I used to see Linda, who has retired in the past year, but I've consulted with Dolores who is great (I never saw her for an exam because she's married to my former boss which is just a little too close for comfort!). Since Linda retired I've been going to Jennifer, who is around my age, easy to talk to and very, very thorough. She always makes sure she knows my exact medical history and if there's ever a question she takes the extra minute or so to go into the files and double check. That, ladies, is the sign of a great healthcare professional. Hopefully she stays with the practice for good because I'm very happy with my care there.

Now I need to get in touch because they billed my insurance using the wrong code which is causing problems, and they're still not answering their phone. I also was underwhelmed with the annual physical, because once I got home I realized that one of the usual components simply didn't happen. Anyway, there are other health care providers out there who will answer their phones. In the future I will be going to those instead. At this point I guess I'm going to have to go back in-person to get them to fix their own mistake, which I'm not happy about at all.

Practicing for over 20 years in NJ, Dr. Chao is a University of Penn doctor board certified as an OB/GYN. She is consistently honest, caring, open, and approachable. She knows her audience, taking the time to get to know you and will listen to your concerns, offer options, discuss your care and answer your questions patiently. While I haven't had any major problems, she has dealt with my yearly examinations with consistently meticulous service, and as a primary care physician, has helped out with prescriptions I have needed and dealt with infections, problems with protein in my urine and a scary "i might be pregnant" episode in which I had a momentary lapse of reason, swallowing too many BCP at once, patiently reminding me that's a bad idea and why, and having me in for a real pregnancy test so that i could be "really really" sure i wasn't going to have triplets. I will admit to one down side: she's incredibly busy so her schedules are often tight. Wait....two: she's incredibly hard to get on the phone unless it's an emergency. Pinelands OB/GYN has a "soup nazi" front desk staff and nursing staff with the special nack for keeping all non-emergent questions in que. But the up side of this is that when you do leave a message requesting a call back, it's usually her if you have medical questions, and they can refill your prescriptions within 24 hours. I give her 5 stars for integrity, professionalism and knowing her stuff about more than just her major field of study/residency.

Enter Dr. Mitchell-WIlliams. She has been my "woman concerns" doctor for quite a few years now and she's absolutely the best. I'd recommend her to anyone. *Warning* I just here on Saturday, 5/11 for a termination due to severe hyperemesis at 9 weeks…read morepregnant. I just left the ER at Jefferson Einstein last night at 11 because I had to get another D&C to remove RPOC (retained products of conception) that were still in my uterus after the surgical procedure at the Cherry Hill Women's center. My white blood cell count was also suggestive of infection, so I was receiving doxycycline via IV. Also of note, there is no use trying to call the nurse line on the discharge paperwork they give you as the phone number shown on the paper is not a working number (pictured below.) I was rushed to the ER for chills, severe lower back pain, and severe abdominal cramping such that I could not sit or drive. The 800 mg ibuprofen they prescribe at the clinic did not touch the pain, so I was offered oxycodone in the ER. If you don't want to risk this happening to you, I highly recommend trying to have the termination done in a hospital where they are more thorough and held to higher standards. The doctor told me he performs abortions on nearly 40 women in one day. It's not worth risking your life to come here. Someone called me from an unknown number claiming to be from the clinic and said she'd seen my review on here. She asked me to text her a picture of my driver's license to get a copy of my medical record. I didn't feel comfortable texting that to someone I don't know is from the clinic, so I refused. She then told me I couldn't have the copy emailed to me directly. She then told me that she was feeling threatened by me. She had not acknowledged the mistake, she had not apologized, and she offered nothing to make this right, let alone show concern for my health. At that point, I realized that I was not going to get anywhere with her, so I hung up the phone. I would not recommend these clinics and would instead suggest Planned Parenthood. Retained pregnancy products can cause septicemia or at worst turn into a cancerous tumor, so it's imperative that you go somewhere that values your health enough to properly do the procedure (or admit and apologize for an indisputable mistake.) I've already filed a complaint with the NJ Department of Health.

Over the summer I drive 2.5 hours home from the shore, got to my appointment 15/20 moms early, and the Dr/Whomever was administering this test (which they only do once a month), had left early. No phone call, apology, just that, "oh s/he left early"z Also, it's a shame the woman at the desk aren't more helpful, understanding, or better yet human, otherwise this office might be alright.

If you want to re-fill your RX, they make you make an appointment "because they don't know you." When you go, it's nothing more than a glorified drugs-for-money exchange. They look at you, give you an RX and a bill. I finally gave up and found a new practice. They could care less about you.
