Do not use these people. They don't give you any advance notice of items that you should move from the areas that need abatement. They'll just move things wherever they want. On top of that, their work is sloppy. They left nicks in my walls, and they left staples in my doorframes after they came to remove their containment barriers. I had the best customer service from Alliance today. The woman's name escapes me, as I have been on the phone for 10 hours. She informed me they do not do the work I needed but was happy to talk to me and take the time to get me some referrals. I so appreciate that. We have used them in the past and were so happy with their work, we were just hoping maybe they did the inspection I needed for a buyer of a mansion--must be nice. 3/5/2024 Time 10:14am PST I am updating my original post from a 1 star to 4 ONLY because Alliance Enviromental did reach out promptly to rectify the issue. I am the type of consumer that makes sure my balances get paid on time and without any delays, this is why I went out of my way to buy a Cashier Check to ensure Alliance Enviromental received their funds without any issues. Therefore, I expect the same service with whomever I do business with. I am glad Alliance Enviromental admitted an error and made corrections. Once I get an invoice reflecting balance paid in full, I will submit another update on my Yelp. I am furious my homeowners insurance referred me to Alliance Enviromental. My dispute with these people is that the day their techs completed the job I paid them in full with a bank verified Cashier Check for the amount due and they have the audacity to bill me again asking for full payment. If you do business with Alliance Enviromental please practice caution and make sure you pay with funds that have recourse or you will end-up getting multiple bills for the same job. ALSO please note the cost of their services are higher than other companies. The only reason I ended up doing business with Alliance Enviromental is because the insurance company sent them. We recently had Alliance Environmental out to our townhome to assist with asbestos and mold remediation after discovering that our upstairs bathtub had been leaking for some time and damaged our living room ceiling. Our project manager, Bret, was extremely knowledgeable and took his time explaining the entire process. The crew that performed the work was friendly and most importantly very clean. They put a plastic bubble around the work areas and protected our hardwood floors with cardboard. We ended up choosing to get clearance testing after the work and it passed on the first try. I had an awful experience with them as the abatement company contracted by our insurance. They squeezed a two day job into one and lied to my face (multiple times) about the protocols that they were taking for clean-up. They improperly handled hazardous waste, lied about the decontamination procedures (which were not done appropriately before my eyes - they set up a fake decontaminating station that was never used) and potentially cross-contaminated the other parts of my residence with their sloppiness. When all the sheeting was removed, it was very apparent by the level of dust left that they did not wipe down all the surfaces as required. Basically, they broke the rules for abatement and did so because wanted to finish the job in a short amount of time to book more jobs. They had to send someone back and reclean because the clearance sampling did not pass. By the way, this guy also lied to me too, because he said he wiped everything down again, but it was after him that I discovered all the dust on the vertical surfaces that were untouched since the original contamination. I did not choose them, and will know now never to hire them if I did have the choice. read more

A new owner in my condo building disturbed their cottage cheese ceiling, leaving a visible trail of debris from their doorway all the way through the common areas, & to the trash bin. As President of my Board, I handled this time sensitive issue myself, getting the particles tested for asbestos (results: positive), the work order created, and the cleanup order submitted to Alliance to quote the job. The homeowner who created the issue (who was financially responsible for the cleanup & testing) obtained a competing cleanup bid, aiming to pay less. But their bid actually came in significantly higher than Alliance's. From the very first email, Ryan was warm, professional, & communicative. This kind of customer service was super important, as scheduling cleanup needed to inconvenience 18 resident families as little as possible. Ryan completely understood this, visited the site multiple times (alone & with his crew) to plan, & coordinated the timing of the job perfectly. A job that could have displaced the whole building for multiple nights ended up only requiring the building to be empty for one 9am-5pm period of time. Hope you never need this kind of cleanup. But if you do, find someone like Ryan to project manage it for you. read more

