I have been with this practice for 13 years, and am leaving. This is not because of one thing, it is because of several small things. They used to care about their patients. I delivered my high risk babies with the doctors and NPs who USED to work here, and no longer work here. They caught my postpartum depression on a form I filled out when I didn't notice it and ran after me in the parking lot to make sure I didn't leave before they talked to me about it. They knew my kids, my mother, grandmother, and cared about me. Fast forward 10 years to 2022, the practice is now managed by Axia and they call me excitedly a week before my annual too schedule my mammogram in their office because "they can do it conveniently in the office now on the same day!" Oh, and it is covered by my insurance too! Not true, I get a surprise bill for more than $500 for something that I have never had to pay for before. But when I question it, it is not their problem. I tried to fight the payment, but eventually give in and pay the bill through their collection company, Apex...or so I thought. Slowly, over the years, all of the doctors I knew there, except one NP, left. A few months ago, when I brought up some symptoms of peri menopause during my annual visit, I was handed a 20 page pack of photocopies of herbal supplements without a single explanation, sent for blood tests, never given a follow up call or appointment, and sent a bill. I was left to fend for myself without any directions, help or instructions. The only thing I was given was a bill for a $20 copay. Shame on me for bringing up a problem during an annual visit. Not that the problem was actually addressed. So, I have decided to leave the practice for one that treats me like my health actually matters and not like I am just some billable patient number. And when I tell this to the nurse at my most recent final visit to remove my IUD, all of a sudden I have a complication with the IUD removal requiring a complicated procedure, and now the billing department cares about an unpaid mammogram bill from 3 years ago (which I believe I paid). They tried to settled it with my insurance and they said that the claim is too old now to process it, but had they tried to process it back then with an appeal, it may have been paid. They even said, "but you received a payment from your insurance for out of network coverage." That payment was $71. Three days before my scheduled procedure, they come to me to pay the bill, THREATENING that my now complicated procedure will not happen unless I pay the balance, which I believe that I have paid. I found the proof of payment in my email, call their collection company, only to find out that their system bills for 2 different practices, and that the payment I thought I made back then, was applied to a different practice, and all this time, they haven't tried to collect on this bill. I run a business, and I understand how A/R and collections can be the worst part of maintaining a healthy bottom line. But every part of this situation was handled improperly. Not once during this process was I seen or treated like a human. Could I pay this bill? Absolutely. Should I have ever had to? No. Mammograms are a covered test. I should have never been told to have it at their location and that it would be covered by my insurance. They should have made sure of that before making such a claim and they should have stood by their claim when I received a bill in error. Their billing department should have filed an appeal to my insurance in a timely manner to make sure that it was properly covered. When I came for my annual visit and asked a question about symptoms I was having, I should have been given the time of day, not a stack of photocopies. I should have received a followup call after my blood test results came in. At the very least, I should have been given REAL advice and HELP. All of this is enough to give the practice a 1 star review. What I find most distasteful is how they are using a necessary procedure as means to collect on a bill I should never had had to pay in the first place. Now I am seeking a second opinion on whether I actually need this procedure at all, or if it is just their way of trying to milk additional charges out of me before I go. Do not entrust your health to this practice. The physicians are very inexperienced with mediocre clinical skills and judgement. I was told I needed to get an IUD removed that I'd had for over 10 years, and that I should get an ultrasound to make sure I still had it, which I did. I then made an appointment to get the IUD removed. When I arrived for the appointment, the doctor told me, "you know, you really don't need to get the IUD taken out." WHAT? Then why did I get the ultrasound and what was I doing there that day? They had wasted my time and money and displayed bizarre clinical judgement. That same physician is now their HRT expert, even though she has no certification to back up her expertise. But she is not an anomally--I have seen other physicians there and they all have poor judgement and have been trained to maximize company profits. On a recent well visit with a different doctor, the doctor asked, "how are you doing?" I honestly answered that I thought I might be getting a yeast infection. "Do you want me to check that?" She asked. sure, I said. Had I not been at the doctor, I would have waited a week or two and then purchased a $20 OTC treatment if I still felt something was wrong, but as long as she was offering it seemed to make sense. What the doctor did not tell me was that checking to see if I had an infection was beyond the scope of a well visit, and that she would be charging me for a separate problem visit requiring a $50 copay at the same time I was getting my well free well visit, and that the tests for checking on this nonexistent yeast infection cost $500! This is both unscrupulous and unethical, but standard practice for Cherry Hill OB/Gyn. I have since switched to another practice. read more

