Lisa came highly recommended as you can see from the reviews and at an affordable rate. She gave me the direction i needed and many other suggestions. This helped me move forward and get closer to finishing what i started. Grateful for all your help, Lisa.

We met with Lisa to discuss ideas on remodeling our 1990s-era bathrooms because we were unsure of how to proceed. Lisa was able to present us a new vision, rescaling our plans and saving us a significant amount of money while still achieving our goal of creating an elegant, updated look and enhancing the function of the spaces. The savings on our bathroom remodels will allow us to embark on other redecorating projects that we thought were beyond our reach. We are thrilled! Lisa has amazing insights into melding function with beauty, and she has an appreciation of and respect for collectibles and antiques, and how best to display them to tell our family story. She has extensive resources to help us realize our vision. We are looking forward to continuing to work with Lisa to enhance our entire home, thereby enriching our family life. We are so pleased to have her as our guide in this journey! Kristine W.

Laura understood our design preferences and helped us create a vision of the space, including the furniture, rug, and window treatments for our dining room. They look great! Interior Designer: Laura Koshel Details: COVID lockdowns reminded us what we love about our Chapel Hill home, and highlighted what we didn't. Topping the list: Our master bedroom; a sad and soulless room with a bed - equal parts beige and obsolete. Laura guided us, nay glided us through a collaborative design experience resulting in our dream bedroom. From the bespoke oak bed system with hand-tufted headboard to the full-wall remote motorized window treatments, she delivered us the perfect slumber chamber. The stunning lighting, soothing fabrics, and sexy sightlines make this our favorite room in the house. Decidedly luxe with a touch of swank, our new sanctuary all but beckons us to relax. I made three separate trips from Florida to North Carolina for scheduled delivery, and all three failed. The first was canceled because the order hadn't arrived, the second because the table base was missing, and the third because my delivery time was changed overnight and pushed back. An upside down table, with no base, has been in my dining room for nearly two months. This store is not reliable, and I do not recommend purchasing from it.

After spending $5,000 on furniture, my 86 and 92-year-old in-laws have been subjected to the most ridiculous and insensitive "customer service" process I've ever encountered. **THE PROBLEMS:** * Once you purchase, this Glenwood Ave store completely abandons you - they outsource everything and refuse local assistance * The store manager flat-out told us it was "policy and protocol" that she couldn't help, even with obviously defective furniture * Customer service is handled by remote technicians with zero common sense, only rigid protocol adherence **THE ABSURD "REPAIR" PROCESS:** When one of their $1,450 recliners arrived damaged (clearly dropped during delivery), here's what the Glenwood Ave La-Z-Boy expected: 1. Video chat with outsourced technician - but FIRST my elderly in-laws had to sign a waiver absolving the company of any injury liability 1. Expected an 86-year-old woman and 92-year-old man to flip a 130-pound recliner so the remote tech could see underneath 1. Schedule in-person tech visit (2 weeks wait) 1. Order parts (another 2 weeks wait) 1. Schedule repair attempt (another 2 weeks wait) 1. If repair fails, order replacement (guess what - another 2 weeks!) **DO THE MATH:** Chairs were ordered June 1st and delivered August 8th - already a 2+ month wait. With their ridiculous repair process, it may be OCTOBER before this defective chair is resolved! That's potentially 4+ months for what should have been a simple replacement. A locally owned furniture store would have had a replacement chair delivered immediately, not put elderly customers through this corporate nightmare. **THE WORST PART:** My in-laws are fire survivors who lost everything over a year ago. After being displaced from their home of 49 years, they finally returned and just wanted to settle back into comfort in their own space. They spent $5,000 on furniture (two $1,450 recliners, a love seat, rug, and lamp) and expected quality products and reliable service. Instead, this corporate giant is bullying and jerking around two elderly people over obviously defective furniture. The company clearly knew the chair was damaged during delivery but hoped two elderly customers wouldn't have the fight left in them to complain. **BOTTOM LINE:** This La-Z-Boy store on Glenwood Ave in Raleigh takes your money then completely abandons you to an outsourced maze of incompetent "customer service." The delivery team knew the furniture was damaged but delivered it anyway, counting on elderly customers not to fight back. The store manager refuses to help citing "policy." Save yourself the headache and shop literally ANYWHERE else. This is not customer service - it's customer abuse disguised as "protocol."
