Record of the harassment call by an associate named "Paola"
Zana D.

Had someone call me by the name of Paola, after I expressed to them months ago I didn't want to do business with them anymore due to their lack of professionalism. After I told the lady to stop calling me and harassing me to book an appointment, the lady used profanity towards me, told me to "pull up" as if she wanted to cause violent physical harm towards me. These people are absolutely ghetto and are basically a bunch of "hood rats". I filed a police report, and will be contacting the "BBB" to file a report of harassment's towards them. Also I will be telling my mother, younger sister, and grandmother to no longer give you our family's business and other people I know through social media. You guys are horrible, and at this point, I'm sure too prideful to give me an apology for this horrific experience. Please do not do business with these people! And Allheart Dental, Please do not call me anymore!!!

Let see where to start so in September I made a appointment with this place and I was told that I needed two crowns and that it was a emergency. So I was getting a deep cleaning and the dentist started working on my teeth and then before I knew it he was grinding to put crowns in also. After all said and done I was told that I needed to pay 250.00 and would have a balance of 558.00. I had no choice but to pay since he had already started the work. I had a family emergency and could not pay the 558.00 but Carmen call me in November to get another cleaning and that I needed to come in. I explained to her I was still needing my crowns but still I didn't go to the appointment. On 1/16/2018 o get a statement from my insurance oh but did I forget to tell you in September I had one job and in October I changed jobs and had new insurance my first day of employment. Well back to the story I got charged twice once in September to one insurance and the second time to the new insurance in November. All done be Carmen and Josh and even went to the extent to sign my name so the insurance could pay them. 4000.00 total that the insurance companies paid them and still no crowns. The owner won't return my calls and that location has no manager I guess. I'm going to report them to the state and take them to court to get this resolved Update as of 2/23/2018 finally got new crown because the other one had a hole in it what a rip off still had to pay more out of pocket

Please be careful and reconsider going to this location!!!!!! Daisy the front desk clerk lied to me about being able to see the main Dr. just to get me in! Once they took pictures of the tooth that i was complaining about the lady Dr. walked in that originally told me i should take the old fillings out because in today's time they use different filling material compared to back then. I asked her can she get me the main Dr. because thats who i was here to see! i told her when you did my teeth the last time you didn't do it right! Trust me it was all a money scam let alone my teeth was hurting even worse after she did it so that's why i requested the main Dr. which is a guy that had done previous work on me. Come to fine out he no longer works there! But Daisy the clerk told me he only works on Thursday. WoW! They wanted me to pay out of pocket so i called my insurance and they said no because it had already been paid for in the past so it was their job to fix it the correct way! I literally waited in the room for a hour and a half just to go back and forth with the rude office manager which doesn't like me because i got him in trouble before! You can definitely blame him for the way the front desk clerks are trained and taught to treat patients! I'm going to call the News station and get them involved and previous patients so we can stand outside with signs to show AllHeart Dental we demand professionalism and to be treated with respect! Here are pictures of their work and damages done to my tooth! Daisy front desk clerk gave me a copy of my office visit showing when i was last seen but she let the office manger talk her into asking me for money. I noticed some procedures on the print out that they charged my insurance wasn't done on me either so i will be calling my insurance company in the morning to open up an investigation!

It just a picture on the tv

I will not come back. Now I know why when I call no one answers. Music to loud, we don't listen to rap music, no cartoons for the kids to watch. It's not kid friendly anymore

Made a same day, emergency appointment because I was in so much pain. The dental assistant and xray tech was super nice, patient and friendly. I was treated by Dr. SONG and he is the BEST! Very gentle, kind and skilled. He extracted my molar (broken and decayed) in just a few minutes. I highly recommend this place. I will be back!

The dental hygienist was friendly, professional, and proficient. She took great care to make sure I was comfortable and was very patient with my needing frequent breaks, so a special thank you to Amanda! Dr. Schooner performed my post-cleaning exam and was relaxed, quick, and friendly. I also didn't wait very long past my appointment time. The appointment lasted about 1hr 15min or so, which actually isn't bad at all, considering I hadn't had a cleaning in 4 years, and that it was my first time at his practice so X-rays also had to be done. Overall I appreciate how they made an unpleasantness that is a dental appointment as painless as possible. I will definitely be using them for my primary dental care moving forward.