There are no words to explain how wonderful this practice is. Every single provider is amazing. They're all knowledgeable. I never left an appointment unhappy. I had a higher risk pregnancy with my second child. I have a complicated stomach issue, as well as gestational diabetes. Both issues, I was consistently reassured. If it was out of their scope of practice (stomach issues), they put me in good hands of someone who cookie help me. They talked me off the ledge when my sugars seemed to be bad. But it was just my worry - things were ok. They have a wide range of personalities. They have people that will hold your hand when you need it, but they also have some stern straight shooters, which we all need... whether we want to admit it or not. I suffered from postpartum depression. And had a positive experience and was included on the decision on how I wanted to handle it. As a not pregnant patient, I've never had an issue scheduling my annual exams. My medications are always at my pharmacy, and if there's a snafoo, it's instantly fixed. I'm shocked by the negative reviews I see. And feel like those people are bitter over issues that could have been resolved, instead of becoming keyboard warriors. This practice is made of humans. Who are not perfect. And I know that I am not perfect at my job. I'm sure they would appreciate constructive criticism before giving 1 star reviews. pathetic service. very, VERY unprofessional with the customer and the service. I realize they are only there for pleasure, not because they love what they do. I waited more than 20 minutes inside the consultation room. she came over and just put her fingers inside her and that's it! you are perfect !! WTF!! I am paying for a service, you are not giving it to me for free. Absolutely pathetic service. I paid $250 for nothing! Additionally, I need to have a mammogram, they print out the prescription and then when I try to make the appointment in the same place they tell me that I did not apply for the exam because it is the first time that I am going to have a mammogram, and if I do not have insurance it is better to go to do the mammogram at a radiology place. ?? Staff is rude and unprofessional. They are defensive instead of trying to understand your problem. They added a test onto my Pap smear that I never asked for and wasn't covered by my insurance. When I called I spoke to someone that said it was their mistake and they would contact my insurance. They never did and despite going six months back and forth with this office ( I have several voicemails where I am told not to pay) , I ended up having to make payments on the amount because I started getting collection calls and I could not continue. Additionally the doctors and front desk staff don't communicate, it is always a struggle to get refills on my birth control. Good luck getting a helpful response on their patient portal. read more

At first I loved my experience at CH OB/GYN and raved about them. Then I discovered a complication with my pregnancy very late and was told by Maternal Fetal Medicine that if I did not deliver early I would run a very high risk of stillbirth. (By the way, I had complained about a series of painful symptoms throughout my pregnancy that was dismissed by all the doctors. As symptoms progressed, I accurately self diagnosed with online help at 36 weeks pregnant. I'm not particularly upset that they hadn't picked up on my many concerns because my condition is not very common, but I became very concerned with how they handled delivery.) At 36 weeks I self admitted into the hospital with severe symptoms that have not been treated at all. My suspicion of my disease was confirmed in the hospital with Maternal Fetal Medical Specialists. At this point Dr. McCrosson paid me a visit. Possibly I caught Dr. McCrosson on a very difficult day because she had been so friendly and personable with me previously. However, she gave me no more than a rushed 5 minutes of her time and (without even letting me speak) told me she refused to take the recommended advice of the high risk doctors. My care was her responsibility and her decision was to deliver at nearly 40 weeks, no earlier. My condition is rare (occurs in one tenth of one percent of pregnancies in the USA) and many doctors do not treat it appropriately. The doctor lacked all bedside manner with me at this time and would not consult with me further when I was concerned about my baby's safety (I had to speak through a series of messengers who visited me at the hospital). After days of crying and phone calls, she relented and allowed me to follow the special risk doctors' consultation, which was early delivery to prevent a very high risk of still birth (though she told me that it was irresponsible to deliver at 37 weeks and I was putting my baby in unnecessary harm). A year later I attempted to learn a little about why she was so set on her decision. The office manager suggested I set up a consultation with her and I waited for a return call. The manager called me to tell me Dr. McCrosson refused to meet with me or discuss my history over the phone. She sent me a letter saying since I questioned her past decision and showed a lack of confidence in her, I was released from their practice and should look for care immediately elsewhere. This was truly disappointing since I sincerely wanted to understand what the situation was since I have a 90% chance of having the same condition in subsequent pregnancies. I'm really disappointed that this doctor did not listen to me, did not take the time to explain things to me and did not show compassion in the moment I was told some very scary news by MFM doctors. It was nothing less than a nightmare experience. I hope she learns to listen to other medical professionals (especially high risk doctors) and take the time to appropriately talk to, listen to and care for her patients. By the way, my baby was born very healthy with no nicu time. She weighed 6 pounds, 4 ounces and had very strong vitals. I have also learned a lot about my condition and from the doctors I've consulted since, I do believe Dr. McCrosson's error could have had devastating consequences if I did not persist in requesting that she deliver early according to the specialists' advice. Her bedside manner was deplorable in the hospital and when I tried to understand her perspective she shut me down with no explanation. Doctors aren't perfect people and they can't make right decisions 100% of the time, but her behavior towards me while in the hospital, her initial adament refusal to relent to the recommendations of the high risk specialists and the desire of the mother and her unwillingness to discuss the situation a year later reflect very poorly on her. read more

