from beginning to end. When all these issues were brought up to the manager Ryan, the excuses were never ending. Not once did he take accountability for the workmanship or customer service. Save yourself the frustration and go with a company that actually communicates and respects your property.

They were not the lowest but my mom had a good vibe with Suli so we went ahead with them. From start to finish she kept raving about how impressed she was with their work ethic and professionalism. They did an excellent job on the wall(s) and, aside from their warm aloha and "care for kupuna", what she appreciated most was how they were very good about clearing out the bricks and cleaning everything up! I researched the paint used and it is paint that requires primer on Aluminum....my gate is aluminum. I would never recommend this Ass-Clown to do work for me ever again. He was sloppy, did not communicate with me, and as mentioned in the earlier review, he cancelled work dates on me a few times. Now I find out that he cut corners on the application of paint on my job. If you ask me..............AVOID-AVOID-AVOID-AVOID..... There are better providers out there.............take your time and find the RIGHT guy to do the job. I would NEVER use Fusion Art 808.......never...never.

George on the other hand, called me the same day and stopped by my house soon after to take some measurements. He provided me with a quote with all costs broken down. He waited patiently while I collected other quotes and discussed with my husband. We went with George because of his excellent communication, he showed us plans/what to expect, and is honest. George and his assistant Saul did an terrific job on our railing project. They showed up on time, on the day they said they were going to be at our house, and completed the project in a timely manner. We are thrilled with the result! It has never looked so good after painting. As you can see from the photos, the fence has spearheads, balls, and multiple rails, making the painting process more difficult. 808 F&R carefully prepared the fence, removing rust bubbles and grinding down the the metal where needed. We flew over from California for a couple of weeks. 808 F&R was able to start and complete the job while we were on Oahu. Absolutely amazing work. Father and daughter team work together as the father (the worker) speaks very little English. She translates for him and if she is not on the job site, she is only a phone call or text away. She answers immediately. (Incidentally, I didn't have to use this option except when it was time to pay; I didn't want him to leave before I paid him.). And the father is the hardest worker I have ever seen.