Stay away from them, far away from them, and find an alternative. Their work was ok, though they failed to do all the smoke cleaning they were supposed to do on the contract, their attention to detail was so-so, and they had to be told to come out multiple times to finish most of the job. The worst part, though, was that they damaged the house due to sloppiness, refused to credit us based on the information we provide about repair costs, and then sued us in small claims court for our withholding the money to pay for the repairs from their damage. We are unbelievably having to take the time and effort now to sue them in order to try to get the money we had to shell out for the damages they did. Their claim is that their contract shields them from having any responsibility for damages that result while doing their work. It ended up costing us many of thousands of dollars and dealing with multiple subcontractors to repair their incremental damages. They can do a mediocre job, force you to pay, and then not cover very expensive repair costs. Who ever wants to work with a firm like that? read more

I received a call the next day and a technician came out today to replace the part of our furnace that was causing problems. I just wish it hadn't come at the expense of a bad review. In business, it's the response time and reliability of employees that can make or break a company. Customers just want to know they are being heard. Even if it's just a call back that says, "we're still working on it but the delay is xyz,". Thank you Chris for your call back and to Andy, the technician, (both were great!) who came to fix the furnace. AAA put me in contact with Alex from Alliance and the experience was excellent! Alex was very responsive and helped me to understand the process for abating my home. We had a large slab leak that unfortunately damaged all of the floors, kitchen cabinets and walls and once Alex's team arrived they made quick and effective work of removing everything while also addressing the asbestos that was in the flooring and walls as well. Avoid and reconsider another business The Repipe company recommended Alliance to do the drywall removal so I went along. They came and sent up their containment areas. One area was the front door entrance When this area was taken down a lot of the paint inside and out was removed. I brought this to the crews attention. The response was it would be taken care of by the dry wall crew. The day the dry wall crew came and finished their job the painting of the door area was not included. It turns out alliance was responsible since they did the work. Alliance after contacting them and after they looked at it said this "100% we are not going to repaint the door.. Again this is unavoidable and it was not done out of negligence.. I have nothing to do with overspray.. ". My response was. "What overspray?? The issue was the paint that was torn off by your workers so after I was told it would be handled they back down on their word and it got tossed around as if they were doing me a favor because they gave Repipe 1 a great deal. Makes no difference what kind of deal these two companies have given each other I still paid my bill and expect good customer service and professionalism. I bet if This was high end residential area they would not say the same thing Touching up their work and cleaning after themselves is not a lot to ask of any work crew. We had water damage as a result of a failing roof not managed properly by our HOA. Jeremie McPhail has seriously been so amazing to work with - you can tell he really knows his stuff and has a ton of experience in this area. Team did a great job with the abatement of our asbestos removal of our acoustic ceiling. We visited the home mid way and they had sealed all doorways and all plastic and tape were removed upon completion of the project. They were able to also come back and do the cuts in the wall for our electrician to rewire the home. Overall very professional and great job! read more

Surprising how much they wanted to unfairly charge me without a second thought. Technicians only spent one hour at my house removing a small piece of pipe and they wanted to charge $850. Called the estimator and he said that was the minimum fee they had to charge.Then I found a positive Yelp review about them but the client said he was charged $650 for 3 hours of pipe removal.It was at that point they adjusted the price to $650 but still was it fair when the other customer had a 3 hour project for the same price? It wasn't until I found out through looking at Yelp that they felt obliged to adjust my cost. Then I had to drive to the office to retrieve my check and write out a new one. Not going to get into the other unprofessional aspects of how they handle clients.Let's just say I would not repeat using them. read more

OK, either my house has a ghost or an alien who moved the heavy mirror while your crew member was in the bedroom by himself or this company is a huge liar! I can write a list of things you guys moved if you want me to. The team asked me to sign that paper AFTER they moved the mirror and other furniture. I did not sign the part about the mirror. They were here for almost an hour and a half. My neighbor saw the team was there for almost hour and half doing work too. You tell me they only did a walkthrough? Really? The walkthrough took almost an hour and half? I did some research on this company, and this company violated the business and professions code and they departed from trade standards. Wasn't a surprise why can't they follow my simple instruction of using two people to move those heavy mirrors. If the crack was a pre-exiting condition, why did you move all the mirrors and all the stuff and then tell me? And more importantly, why did you even lie about not moving my mirror or anything??? He was sweating after he moved the mirror. Do you want to take fingerprints? I'm sure they will show your employee moved my furniture and the mirror. Your company is horrible. read more