Although it was fairly late in the game, they took us with open arms and so far, we are more than impressed... I love Dr. McCullen. She is so fabulous that I actually wished I had to see her more often. She is extremely personable that it totally made my whole pregnancy experience stress-free. Whenever I was freaking out about something she would know the exact thing to say to put me at ease. And for your annual checkup - I would recommended either McCullen or Terry. I have been going to Cherry Hill Ob/Gyn for probably five years now and I wouldn't switch for anything. I usually see Dr McCrossen, who has an amazing bedside manner and is exceedingly gentle in all cases. She has a limited schedule for appointments, so sometimes you have to wait a while if you really want to see her. But I have also seen Mary Ann D'Arrigo and Terry Freedman, and both have great bedside manner as well. Even though the nurses on the phone can sometimes sound quite busy, everyone is very efficient and helpful with questions (no matter how panicky one may sound). Absolutely worth your time to be a patient here--I've never been kept waiting for an appointment I've made and everything is very clean. I can't comment on the obstetrician services, as I'm not at that point in my life right now. read more

Unqualified. I gave birth to my daughter in August 2017 and had severe pelvic pain following delivery. My concerns and pain were completed pushed aside by 3 of the doctors I saw there. (While my doctor who delivered the baby was wonderful, she had left the practice shortly after). I had multiple appointments in the 18 months after delivery complaining of pelvic pain and many other symptoms I don't feel comfortable sharing here! I struggled, which led to anxiety and some depression. I had SEVERE chronic pain. I was told to go on birth control and that pelvic pain is normal, told to see a gastro doctor. Nothing more, no help and consistent pain. I eventually had enough and took my file to Jefferson OBGYN and they ordered an MRI, found a uterine disease and scheduled my hysterectomy. I am 33. This office completely missed how bad my issue was and allowed me to start to believe the pain was in my head for the past 18 months. They are not educated on pelvic pain and possible causes. They should have had the decency to refer me to a doctor better qualified to handle my case if they were unsure of my diagnosis. But to send me away time after time and say this is normal is just terrible. I was referred to this OBGYN and went to them prior to getting pregnant to see if I liked the office. Sad that the Dr. I was referred to did not deliver babies anymore. However, stayed with them and met all the Docs, midwives, nurses and so forth. Was NOT disappointed, I was able to ask questions and feel comfortable around each and everyone of them. They knew my birthing plan and did not try to talk me out of anything which was nice. They also told me about the awesome birthing classes they offered there, worth every penny. Not only was every visit great, but I was in the hospital for 3 days until we had our son and never felt pressured to make decisions, they would check on me and let me do my thing as I wanted to go natural. We hired a doula and even she was impressed with the care that I got and how they made sure I was okay and was there if I needed them and would let me try to labor whether that meant on a yoga ball, walk around or what ever the case was. I honestly even said to a friend, "I miss going to the office to my monthly visits because of how friendly and great the staff were." Also, even there billing/insurance person called without being asked I would say I was 3 months pregnant to tell me how much would have been owed once delivery was all said and done. I then asked her what if I switched to my husbands insurance and she took the time to find out and give me a call back with all the information. I was a new patient at Cherry Hill OB/GYN this past week. The check-in process was super fast (I downloaded and completed the new patient paperwork from the website). The reception staff was very friendly, and I felt at-ease. The wait time wasn't bad at all; you must keep in mind, however, that there are various providers working, so someone who checks in AFTER you may be called back BEFORE you. Don't feel overlooked. The intake staff was average to above-average --- no real complaints there. My doctor was Steven Richman, DO, and I loved him the moment he walked thru the door. Very warm and engaging, I was immediately put at-ease. He's easy to talk to, an attentive