They got me in for an emergency appointment and from the second I walked through the door I was treated absolutely the best. The hygienist or dental assistant was welcoming, sat with me and listened to all of my concerns. Made sure I was comfortable. The Dr. (super funny btw) Had an amazing bedside manner. Explained my options in detail, and went very slow (which was amazing because I am used to dentists just getting in there and causing extreme pain.) I had an extraction of a back molar that was infected and an abcess that was causing me causing extreme pain, ... during the procedure... honestly I felt nothing. I mean nothing! I will definitely be referring everyone I know to him! I have so many good/positive things to say about this whole office. Thank you for an amazing dental office visit.

It had been a while and I didn't have a dentist because I had recently ( at the time) moved here. The staff was great, made me feel welcome and Dr. Catron cleaned my teeth while chit chatting and never once made me feel bad or uncomfortable. In fact he complimented my teeth and overall it was a great experience. Once I finally got dental insurance, I decided to come back a few years later-since I had already been here. The hygienist, made me feel absolutely awful. She was friendly at first, but while cleaning my teeth, she seemed very uncomfortable and nervous. She used the word Tenacious about 4 times. I hadn't had a cleaning in a few years and I get that, but Dr. Catron never made me feel like this. I wish I could remember her name, but I hope she remembers the word Tenacious if she ever reads this. A different dentist popped in, took a look cause she was obviously nervous or overwhelmed, and he was almost so non chalant that it turned into such a strange experience. I got outta there with no cavities and heavily considering a deep cleaning but certainly won't be getting it there. I felt so bad after I left, I was super bummed the rest of the day and was shocked at the day vs night two experiences. Took me a few months to write this review, but I want them to know that it takes a lot for me to write a negative review and a thought out review like this but it was totally uncalled for the way she treated me. I'm a very kind person, and it's not ok for a so called professional to make me feel like that. Also, might want to look into the word Tenacious, probably not the best choice of wording in that scenario, it was pretty weird.

I was stressed and dealing with a series of other personal things and feeling overwhelmed. From the moment I called I was greeted by Jamie who was so kind, non judgmental about my dental concerns and able to get me in within a couple of hours, even though I had never been there before. Lamar was the dental assistant who helped me when I arrived and really brought my worries and anxiety down with his friendly and engaging personality. Dr. Nav was kind and spotted the issue right away and set me up to come back 2 days later to get a root canal and crown. He let me know everything could be done in only 1 visit as he makes the crowns right there in his office. He made sure I was taking antibiotics leading up to the appointment and I left there feeling like I had made the right choice calling them. I'll admit I was so anxious for the days leading up to the appointment and not feeling great from the infection & some back issues but I was met again by Lamar who once again made the whole ordeal less stressful by really paying attention to what he could do to make me more comfortable and at ease & even offered a pillow for my back that was hurting. I was booked for a 3 hour appointment and expecting the root canal to take at least 1.5-2 hours of that time & dreading every minute but Dr Nav and Lamar were so efficient and worked so well together that it was completed in just an hour! They have all the latest technology & Dr Nav is an excellent dentist. After the procedure I relaxed in the chair while the tooth was made in about 25-30 mins and the fitting took an additional 5-10 mins. I have really bad TMJ and I've never left a dentist chair without a migraine but this time there was only minimal jaw discomfort and no headache whatsoever which is unheard of for me and my dental work history. I was so pleased with the results and the kindness of the staff. If you're looking for a friendly and efficient and skilled dentist I highly recommend Dr Nav & his team at Cameron Park Family Dentistry.

I cannot say enough good things about El Dorado Hills Dental, Dr. Austin Cope, and the entire team…read moretruly the best dental experience I've ever had! I had dental work that needed to be done for quite a while, but I was extremely anxious about choosing the right dentist. Over the years, I'd been told by other offices that I needed very expensive and aggressive treatments that didn't feel right to me, and unfortunately I had a few negative experiences where I felt rushed, overlooked, or forgotten entirely at appointments. That created a lot of anxiety, especially considering how overwhelming and expensive dental care can be. I found El Dorado Hills Dental through a referral from someone who works in the dental field, which immediately made me feel more at ease knowing it came from someone knowledgeable and trusted. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The space was welcoming and calm, the staff was kind and attentive, and it didn't have that typical overstimulating, clinical dentist vibe, it felt relaxed and comfortable right from the start. I shared my past experiences and concerns with Dr. Austin Cope, and during my exam he was incredibly communicative and thorough. I really appreciate understanding what's going on with my mouth, and he took the time to explain everything in a way that was clear and empowering rather than overwhelming. He constantly checked in to make sure I was comfortable, and honestly, it felt more like talking to a friend than sitting with a dentist which was incredibly reassuring. Together we came up with a treatment plan that felt thoughtful, reasonable, and genuinely in my best interest. I never felt pressured or rushed, and everything was explained clearly so I felt confident moving forward. I went in yesterday to have the dental work done, and I was completely blown away. The entire experience was smooth, calm, and handled with so much care by Dr. Cope and his team. I felt safe, supported, and genuinely cared for the entire time! I'm beyond grateful I found El Dorado Hills Dental. If you've had dental anxiety, past negative experiences, or are just looking for a dentist who truly takes the time to care, explain, and treat you like a human, I cannot recommend them enough!

Very disappointed . Dr. Little is a soft spoken man. I have been going to him for a few years…read more Cleanings and exams as expected and no problems. Then, I started having issues with the left side if my mouth. Dr. Little suggested crowns. My insurance allowance had already been used so, I scheduled my appointment for after the first of the year. I called ahead of time to find out how much I needed to pay out of pocket and was given the price. When I arrived for my appointment they informed me it would be an extra 100.00 on top of the almost 600.00 out of pocket that I came prepared to pay. Then I was told they wanted to start on the right side of my mouth (the side that has given me no trouble) once the tooth was drilled out and a temporary crown put on, I was then given a referral for a root canal in case the pain got worse while waiting for the permanent crown. Why wasn't this explained prior? We had already discussed that I didn't want to get a root canal. So, I go to schedule to put the permanent in and I'm told I'd have to wait until mid March (it takes 2 weeks for the tooth to come back) so they send me away with a repair kit "because it's likely my temporary will come out" I'm not saying the man shouldn't take a vacation but, his office shouldn't schedule treatments unless his availability allows him to finish the job. I complained enough and was seen a month later. The tooth with the crown is feeling better. But, the tooth next to it that he put a filling in hasn't stopped hurting. I'm living off of tylenol and motrin for some type of relief. All for a side if my mouth that wasn't bothering me to begin with! Meanwhile, I'm also still having the original issue with the left side of my mouth. So, I've made an appointment with a new dentist and I'll be stuck paying out of pocket since Littles office used my allowance on a crown I probably didn't need in the first place.