Well, because my dentist doesn't believe in pain. Woohoo!! Dr. Wald is Awesome (that's right, with a capital A). She's funny as hell, genuinely caring, and very, very good at her job. I am in pretty great shape since she put sealants on my molars several years ago, but I constantly recommend her to people who have had bad experiences or anxiety about needing dental work because she is really good about that sort of thing. One of my more nervous friends went for a crown replacement recently, and doesn't remember a thing after being told to "count to ten." Enough said. Great office, great staff. Everyone is really nice. They're about a half hour south of Dallas, and well worth the drive down if you ask me. I love her!!

Right after that she tells me how I have great insurance and that they cover a lot of my work that I need to have done. So right then and there I knew what type of dental office this was. I never mentioned to her that I was a former dental assistant, and that as I'm looking at my x-rays I don't see all these cavities that she's telling me I have. They didn't even clean my teeth because she wanted me to come back for the "deep cleaning". I was so disappointed that this type of clinic is even open in my town. I was able to finally get into another dental office where I was told I have no cavities, no gingivitis just a little inflammation around my gums. And they actually did the routine cleaning that I went in there for. Be careful if you go here and get a second opinion if they start saying you need a lot of work done. Especially if you have "great" insurance..

I am extremely upset with my experience at Ovilla Family Dentistry…read more On August 14th, I called Ovilla Family Dentistry to make an initial appointment for a cleaning and possible cavity to be filled. I spoke to Candace and asked if they accepted Cigna and she responded saying they do accept Cigna if it's a PPO plan (Which mine is. Also, I would like to add this is my first time using my dental insurance this year and my first year having Cigna for my dental insurance). Everything was great I scheduled the appointment for the following Friday at 10am. I arrived to my appointment 12 minutes late and the staff was understanding of my situation (my daughter woke up sick). Amanda asked for my ID and insurance card and then I waited a few minutes and was sent back to get my cleaning. The cleaning was awesome- probably the best cleaning I've had in awhile. The doctor informed me I had a significantly large cavity on my 2nd to last molar on the top left side, which she recommended I took care of immediately to avoid a root canal, cause it was that bad. I went to the front to check out and Candace printed off a sheet explaining how much my two cavities would be to fill. She said I had to pay a $100 insurance deductible and when I asked why it was so high she said that's just insurance... so with this being a new plan that I haven't used and being told they accepted my insurance, I just thought my insurance was crappy... fast forward to this past Tuesday, August 27th, after getting a very large cavity filled I went to the front to pay and was told my total was $301 (an extra $100 went toward some kinda lining they put around my root to avoid a root canal-- *$301 for 1 cavity*). I paid and scheduled my next appointment for the other cavity to be filled. Later on that night I looked at my Cigna app and said the EOB said they were indeed out of network. SO SO SO MISLEADING and wrong! When I called today, August 28th, to talk to Candace about the situation she said they record all their phone calls and she went back to listen to the 7 minute initial conversation and said you didn't ask if we were in network, you asked it we accepted Cigna (what is the difference?!) and I replied with yes we accept Cigna PPO plans. At that point I was so highly upset because she confirmed with me that she did in fact say they accepted Cigna PPO plans and had me under the impression I was being charge the in network percentage. If they were out of network her correct response should have been we accept Cigna but are not in network. From the time I scheduled, to arriving at my appointment and handing over my insurance card, to checking out, not once was I told they were out of network! That should have been explained. Insurance deductibles are confusing and insurance verification being one of her jobs should have been conveyed better. I would have gone elsewhere had I known on the initial conversation that Cigna wasn't in network, it would have been absurd for me to go somewhere not in network when A TON of dentistry's near me accept my PPO plan. I feel she didn't relay that I wasn't in network because I would have never gone or had any work done in the first place and that would have been business lost. With all this being said beware and know your deductibles before you go anywhere! I have reached out to our local news station to see what can be done about this situation as well. This is wrong.