listener, and he made the "what happens next" part pretty simple. I wound up having a procedure done that day; again, he still managed to keep me at-ease and even made me laugh. I have a follow-up appt with him for my routine needs (he prioritized the procedure for me that day so that I could stop having certain, unpleasant symptoms sooner than later). Checkout is done at the front desk, so that was a breeze. For someone who is peri menopausal, like me, it was a comforting experience. I've since needed to call back on a few things; the office handles emergency appt's quite well! I also needed to reach out over a weekend, so I was put in touch with the on-call physician. I had the pleasure of speaking with Stacy McCrosson, MD ... QUICK call-back, compassionate care ... I truly could not have asked for more. read more

I can't say enough about this practice. From my very first appointment until the birth of my son this practice has gone above and beyond for my husband and myself. From dealing with preterm labor to covid 19 they made me safe at every appointment and every step of the way during my pregnancy. Every staff member, every doctor & Staci the ultrasound god had me feeling great at every appointment. My health & the health of my son was always top priority. The doctors and nurses were wonderful and I was treated very kindly by them. The lady in billing however is VERY unprofessional and EXTREMELY rude. For that reason I would never recommend this place, the lady from billing treated me very poorly and had an attitude towards me the whole time despite me acting very kindly the whole time. The looks she gave me and the way she was talking to me was very rude and disrespectful. It saddens me because I really liked the midwives there, unfortunately my experience was the worst I've ever experienced in my LIFE. I didn't realize until after reading reviews that other people have experienced the same thing. The billing lady tried lying straight to my face and scam me to pay for a visit that was covered by my insurance saying my insurance lapsed two years ago when I know for a FACT, even double checking with the insurance that was not true and they are just trying to get money. PLEASE PLEASE be very mindful of your bills. My insurance has never lapsed. After that I called another office and they told me I needed to sign a release form so they could get my information from Cherry Hill OBGYN in Mount Laurel. Cherry Hill OB told me I HAD to have an ultrasound before they let me sign a release form, and then charged me for the ultrasound and when I didn't have the full $300 on me at that time, the billing lady started to get very disrespectful. I paid what I could at the time and said to send the rest of the bill to my home, the billing lady acted as if that was unacceptable. I am now seeking legal action as this is illegal for them to do!! I would NEVER recommend this place, they tried to get me to pay for an appointment that is fully covered by my insurance! And would not let me sign a release for unless I got a completely unnecessary ultrasound. read more

The only reason why I am giving this practice two stars is because of Drs. McCullen & McCrosson. Dr. Richman said that I would never go into labor on my own as a first time mother. He also said that I was "too fat" to have a baby vaginally. He wanted me to schedule a c-section. I had no indications for a c-section. I was due around Christmas time, Gwen wanted me to schedule an induction. Again, I refused to schedule just for convenience. She also said I would not go into labor on my own. She also said that my baby would be too big to push out vaginally. He was measuring 7.8 lbs at week 38. I actually did go into labor on my due date. Labor was taking a bit longer than Gwen liked. She offered me a choice of pitocin or IV fluids. I had made it very clear I wanted a medication free delivery. I chose IV fluids. She forced me to push the baby out before I was fully dialated at 9cm. As a result I tore front to back (it took a year to heal) and my son almost died when he was born because of this. (I have my records.) At my 6 week checkup she said I should have been sectioned! There was no medical reason to section me!!! I also had issues with Terry another midwife. I had gotten Mirena and had serious complications from it. She told me they were normal. (I had severe bleeding, bruising, and mood swings.) I bled so much I was anemic. According to the side effects, this was not normal! She refused to take it out. I had to beg for her to. Please do NOT go to this practice!! read more

