I shuffled in. I walked out feeling like I could do cartwheels! Soon I was back to my construction job able to support my family. I have learned over time, now a loyal client of Dr. Baudille, that he is one of the top chiropractors in New York. Teaching & lecturing in his industry. I couldn't be happier. The front desk wasn't very friendly; they seemed overwhelmed and confused, though this was not Raymond's team. His front desk is inside the establishment, so I couldn't speak to them directly and had to have the front desk call his team. There were about 10 people waiting, but they weren't there for him, so I was taken in quicker. The front desk told me it's never usually busy, which was a bit confusing. I also wish they had clarified over the phone that it was split into two businesses so I would know what to expect when I entered. Initially, I felt disappointed and considered leaving, but once I spoke with his front desk, they reassured me that I would be taken care of and everything would be okay. When I met Raymond, he asked me a lot of questions and spent about 20 to 30 minutes with me. I appreciated that he asked for my consent every time he touched me. He worked on my back, applied a heat pad, cracked my lower back, and worked on my legs. After the session, I felt much better. I'm going to try my best to see him on a weekly basis, but his location is quite far for me. He appreciated that I traveled so far to see him based on his reviews. After years of chronic pain and endless trips to massage parlors, acupuncturists, chiropractors, you name it, I've tried it all in the name of back pain. I found him by coincidence as I was driving to a friend's house in Dyker Heights. The name on the awning caught my eye; Compassion Chiropractic. A few weeks later, I went online and filled out a form for a free consultation. Upon arrival, Michelle, one of the receptionists/assistants, assisted me with forms and explaining things to me. She is a sweetheart, just like all the other ladies who work there. They are soft-spoken, courteous, and attentive. Dr. Li is not far off from the ladies in demeanor and service. He is kind, soft-spoken, and knowledgeable in his field. During my consultation, he used a MyoVision tool to scan my spine. No chiropractor has ever done that before; after that, he explained the results and did an x-ray. The x-ray showed that I have scoliosis both in my neck and upper back. I have done MRI's before seeing Dr. Li, which have shown where I have herniated discs, but I have never had doctors do x-rays to see my spine. Needles to say, I was shocked to see the state of my spine. In Dr. Li's words, after seeing my x-ray," you're in a lot of pain." Dr. Li then told me what he offered. I am now two months into my treatments called Life-Changing Plan: Express ( 13 weeks = 26 adjustments). I have never felt better. I see Dr. Li twice a week, and it's been a blessing. I am looking forward to seeing how my spine is after my treatment is completed. Besides the adjustments, where he barely touches you but touches you :) (his touch is gentle and not aggressive like all the other chiropractors I've seen before). There is a massage chair that they put you in after the adjustments, the greatest invention on earth. He also treated my ankle, which I'd twisted months before, with laser therapy. Seeing Dr. Li improves my spine and helps the pain in the ass tennis elbow I've had for almost 2yrs now. The only downfall is that it is cash only but let me tell you that it is worth it. Tbh when you need a chiropractor it is mostly in an emergency situation. Anyway this place is walk in only and cash only $30 for adults and $15 for kids. I came in because due to severe coughing my right back side was in pain. The first time Dd. Mendez couldn't do much but I went to him 4 days straight and it has improved a lot. Although this is walk in only but I only waited 30 mins when the waiting area is full so I wouldn't be discouraged if you walk in to a full room. He is great and I even brought my two kids there just for some fine tuning adjustments. Many have gone to him so I am glad I can just walk in and get treated and also unlike some other chiropractors he doesn't upsale anything while I am there. It is an adjustment no massage and that's it. No frill chiropractor.

On the strength of this, I booked a follow up visit for my return for some clearly much-needed physical therapy. That proved to be a mistake. The session was extremely painful, which I suffered through under the delusion that it would result in improvement the next day. Reality was the exact opposite: I could barely walk or function the following day, and had to cancel an appointment in the city because I could not travel. Because this clinic only operate three days a week, the desperate voicemail I left seeking helpwas not return, even when the clinic reopened. Also, the twice promised list of relief stretches was never provided. They don't seem to monitor their voicemail very well: I canceled my following appointment, Which news they never received or acknowledged.
