Did not know what to expect but the kindness of the nurses, the front desk woman, and the doctor herself were amazing.

*Warning* I just here on Saturday, 5/11 for a termination due to severe hyperemesis at 9 weeks pregnant. I just left the ER at Jefferson Einstein last night at 11 because I had to get another D&C to remove RPOC (retained products of conception) that were still in my uterus after the surgical procedure at the Cherry Hill Women's center. My white blood cell count was also suggestive of infection, so I was receiving doxycycline via IV. Also of note, there is no use trying to call the nurse line on the discharge paperwork they give you as the phone number shown on the paper is not a working number (pictured below.) I was rushed to the ER for chills, severe lower back pain, and severe abdominal cramping such that I could not sit or drive. The 800 mg ibuprofen they prescribe at the clinic did not touch the pain, so I was offered oxycodone in the ER. If you don't want to risk this happening to you, I highly recommend trying to have the termination done in a hospital where they are more thorough and held to higher standards. The doctor told me he performs abortions on nearly 40 women in one day. It's not worth risking your life to come here. Someone called me from an unknown number claiming to be from the clinic and said she'd seen my review on here. She asked me to text her a picture of my driver's license to get a copy of my medical record. I didn't feel comfortable texting that to someone I don't know is from the clinic, so I refused. She then told me I couldn't have the copy emailed to me directly. She then told me that she was feeling threatened by me. She had not acknowledged the mistake, she had not apologized, and she offered nothing to make this right, let alone show concern for my health. At that point, I realized that I was not going to get anywhere with her, so I hung up the phone. I would not recommend these clinics and would instead suggest Planned Parenthood. Retained pregnancy products can cause septicemia or at worst turn into a cancerous tumor, so it's imperative that you go somewhere that values your health enough to properly do the procedure (or admit and apologize for an indisputable mistake.) I've already filed a complaint with the NJ Department of Health. read more

I would give this zero stars if I could. My experience here was absolutely terrible. Every nurse I talked to gave me a different answer about how far along I was and they were all telling me different things. Of course they made me pay over $1,000 co pay just to deny me. One doctor is telling me yes while another one is telling me no. The staff were completely awful and not helpful during this hard situation. No one had compassion for me and I felt like I was just getting the run around. The front desk staff were extremely rude too. I've never felt so terrible, this situation was already hard enough and this clinic really just made it so much worse for me. read more

Office staff will hang up on your own the phone and are overall rude and unprofessional

They were very nice on the phone. It's easy to schedule an apt and get one fast. I can't give it anymore then a 4 as I ended up not needing their services. This review is based off of their customer service and ability to serve women in a quick and timely fashion. The only thing I would change is allowing a spouse in with you to appointments. Some women who come here aren't getting an abortion just to get one. Some women are coming for medical reasons and it can be very traumatic and hard for/on them. Having a spouse for support with you during these times is crucial to womens health and welfare when it comes this decisions of these matters. read more

So many things wrong with this clinic. My girlfriend is traumatized. Too many things to talk about in one review. But the most important thing is she has been calling the clinic for over two weeks, asking for her medical documents and they have refused. They hang up the phone or multiple staff members have simply told us that they can't give us any information, or someone will have to call us back and then they never do. She has been asking for over two weeks now, she wants every document that is in her file or has to do with her abortion. She wants every single document, every single consent form, and any video that was taken because it was a CFP fellowship trainee who performed the abortion, yes a trainee...They physically hurt her when she was getting her cervix dilated she screamed it hurts, It hurts and the nurses told her it's OK just a few more sticks (in her cervix). Cherry Hill women's Center is the equivalent of a slaughter house, as you can tell from almost every yelp or Google review, even indeed reviews from the workers they are not professional and they only care about money not the women. My girlfriend regrets her abortion and wishes. She never did this. She wishes she had our baby, our baby was five months. we want to get our baby back for a funeral and two days after we called, we spoke with Roxanne and Amanda but they told us that they didn't have any logs or information on where our daughter was sent. They told us that they couldn't tell us where she was sent. Even though we begged for over a week when this first happened almost 3 months ago. And we still have been begging for three months to get any information on where our daughter was sent so we can try to get her back from whatever research center she was sent to. This woman center does not care about women, they do not care about patients and they only care about money. It's time for people to wake up and see what's really going on here. Stop breaking the law Cherry Hill women's center, stop lying to us Amanda, give Anna all of her documents, give her all of her consent forms. Give her whatever video you took of the abortion, and give us the information that we need to know where you sent our beautiful daughter. It has been over two weeks by law, You need to send her the medical documents, she requested every single thing, is this clear enough? What are you not understanding? Because I think we were pretty clear when we called two days after the abortion saying that we wanted our daughter's body. Now we're being very clear saying that we want every single thing that is in her file. We will not be waiting two weeks. We will seek legal action if we do not get a response. read more