I can't recall ever having to wait long for my appt. I only wish they were closer to home and had weekend hours. But they do have night hours available. read more

I love all the doctors and midwives in this practice. I tell everyone how great they are. I just had my baby, and am released from going there all the time, and I miss them. I had a problematic delivery, but I felt confident that they would know what to do every step of the way, and they did. I now have a beautiful daughter. read more

I contacted Cherry Hill OBGYN for an emergency appointment I was told that the soonest available appointment was August 22. I then requested a callback from an office manager or the PA I have been seeing for 25 years. I was contacted by an A person who does not identify herself and was told to go to an urgent care. What? And urgent care that's ridiculous. So after being a loyal patient who wanted to speak to my PA I was denied that request and denied an emergency appointment. So very disappointed that I will have to find another Gyn.I hope my PA or one of the doctors in the office sees this post and knows what type of service or no service I have been given read more

This is the first review I've ever done because I generally don't like to do them. That, in and of itself, says something big. I took a few home pregnancy tests that came out faintly positive then went to urgent care to get it confirmed via blood testing. The results were positive. I was pregnant! My LMP was only the month before so I knew I was very early. This would have been my first baby so I didn't know how it all was supposed to work. I called this office a few days later to schedule my first prenatal appointment. They said they don't see anyone until 8 weeks, which was fine. A few days later I took another home pregnancy test and the lines were even lighter than before. Now that I was beginning to worry, I took a test for each of the next few mornings. They kept getting lighter. Again, this would have been my first baby so I didn't know what I was supposed to do. I called this office again telling them I was getting concerned that I may have lost the pregnancy because of the progressively lighter tests. The phone call made me feel like I was the dumbest person they ever could have talked to. The nurse was not supportive at all. She just basically told me to calm down. She told me I could come in for blood work but even that sounded like she was just trying to shut me up. When I came in I started having awful cramping. The nurse brought me to the back to talk for a second. Her end of the conversation consisted of: "we only do testing if you're bleeding" completely looking over the fact that I told her I was having awful cramps and was doubled over in pain "your baby is only the size of the tip of my pen" as if that made a miscarriage any easier "if you miscarry, then you miscarry" as if no one would be affected by an event like that just because I was early. The faces she made whenever I asked a question were as if I was asking something absurd. I left feeling dumb and upset all while still in terrible pain. The next day I started heavily bleeding and the blood results came back negative so I knew I miscarried. After the reaction from the nurse the day before, I felt like I couldn't even be upset. I felt as if I was wrong for being sad. I'm just so shocked over their response to a patient who is suspecting a miscarriage. If you want your nurses to be considerate or understanding of you then I definitely wouldn't recommend coming here. read more

