Z Green Restoration gave me a reasonable price and showed up as planned. They were careful to put up a zippered plastic tent to isolate the areas and save me from contamination. It was a dirty job completed by two technicians. During the job Zion had to leave the country on a scheduled trip but was always available to me for texts snd phone calls. This is impressive. When the technicians were taking apart the bathroom, they accidentally dropped the toilet, which cracked badly. They acknowledged the accident. When the job was complete, Zion took money off the bill to cover the cost. All in all, I thought they did a great job, acted ethically, and were available for my concerns.

We had some water damage and mold under our kitchen sink from a leak we didn't realize was there for several weeks. We decided to go ahead with the project in July and I'm so happy we did. It's been weighing on us to get this fixed, and he and his team made the process feel very safe throughout. The major reason my husband and I selected them as a vendor was their genuine commitment to minimizing the damage to our kitchen as best they could. They set realistic expectations with us from the beginning about the potential damage we could be looking at and also recommended vendors to us who could do the subsequent repairs. They also talked to us throughout to let us know what they were going to have to demo before they went ahead and moved forward. We felt very informed and although there wasn't much of a choice for us, I appreciated the updates as they went along. He and his team stayed in communication with us throughout the project and got us on the schedule quickly. I really appreciated their ability to make us feel safe having people in our home during this time - and they even made sure that the seal for our kitchen was cat-proof to keep our furry friend safe :) Thank you Zion!

We hired Willis Bailey on the recommendation of Guido roofing who was repairing our leaking garage…read moreroof/deck. Since our 28 year old redwood deck was on its last leg and had to be torn off for the roof repair, we decided to choose Apex PVC decking to match the PVC railing we already had. Two major problems came up before the job ever started and Willis solved them both. He is very good at picturing every detail of the job before he starts and we found our that PVC deck is not recommended for flat roof deck which usually require floating deck sleepers (unattached supports). It is further complicated by the roof under the deck being sloped 2 ways to a gutter, when the deck itself needs to be level and the water has to have a way to flow underneath. Willis came up with a block system that was glued to the roof instead of free floating and it solved the requirements of the new decking, the drainage etc. Every block had to be a different height and angle. It was far more time consuming than was planned in his contract, but he didn't add on for it. The other problem that arose was a leak in the garage from below our fireplace surround. We have known for years that it was leaking under our siding, but was now worse. This was the 3rd time the siding needed replacing, but the source had still not been found. It turned out that the metal chimney cover was too small and not covering the whole top. Until Willis was on the job, noone had noticed. He did a change order, had a new one made and tore open the whole chimney surround to get rid of all the rotted wood. We would also like to give a shout out to Taylor Cole, (one of Willis' employees) for his conscientious care in treating our home as if it was is own. We highly recommend Bailey Construction.

He said yes they could and then I asked "where would these items be taken?'" and in my case he said they would first go to Habitat for Humanity, which was great to hear. If anything was denied they would take them/it to the appropriate place to be taken care of. Justin & Manuel did a great job and as I slowly go through many other items they will definitely be the only people I will turn to/use!

They referenced the ZIP code where we currently live, compared home prices in the area, and then described the quote as low relative to those home values instead of explaining the actual scope of work or pricing. The communication also felt unprofessional. Based on my experience, I would not feel comfortable trusting this company to complete the job, and I would not recommend them.

Finished day before 4pm. Not alot of progress. Day 2 Kevin promised 9am start. Arrives ~1030am. Finally started on fence. Noticed they started to paint trim that was not part of fence or posts! The quote specifically states does NOT include painting or staining!!! Finish ~415pm and asks for payment. Job is incomplete. Only 3 posts complete and balustrades are missing. Incomplete clean up, left ladder, dry pant roller and pan, downspouts on ground with hardware. Noticed paint drips on shakes and concrete later. Kevin has painted over existing trim and wood with a non matching color! Kevin asks for payment. Pay against my better judgment. Day 3. Promised to be here at 9am No show. Text Kevin ~11AM asking where he is at. Kevin says he is in San Jose on another job and wont be able to get to job today. Commits to be here and finish before noon. Day 4 no show again Claims his truck broke down. Offers to come on Saturday. Tell him no want him here on fri. exchange texts, nothing more. Day 5-6 nothing from Kevin Stop payment on check. Day 7 texted him and offers full payment less check stop fees, Kevin agrees to finish says was in hospital. Day 8 finished. Have to follow him to clean up paint spills. Poor communication skills. Mediocre to poor workmanship. Unprofessional. Unreliable. Do not recommend.
