Came here for a weekend trip to Big Sky, which is just an hour and a half south of Bozeman. You fly into scenery that is something out of a movie or TV show. Rental cars are located right in the terminal. No need to take shuttles anywhere. And once you get your car, you're right out onto the highway and on to your next destination. Very comfortable lobby and gate area. No airport lounges here. But the entire airport has a warm lounge feel anyways. Not too crowded and easy pace.

The rental car area is right by the luggage carousels, for easy access. The layout was easy to understand and the signage was clear and informative. Usually it's kind of hard to navigate to the rideshare area of an airport, but this one was clearly marked and easy to get to. TSA checkpoint was easy to navigate through. There is no real special Pre-Check line but they will give you a card marking that you don't have to take off your shoes and light jacket off. The gates have a lot of seating and there are quite a few places to eat in this small airport. I wasn't a fan of how the seats at the B gates all faced the windows (the early winter sun can be brutal) but there were some in the shadows so it's not too bad. This place is decorated really nicely, with a lot of art to look at. It was really clean and orderly as well.

They managed to get us, and all our luggage from Texas to Big Sky country out here in the middle of Montana. They were friendly and helpful the entire way. When we went, the entire ground crew was dressed in pink in observance of breast cancer awareness. The air crew did a great job of keeping us full of drinks and snacks, which was all appreciated as well. The flight was on time. They did jack us around a bit too much with flight reschedules in the weeks leading up to the ultimate flight. They rescheduled the flight a few times, but we made it work. We got this flight due to a free companion certificate! Woot! Score! My favorite thing about flying with Delta is the Biscoff Belgian biscuits. Nom!

Our flight back home was canceled due to a computer glitch, which I understand is beyond…read moreAllegiant's control; however, after the flight was canceled we were told to wait for an email that did not come for hours and did not help with any travel plans. One agent told us that another flight would be scheduled out the next day - it was not, nor did we receive an email indicating so. As we tried to find an alternate route, we had questions for the agents, but the agents both upstairs and downstairs in the airport had left and the passengers had to fend for themselves to try to find a way home (no one was at the Allegiant gate; I left the security area and went down to check the ticketing desk because we could not get through to allegiance customer service by phone, no one was there either). We tried to call customer service by phone multiple times and held for long periods of time up to 30 minutes with no answer. We were at the airport for over 12 hours prior to finding a flight out on an alternative airline but this required spending the night in a different city and taking a flight back home the next day at a huge expense buying last-minute airfare with hotel/food/transportation costs. The less than $100 voucher Allegiant offered won't scratch the financial cost incurred. I'm not sure why they would not keep an agent on site throughout the day to help take care of customers. This was the second time we tried to fly Allegiant. Our flight earlier this year was also canceled out of our departing city cancelling that entire planned trip in that they did not reschedule the flight and alternative airlines could not accommodate.