I called today to speak with someone in billing/insurance and she was so sweet and helpful. Then I called the front desk to make an appointment and she was so nice too! The staff is rude and won't listen. I was scheduled for an appt at 7:45 (they were completely unable to give me any flexibility, that was the appt, that was it, so I took it and carefully wrote it on the calendar, asking the receptionist twice to confirm) and was told to show up 15 minutes early for paperwork, so I got there a little before 7:30 and the receptionist rudely told me I was late for my 7:30 appt and that I'd just have to fill out the paperwork in the room. MaryAnn was condescending and treated me like I was a stupid child. She doesn't wait for you to finish a sentence before talking over you. To top it off, I am now currently without my medication because I went in with a sinus infection and had taken Advil and Sudafed that morning without even thinking about it. My blood pressure ended up being just barely above the normal level (almost certainly because of the medication) and MaryAnn agreed that that was probably the cause, but I had to go to my primary care physician (which I didn't have yet at that time because I was new to the area) to get the go ahead with continuing the medication beyond three months. MaryAnn asked the front desk to give me some cards for primary care physicians in the area, and I was given one card for a specialist, not a primary care physician 45 minutes away. Even the receptionist said it was weird that it said he was a specialist on the card but it was in her family doctor file so....here...go to him. I looked him up online, nope, not a family doctor. So I tried getting in with the primary care physician I had wanted to see (I had been looking into it already) but they had recently lost a doctor and not replaced him yet, so no new patients, but they would accept me as soon as they replaced him. I waited but they hadn't replaced him yet and I (my fault) thought I had one more month of medication, but I didn't, and all of a sudden they for sure weren't going to be able to even start scheduling new clients until late January. Well, I started back from square one, and started looking for any primary care physicians, and they all were scheduled out until January for new patients, so I scheduled the earliest one I could find (January 3). So I called Cherry Hill OB/GYN and left a message for the nurse explaining the situation and asking if there was anyway at all that I could just get two more months of the medication, I'd even come in just for my BP or if they knew somewhere I could have it taken (I had had it taken at my dad's house since he owns the machine, and surprise surprise, back to normal without the meds). They got back to me two hours later, and in very short, snippy, "WE TOLD YOU SO" fashion, shut me down. No sorry, no ideas on how to work with me, nothing. She just said well you might have to go off of your meds for a month, oh well. (Which, it's actually going to be nearly 3 months). Never. Going. There. Again. I've never felt so belittled for trying to do what I was told to do without any help whatsoever in my life. read more

If you don't mind a cookie-cutter factory approach to pregnancy, this place will be great for you. It's a very busy office, and they get you in and get you out FAST. There is no personal touch. They act very irritated when you try to ask questions, like you're wasting their time. In fact, no one ever talked to me about taking prenatal vitamins or foods to avoid or anything about supporting a healthy pregnancy. They act like they can't be bothered with the people they are supposed to be helping bring a new human being onto this planet. I ended up having a miscarriage at eight weeks and at my appointment where we saw the heart stopped beating, I was taken to a separate office to talk about the D&E I needed to have. This conversation consisted primarily of talking about payment. I paid over $400 in that office for what I thought was going toward the D&E procedure, but that payment never got applied toward my Virtua surgery bill and it never showed up on my insurance. I cannot get in touch with Cherry Hill OBGYN to figure out where that charge went, and both my insurance and Virtua's best guess was that it was a separate physician's fee - that was definitely NOT clearly explained to me - if that's what it was. On top of this, my total surgery bill was $16,000 of which I owe $700. We are talking over a $1,000 for what was essentially an abortion, which by the way typically costs $400-500. Talk about taking your firstborn! Or in this case what would have been my firstborn. I understand other people have had a positive experience at this place, but I am NEVER going back. And the best part is they are so busy and get so many customers that they won't even care about their Yelp reviews or if they have some unhappy, mistreated patients. Back to square one trying to find an OB. Sigh. read more

My wife and I were very please with this practice. It was the perfect fit for my wife. The group encourages you to meet every doctor and midwife in the practice during your pregnancy. So on every appointment, we met a new healthcare provider which I think is a good idea. You never know who you are going to get on call when your wife goes into labor. So by meeting everyone, at least the face will be familiar. My wife was very happy with the amount of time the providers spent with you during the office visit. They maintained good eye contact during each visit. It felt that the providers were amenable to any birth plans the mom desired, so long that it was safe and reasonable. We didn't get an ultrasound on each visit, which I think is a good thing cause sometimes too much information is a bad thing, at least in my opinion. I have been a patient there for a few years. No complaints until today. I made a first time appointment for my teenage daughter. They asked me my insurance carrier, told them Aetna, they said okay first appointment is three weeks so I took it. When I showed up today with my daughter, they told me they take Aetna but not my kind of Aetna (P.S. This is the best insurance plan on the market from my husband's pharmaceutical employer, other medical providers rave about this plan). Because my daughter is starting college I couldn't wait to find another practice and then wait weeks for another appointment. I suggested paying for the visit, the front desk Lisa said and I quote "I can't help you perform Insurance fraud"...What???? Please, someone explain to me how paying for the bill for the office visit is committing insurance fraud? She finally called Lisa the Billing Manager to the front. Lisa was dripping annoyance from the second she spotted me. When I again tried to say I would pay the bill, she said why would you do that if you have insurance? Its a shame, I like the doctors in the practice but since their support staff decided they don't need my business I will go elsewhere. P.S.Billing Manager Lisa is pretty stupid, think about it Lisa, I would have written a check for you, no submitting forms to any Insurance company, it would have the easiest money the practice could have earned today. read more

