I've had Canady's Pest Control for a couple of years and recently canceled my services with them…read more Canady's had good service for a while, but lately their service SUCKS!!! ONE STAR IS TOO MUCH. They had finally gotten rid of the bugs, but then technicians changed. Bugs came back. I called the office, the lady that answered the phone immediately threw the technician, who is no longer there, under the bus. Stating that the previous technician mixed chemicals that she shouldn't have mixed together. I then told her that I had looked at the notes from all of the visits that had been made and all the techs used the same products, but there were two main differences. 1) New techs did not use all the chemicals in the same trip. They split up the chemicals between quarterly visits. 2) MOST IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE - techs didn't use the same QUANTITY, (AMOUNT), of the chemicals. Some of the amounts were cut more than half. I said well let's talk about mosquito service, because the same tech didn't provide this service, so you can't use the excuse, "tech mixed products that she shouldn't have." The last mosquito service was done on a day that it just had finished pouring rain. Tech didn't ask if I wanted to postpone the service since it was wet. Tech just performed the mosquito spay. When I ask the tech what service they were out to do, they replied mosquito. I said that I didn't want it done today because everything was wet. Tech said, well I've already done the spray and it's not going to rain anymore. About an hour later, more rain came, so money wasted. The lady at the office put me on hold for a few minutes and when she returned to the phone she told me that the lower quantity of products were the "NEW" standard and that this would not change. I said, "so your company got rid of the bugs at my house, now you cut the amount of product you use and the bugs come back. Basically, I just need to get used to having bugs again." The lady at Canady's again stated that this was the "NEW STANDARD." I told her to cancel my services. She proceeded with the standard statement, "well if anything changes," and that's as far as I let her get with that statement. I said "if anything changes, I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK TO CANADY'S." I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, unless you want to pay money and keep the bugs. Also, Liz if you happen to come across this, DON'T GO BACK!!!!

I had the pleasure of working with Genesis and Bryant on a major rodent problem going down around…read moremy condo and the complex itself down in Myrtle Beach. Within hours Genesis dispatched Bryant to my location and he performed a full exterior and interior inspection and determined that not only had rodents been in my unit, but he was able to identify and nail down exactly where the rodents were getting into the actual building itself and the numerous entry points where they were reeking havoc. We are currently working on getting a blanket agreement with our condo association to get all of our buildings serviced, and have all entry points excluded from any future entry. This was the ONLY company i spoke with that was actually willing to address the root problem, instead of recommending minor, band aid solutions, and trying to take my money. If you want to have your rodent problem be a thing of the past, look no further. Cheers.

Feeling ripped off! BEWARE when you sign up with Bug-N-A-Rug! I used them for three months and…read morenoticed no improvement with my spiders, roaches and other bugs. Consequently I decided to cancel service. This is when I was told that I signed a six-month commitment and that to cancel I had to pay $90. This was never explained to me and I didn't catch it in the fine print. I'm feeling ripped off and extremely disappointed. So be very careful if you sign up that you're on the hook for more than you realize. I don't recommend using Bug n a Rug based on lack of results, but if you do be aware of your financial commitment.
