I have the #1 Car Painting site in the world www.EasyPaintYourCar.com and much of what I learned early on came from the EXCELLENT and HELPFUL PERSONAL service I received from Allen Paint-- and it's wonderful staff, people like Jim Lyons, Mary, Joanne, Jorge, and every other person there. This staff is really the genius core of this place, and they are THE BEST. When I was getting started, I made the rounds of many auto paint suppliers in Denver-- Allen was the friendliest and most helpful by far, and they've maintained this attitude over the many years that I've been painting and helping people to paint. I won't mention the other places- because frankly, you just don't want to go near these others. I have found that Allen offers a very wide variety of paint classes- so you can spend a little and keep your work affordable for that old heap, or you can go crazy and buy the best paint made for your classic collectible. Without exception, the staff has always taken the time to help me do exactly what I want, to mix paint exactly to my needs-- even when its a small amount-- other shops I've been to are snobby and overpriced, and you nearly had to beg to get good advice. And some advice I've gotten elsewhere was just flat out wrong. I feel very lucky to live in the same town as a business who really cares about their customers, in the short and long run, and I cannot recommend them enough for your supplies and help. Allen Paint seems to sell quality products, but customer service is not a priority. Staff is rude and when asking even the most basic questions, make you feel stupid. If there was another business nearby that I could get the same products from, I would go there instead. read more