As a first time mom who struggles with anxiety, especially related to doctors/hospitals/pregnancy, this was the exact practice I needed. The group has OB/GYN's and midwives. They were all very empathetic and took time with my care. They all provided undivided attention. I liked how they were agreeable to my holistic attitude towards my care. They did not overtest, as I've heard other OB practices tend to do, yet they were very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this practice. read more

I was previously going to a different practice, but started coming here about a year ago when I found out I was pregnant. I went through my whole pregnancy and delivery with this practice and have grown a bond with some of these doctors. 98% of the doctors and ultrasound techs I've met are very friendly and make you feel welcome. I can't remember her name but there's one ultrasound tech who was very rude and made me feel uncomfortable and kept sighing and huffing & puffing while doing my ultrasound. I'm also not fond of Dr. Richman. He's not the friendliest doctor and it seems like he just wants you out of the building the second he walks in. My favorite doctor is Dr. Jenkins. She's extremely kindhearted, helpful and sweet. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor to deliver my son. She's the only one I ask for now. Dr. McCullen is also nice as well. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because of Dr. Richman and that ultrasound tech and also sometimes towards the end of my pregnancy I just felt like I went to my appointment and it was wasted time because I was in and out in 5 minutes. I know they have other patients to tend to but when you feel like you're being rushed it's not a good feeling. I plan to stay here and have future OB care here as long as Dr. Jenkins is still here! The only reason I am giving them 3 stars is bc the staff is HORRIBLE. Doctors are Exceptional Especially McCullen & McCrossen, but the ladies who do billing are flat out rude and will tell you to find another doctor if you try to even argue w what they are saying. I know several of clients and family who have chosen to use another practice due to Michelle in billing being the most unprofessional and rude person anyone can ever deal with. How she still works there is beyond me but I'm sure I'm not the first nor the last person to complain about her. read more

Overall, this office is pretty good; most doctors and support staff. However, I left after having two visits with Dr. Brandwine about my life goal to have a second child (was approaching 40). Both visits he tried to talk me out of it. The theme was "You really don't want to talk care of a child at this age. I've seen this so many times." Who in the hell is any doctor to take away someone's hopes and dreams? That is not their place. I am now over my anger at his warped views and in the middle of a very healthy pregnancy....never happier and at another practice. read more

Very nice doctors - didn't make me wait very long at all and friendly. The staff is a completely different story. They have continually messed up my prescriptions and refused to take ownership of it. I constantly get the run around that someone else will call me back, etc. - I never get those calls. I am astounded at how rude their billing department is, the billing manager called me after I left a message and basically yelled at me for the problems that they have caused me. I will absolutely never go there again - the staff has absolutely ruined it for me and I am very disappointed because I liked the doctors. My suggestion to them is get a staff that knows what they are doing and fire their current staff. read more

