The manager and staff are very rude and wasting our time! She said sorry but I didn't feel any sincerity!

Hotel was not worth $127 for a single queen room for one night stay. Full breakfast menu but very processed tasting.

The WiFi is free and so is the breakfast which is not always the case, especially being so close to Yellowstone.

NO elevator and 3 floors. The location has a pool and a hot tub. Both could use a little update. They have a snack area that you can pay to get some snacks. The hotel is not far from the airport. Hotel off main highway. Breakfast was biscuits/gravy and eggs both mornings that are handed to you by the hotel staff. The side door to the stairwell was not locked on more than on occasion. Also seemed strange to walk down the hotel corridor and have everyone's towels and garbage set out in front of the room. We asked about that and were told that since Covid, they don't do any services, but we could request more towels, and if garbage is too much inside, we set it outside of the room. Just seemed odd, not having a bin for garbage for guests, but I guess that is the way they do things. Didn't seem sanitary. Overall , the stay was good, kind staff and beds were fine.

Their gym was just a small closet with a treadmill, elliptical, and broken water fountain. The amenities were not 24/7 like the website advertised. That means no last-minute panicky jaunts to FedEx-Kinko's for copies for meeting stuff. This location has a terrific front desk staff, clean rooms, and an all-around good thing goin'. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had willed our little compact sedan through a serious blizzard and were just looking for a place to crash. We settled on the Wingate because it was a name brand and decently priced. Here are the things you should know about this hotel: 1. INCREDIBLE customer service. I've stayed all over the world, but never have I seen a staff go out of its way to clear the snow off cars in the parking lot the morning after a blizzard. We were blown away. 2. The continental breakfast is not just a plate of bagels. They have scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage along with all sorts of juice, coffee, tea, muffins, etc... It was another pleasant surprise to wake up to. 3. The rooms are very well appointed. No surprise there. It was basically the same setup as you will find at any travelers hotel. It was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. So thank you very much Wingate Bozeman, in our month long trip across the country, you absolutely took the prize as our favorite hotel!

I had to call the front desk, FROM THE FRONT DESK, to find someone to check us in. And when the guy arrived, it was from outside with two police officers. * No keys. You have to download a stupid app to get in and out of your room and to even get into the property. Here we were standing on a street corner fumbling with our phones and waiting for an app to load? Not safe and not cool. * Shared bathrooms with unlabeled liquid soap dispensers. Is it shampoo? Is it body wash? Is it conditioner? Who knows? * App based TV's with no local channels. Want to watch the local news? Nope, but here's "Three's Company" on Crackle for your viewing pleasure. * Finally, and this is super picky but I'm on a roll, but the pillows are so firm and large that my head felt like it was at a 90 degree angle to my body all night. Nope.

I flew up to Belgrade / Bozeman from Austin, Texas, to visit my 25-year-old son for four days. I…read moretraveled during Montana's busy season (July), and discovered this little gem that was perfect for me. The Outpost is a euro-style hotel with 14 small, well-kept rooms and 7 private but shared bathrooms. (In other words, this is not a hostel: you get a private room and the use of a locking bathroom to yourself, but other guests will use that bathroom throughout the day.) I have stayed at similar hotels in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Reykjavik, and Rio de Janeiro. The rooms are small but extremely clean. I did not see any indication that the hotel or bathrooms are ADA accessible, but that was not an issue for me. Management is only on hand 6-8 hours a day but will answer their cell phones at any hour. The hotel has two shared living areas and a shared kitchen. The fridge has a designated shelf for each room---you don't have to worry about your food getting mixed up or "borrowed." The Outpost website mentions a "light breakfast. " All I found was bread, butter, jam, and a toaster . . . keurig coffee and tea are available all day. There are two breakfast and brunch cafés around the corner and a donut shop down the street. The hotel is within one block of four lunch and dinner restaurants and pubs, and the grocery is less than a mile away. The BZN airport is just five minutes away; Bozeman itself is a 10-15 minute drive. There's a "dispensary" next door. There are train tracks nearby, and this historic building is on Main Street, so if noise is a concern for you, this might not be the best fit. Others have complained about the noise INSIDE the hotel and about the room temperatures. I did not find either to be a problem: the guests are quieter than at most big-name hotels, and the hotel has central heat and air conditioning. The Outpost is a great little option AS LONG AS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE SIGNING UP FOR, so make sure to check the website. Call and let the management know if you have any specific needs. They were happy to accommodate all of mine. All in all, I was very pleased and will stay again next time I visit.