Came in for an appt that was at 9 am. It's now 1:50 and I still have yet to be seen by a doctor. I would've never came here if I knew they made us wait this long to even be spoken to. What's the point of making appts ? Shouldn't there just be walk ins then? The only nice person here is the security guard at the damn door. read more

Let me just start by saying the second you step in here, you're met with comfort. The security guard is the first man you see when checking in, and even he was kind. The receptionists go above and beyond, answer any and all questions, and are there for any support you may need. Most women in here are already going through one of their toughest days, and from the moment you step into the clinic you're instantly met with emotional relief. There was one male nurse during my first visit, and he was funny and explained everything to the last dot and took time to answer any questions and concerns. From there on out I was only met by women. The absolute most generous, careful, patient, and sweet women. They gave me the option to have everything explained, or to have a heads up on what everything was going to feel like and how the overall experience would be. The day of my surgery I was given my own nurse and doula for preparation. They felt like my friends. They provided me with nothing but reassurance, comfort, care, and anything and everything else I asked for. My doula and nurse made my experience the true reason I'm leaving this review. I'm so young and live in a state where my rights are resigned. I had a prior experience at another clinic that was completely swept from my memory after the day I spent with my nurse and doula who let me know that everything I was going through and doing, was at the end of the day the right and okay because I was the one making this decision. From there on out my visit was uncomfortable physically, but not once was my hand not held. Not once was my pain not explained and immediately addressed. Not once did I feel alone. My doctor, anesthesiologist, and nurses were professional, checked in on me before during and after, and were there to do nothing but their above and beyond job. I can't not reiterate it enough, if you are reading this, no matter who you are or what you are deciding, this is the place to go. Cherry hill Women's Center is a great place. They treat you with respect and dignity. After being denied by another facility and expressing my concerns to them they assured me that everything was going work well. Everyone I encountered here was so sweet and compassionate. This place is horrible. They played salsa music while in the waiting room, they are very unprofessional and give false information. Make sure you call at least 3 times leading up to your appointment because they will act like you have no idea what you're talking about. The staff members at CHWC are caring compassionate and friendly. They provide services that few others do in the region. They are a legitimate service provider in SJ unlike some others that you may end up calling and finding out can't help you with what you need. There's a large family waiting room and people always telling you what's happening throughout the process. You feel well informed. read more

Yesterday I had an appointment for a surgical abortion. From beginning to end my experience was incredible. Everyone is super kind and helpful and if you are at all nervous or not sure where to go this is the place! Very clean and I felt 100% secure and safe trusting the clinic to do this procedure for me. This was the worst. Yes, the staff is friendly but friend has an appointment at 9 and at 150 still waiting to be seen. Everytime ashe asked.when she was going back they said 10 minutes. Despite one staff member this place is a total failure. My partner and I were asked to be at the office at 7:30AM, she was not taken into surgery until 1:30!! Many other people arrived after us and were helped and released well before she was. The office staff spent their time shuffling papers and bickering at each other. If you are looking into options planning, look elsewhere. This place runs completely backwards. read more

I spent a whole day at Cherry Hill Women's Center and I was able to see how friendly and warm the staff is from the call center, front desk to the ultrasound techs, nurses, pathologists, anesthesiologist, and doctor. They all want the best care for every pregnant person that walks through their doors and provide it in a judgement free way. They are busy but they truly care about comprehensive care for each individual. Additionally, if you have children and your companion has to watch them during your appointment, they have a family area that is separate from where the people waiting for their abortions are. The area is family friendly with videos playing and toys for children to use while they wait for their family member - just ask the staff about it! read more

HORRIBLE experience and staff less to be desired. My best friend came in for an appointment at 715am,January 22 2021.she was the last to be called for her procedure at 2pm. Due to complications she had to be rushed to the ER. Upon leaving the clinic her glasses were taken from her face just before the anesthesia around 2pm. At 230 she was on a Gurnee getting placed in an ambulance. She asked the emt for her glasses who confirmed they were not in her bag. She has called and have only been talking to Jay in the call center who works remote. She has called 3 times and no one has been able to assist and Jay has been only emailing to the actual clinic. She can't see without her glasses. 3 days later they suggest to call the hospital who confirmed again upon admittance to the triage, there were no glasses, they called the center and was told they had them and someone could pick them up at the clinic.. We have been trying for a week now to aquire these glasses and getting no where. Not to mention a complicated procedure which turned into something greater, there was no follow up call, no check in to see how she was doing or followup from the countless attempts to get the glasses after being told there would be call backs. These glass were over $400 and not even about the value at this point, MY FRIEND CAN'T SEE! The clinic is not helping in making this right, or correcting a simple mistake to replace what was taken or misplaced in error. Today we finally get transfered to the actual clinic after 20 minutes on the phone repeatedly going back and forth about the situation with NO SOLUTION and my friend STILL CANT SEE. let's look at the big picture, a traumatic experience has now continued and due to recovery my friend cant go replace her frames and we still have no resolution to this problem. No one there seems to care or be concerned with either the procedure OR the fact there was an issue that has occurred. Instead they want to place blame on the EMT or the ER. But missing that she never arrived in either care with the glasses!. Horrible customer service. Horrible lack of empathy and absolute disgrace for such a sensitive time for a women to have to go through. Regardless of the reason of the procedure, how about the fact there was an EMERGENCY and she had to be rushed to the ER. Get my friend her glass or reimburse for them to be replaced. read more