Dr McCullen was not my primary OB, she was covering the weekend I had my son. Let me tell you! She was AMAZING! As a new mother, with fear and anxiety taking over, she explained everything that was about to happen and provided reassurance. From the minute I entered the L&D she was enthusiastic, warm and I felt like I knew her for years. She made my first delivery so comfortable and that's what's important. Her bed side manner is what it should be with all physicians. I recommend her to everyone and I hope I have her again. One of the best experiences I've had. If I could rate this practice a 0 I would. I had the worst experience with this group or I should say the asshole so-called doctor Richardson. I'm not one to complain or to speak badly about a place or even write a review but this was the worst experiences I've ever had with a doctor period. I had a lot of difficulties with my first pregnancy I retained so much fluid. I was ok with it in the beginning bc it wasn't as bad but once I hit 6 months i was well over 60 pounds of weight gain and I wasn't on the bigger side either. I walked and did my exercises that I could. I didn't over eat and eat more fruits and veggies that I could. It came to a point where I finally had to say something and tell them how uncomfortable I was. I had headaches everyday I couldn't feel my right hand it would go numb and forget about sleep I was up every hour due to my legs and hands going numb and hurting. I was still working and my job was very fast paced and I was never really able to sit down. I told them all of this and they acted as if it was ok. I was very overwhelmed trying to keep the water weight down bc it was giving me so many complications I could barely walk at this point bc my legs and ankles were so swelled it would hurt to put pressure on them. I know pregnancy doesn't always come easy but when the mother is stressed and extremely uncomfortable something should have been done. They waved me off like I was just complaining just to complain. I was so pissed bc I had spoken up thinking maybe they'll see what I'm talking about when they look at my ankles lol. Gwen the midwife looked at me and said that's what comes along with pregnancy smh. I could bare it anymore. So Come to find out I had protein in my urine and my pressure was through the roof when I took myself to the emergency room then they decided to admit me and induce me. I was in labor for 22 hours and it was the worse thing for me and for my husband. They induced me thinking I would get to 10cm and I would start pushing. So doctor Richardson checked me and said I was only 8and a half 9 cm he would come back from his lunch and I would start to push. They ran into my husband downstairs and said that they wanted to do forceps and didn't want to wait. they came back in less then 5 mins and started setting up for forceps. I was confused bc they were supposed to wait until my epidural wore off a bit so I could feel to push I was confused how was I supposed to push if I couldn't feel a thing?! He was making very inappropriate comments and degrading as I'm trying to push. telling me to stop pushing your not doing a thing! I told them over and over I can't feel if I'm pushing. I wanted to kick in the teeth I was crying saying something wasn't right I wasn't able to breathe or catch my breath my son was moving and kicking around so badly he felt like he was in my chest. I kept crying saying something is wrong. The nurse kept looking a the screen and whispering to the midwife. My sons heart rate was dropping and the were scrambling to get him out. he finally pulled him out with the forceps and the vacuum to notice the cord was wrapped around his neck twice. (The reason my son couldn't pulled out so quickly)!!!. He had the nerve to say my son liked this game of tug of war and he was lazy just like his mother as he threw my son onto me blue and no heartbeat!!! they ripped him from my chest I don't even get to touch him the nicu took him up and had to resuscitate him. I was also loosing so much blood that I was shaking uncontrollably and they acted like I was doing for attention my mom had to find me warm blankets and throw them on me to warm me up. They took me to my room after they stitched me and everyone was looking at me asking me if I was alright acting as if I had postpartum. Saying is she alright. I was sent home from the hospital with a low blood count and high blood pressure. I was in such pain and my head felt like it was going to explode thinking maybe this was a normal way to feel after child birth. I didn't even know it until the home nurse came out to me and check me and sent me to the hospital right away. The we're going to a blood transfusion on me thats how low my blood count was! Richardson is a piece of shit. Being a doctor isn't about just being good with your hands and delivering babies in my eyes he shouldn't be able to practice any longer his bedside manner is atrocious and he smelled like liquor by the way!!!! And the way he handled my situation was unprofessional and nothing but the worst experience for me. I'll never forget it ever! My son now sees a neurologist and had blood on the brain due to his horrible birth. read more

I recently found out I was pregnant. I have been going to another Virtua obgyn who is affiliated with Memorial Hospital in Mt Holly and isn't affiliated with the Voorhees hospital. As much as I love my OBGYN, the Mt Holly hospital is far from my house, so I decided to look into other possible doctors. I looked into Cherry Hill Gynecology associates and gave them a call in hopes of setting an initial appointment to get to know a female doctor. First let me say, RUDE. They explained that they do not allow patients to interview their doctors and whoever was on call that day was who I was going to get. They were so insensitive to a pregnant woman's right to choose her own doctor and health care provider, that I felt the need to write this review. If you care about bedside manner, being comfortable knowing who is delivering your child, do NOT go to these doctors who according to the nurse who took my call "are a large practice and that's how they choose to run their practice".
