We dropped it off at 4:45 am for a 6 am flight. But because Bozeman Budget doesn't have employees onsite. You leave the vehicle with the key inside. They show drop off at 7:45 which likely when the employees show up and scan all the returned rentals. Then when I called customer service the lady told me I had to fill out documentation and show proof of my flights. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told one wasn't available for 24-48 hours. Then I decided to email. When I finished my email and hit send it said server error try again. My guess is they do this frequently and make it so hard that people give up.

When we got to Missoula the following day, it was warm and we found the air conditioner was not working. It was no longer tolerable when we got to Kalispel so we went to the airport. They only had a Pacifica or a truck available. We took the Pacifica and it was great until we got to Great Falls the following day. A message appeared on the screen while driving in heavy traffic-"pull over safely as this vehicle is going to shut down". It did shut down and would not start again. We called Budget for roadside assistance. They informed us it would be 1-1 1/2 hours until arrival and we would be charged for the service. After 20 minutes the car started. We drove to the airport and then cancelled the roadside service call. They said it would be awhile as they had to clean the car. We were given a Chevy Malibu. When we got to Bozeman the following morning to return the car, there was no one to check the car in and no one at the airport counter. We received the rental receipt via email. We were charged an additional $250 for a one way trip. When we called they said they would look into it and get back to us in 3-4 business days. The same day, we received another email charging us $104 for a tow service. I will never rent from Budget again!!!

These guys and gals are the best! A special shoutout to Alex who went above and beyond on my last rental. I will be back. As an aside, I'm very surprised at the low Yelp ratings for this agency. My experiences have been nothing but 5 star. The customer service is what really sets them apart from others.

Over 2 hours wasted in lines!…read more Had a reservation for Enterprise rental car.. (along with many others). They had 1 person (very friendly) working the desk with a huge line. The other rental car companies had a large line also but cleared out their lines while we all still waited. Finally the other rental car company agents (2 of them) assisted to get the line moving. I was handed paperwork and told to go up to get my rental car. I get off the elevator and was again in the same long line to pick up my rental car. Finally picked up my rental to now be stacked in a long line of cars waiting to exit the structure. It took over 2 hours to get the rental car and out of the structure. I have never stayed at a Quality Inn before in my life and I didn't know what to expect. I was…read moresolely going off of the positive reviews on Yelp, Google and the affordable pricing for this booking. And I wasn't disappointed! Initially walking in and seeing all the taxidermy was a bit alarming considering I'm a vegan, but looking passed that and opting out of eating breakfast the following morning saved me. Service was okay; the chick at the front desk has trouble with understanding spoken words and I had to repeat myself six times to her, but luckily her coworker was nearby to help her out. The room was spacious with two beds, a mini fridge, a huge television, and icy cold air. I got two beds since a friend (ex friend now) was supposed to stay with me, but she decided against it. I guess she wanted to stay in another cramped hostel, oh well more comfort for me. The beds slept very comfortable and the pillows were soft. The television was the star of the show and I kept it on all night to avoid what happened to me last time. I'm glad I did that because I discovered a new movie, X. I got to watch Lord of the Rings too and another movie that is a psychological thriller (I can't remember the name of it). The bathroom was very clean, but small tub. I didn't care because the water was hot and felt good on my skin after that extreme hike I did to Delta Lake in Grand Tetons. I don't know how safe the area is usually, but this one night stay; I felt safe and the rental car wasn't broken into or stolen. Oh and this hotel is less than 10 minutes away from the airport. I wasn't late with returning the rental car and still got to TSA checkpoint on time. This is a real steal!!