It was really difficult to drive by the people standing and yelling outside, but once I got in there the staff made me feel safe and cared for. This place is busy but they are warm and do their best to make you feel special. The ladies there kept checking on me throughout my visit. When you come into the clinic, make sure you are double counting your cash prior to the appointment. And bring exact cash!! They do not count the cash correctly, nor do they want to, shown by barely separating new bills, and they just throw a receipt at you. Services when you enter the back are remarkable, compassionate, and all of the staff are knowledgeable. read more

This place is horrible. Unprofessional staff. Extremely long wait times & ghetto environment. POOR communication!! No information was clearly given prior to my appointment that I scheduled a week in advance! I got one follow-up call the evening before surgery advising me of the price. No prep instructions, no address or directions, no info that I needed an escort, no nothing! When I arrived, the staff was rude & the security guard had a heavy stench of alcohol on his breath! NO privacy inside what so ever! Everyone can hear your private conversations & Staff talks about patients personal info so loudly that everyone in the waiting area can hear. I cannot even put into words how grateful I am to the staff of Cherry Hill Women's Center. The amount of kindness and respect that I was greeted with was astounding. I had been struggling with my emotions in the days leading up to my procedure, but I felt completely at ease with every staff member whom I met. They are caring, compassionate and professional, and ensured that I was comfortable both physically and emotionally. I had no issues after my surgery, and barely even felt any pain during my recovery. These people have become my heroes, and I would recommend this place to anyone in need of their care. read more

This is a great service and is run as efficiently as possible. If there is one suggestion I could make to you it would be to get as early an appointment time as you can. This does have potential to be an all day experience but the staff work hard to be very quick while being incredibly thorough as well. I hope you are seated for this one. This has been the worst experience I have ever had in a doctor office type setting. I've always had anxiety calling people and places and making appointments and the Cherry Hill Women's Center is exactly why. I have never in my life been on the phone with a single facility so many times to try and straighten out concerns, issues, and questions for assurance that everything would be OK come appointment time. COME TO FIND EVERYTHING WAS NOT OK. On the top of my head I can't count the number of times I have called and received extremely incorrect and misinformation. They told me I'd be fine to not have surgery (I went in prepared just in case) and BEHOLD I needed surgery!! They could not even process a referral correctly even days prior to my appointment so their incompetence caused me to have to pay out of pocket when I have insurance!!!! A lot of me thinks that they did not put the referral in correctly on purpose since I spoke to my doctor's office and they had the correct codes. The girl on the phone the night before said I would be OK, and they would see me anyway, so I come in hungry, thirsty and waiting just for the lady at the front desk to say NO YOU HAVE TO RESCHEDULE!!! Oh yeah so I can be way worse off and have a more serious procedure or be in serious pain like some of the girls there...OK NO!!! I would really like to know what planet they plucked the people they have operating their phone systems from!! I am 100% serious!!! I told every single person I came across that I would never come back to this place for anyone or anything. The Cherry Hill Women's Center advertises "caring" "compassionate" but felt like the place was anything but those things. The nurses and doctors that handled me were kind and friendly, otherwise I felt like myself and all the other girls in there were nothing more than a herd of sheep. I had a nurse say "we like to get them in and out." I retorted "I'm sure..." Every time I had a question or concern I was told "we hear that often" "it happens all the time" "sorry that happened to you" SO when there is an obvious reoccurring issue, I guess they just shrug it off! I mean...who are we to them for them to really care anyway? Just an assembly line of broken hearts, bleeding bodies, and torn emotion! I unfortunately had to have an abortion recently, which was a difficult experience for me, but thanks to the staff at the Cherry Hill Women's Center, the day went as best as it could. The person that I spoke to on the phone when I made my appointment was so kind to me - she was very patient in answering the thousands of questions that I had and explained everything to me thoroughly. The day of the procedure, I was really nervous, but the staff was genuinely welcoming towards me. The woman that did my bloodwork was so kind to me & another woman that did my counseling was so warm & she explained everything to me so that I could feel prepared. When I woke up in the recovery room, the nurses were attentive and compassionate. If any of my friends or family are ever in need of an abortion, I would absolutely want to take them here so that they could have the best experience possible during a rough time like this.
