Within hours Genesis dispatched Bryant to my location and he performed a full exterior and interior inspection and determined that not only had rodents been in my unit, but he was able to identify and nail down exactly where the rodents were getting into the actual building itself and the numerous entry points where they were reeking havoc. We are currently working on getting a blanket agreement with our condo association to get all of our buildings serviced, and have all entry points excluded from any future entry. This was the ONLY company i spoke with that was actually willing to address the root problem, instead of recommending minor, band aid solutions, and trying to take my money. I had an appointment 7/15 with a window 9:00am - 12:00pm. At 1130am I called and rescheduled for 7/22. On 7/16 I received a bill for services on 7/15. I called and asked what that was? I was told that sometimes they get a head of themselves to get the paperwork finished, don't worry. The same call I asked for pricing for a flea treatment. When I was told it was $399 (for a 1000 square foot house), I said forget it, I'll get foggers for that. Today I waited from 8:00am to 11:00am which was the window I was quoted. At 10:45am I called to see if the tech was going to make it today. I was told that I had cancelled the appointment (they mistook the quote for flea treatment and "I'll do it myself with foggers"). I got pretty testy, which is not usual for me. I asked the phone person how can they screw up so many times, when their service used to be so great? She told me that Michael, the technician, had provided service on 7/15. There is no way that happened. I am practically an invalid and stay in a room that is 3 walls of windows overlooking the parking for my house. In addition, I have a very loud dog whose mission in life is to let me know when there is someone within 100 feet of the house. I am waiting for the manager to call me. My point is, I have been blown off twice and being billed for a service I did not get. If I could give them zero stars I would.

1 Star -- Deceptive, sloppy, and financially damaging experience…read more My family had an absolutely terrible experience with Terminix, and I want to warn other consumers -- especially seniors -- to be extremely careful. A Terminix representative came to my father's home to sign him up for a drainage system. My father, who is a senior citizen, handed the rep his bank card because the rep said he was setting up automatic payments directly to Terminix. What the rep actually did was sign my dad up for a GreenSky loan -- something my father did NOT know, did NOT agree to, and did NOT understand he was being enrolled in. There was never any clear disclosure that a third-party loan was being opened in his name. My father didn't even know the loan existed until letters started arriving in the mail weeks later. Because of this deception, my dad felt he had no choice but to pay on an account he did not authorize. For over a year, GreenSky drafted money from his bank account -- and many months they drafted twice (the regular payment and a late fee), even though the loan itself was set up behind his back by a Terminix rep. To finally escape this mess, on September 8th, my father paid $2,658.58 in a lump sum just to be done with it -- after already paying monthly for a full year. The day before, on September 7th, another $187 was drafted from his account. Then, on October 10th, GreenSky corporate emailed saying that fees were being waived, the account had been adjusted to a credit balance, and a refund check would be sent. We thought the ordeal was finally over. But on November 14th, my father received yet another email -- this time saying his GreenSky account was late. And if the financial deception wasn't bad enough, the actual work done was also nothing like what the rep showed or promised. What they installed looked far cheaper and completely different from the demonstration. Terminix: Damaged my dad's air duct Left plastic, trash, and debris all over the side of the house Walked away from the job leaving a mess and zero cleanup Delivered work that did not match the advertised system This entire experience -- from the misleading financing, to a year of double drafts, to a forced lump-sum payment, to a promised refund, to STILL being told the account is "late," to the poor-quality work and mess -- has been a nightmare for my father and our family. Terminix needs to take responsibility for their representatives' actions and the harm they cause, especially to seniors who trust what they're being told. Based on our experience, we will never use Terminix again and strongly warn others to think twice before signing anything with them.
