CRSolar is a one-man company owned by Chris Rath. We got 5 different estimates, but leaned towards…read moreChris because he answered all our questions. We knew little about solar at the beginning. The most important moments were a couple visits to his office to look at prices and materials. I was shocked at the differences. He also gave me permission to work along side him during the entire project, from start to finish. He is exactly the kind of person you are looking for; hard-working, funny, and honest. He would correct the slightest error. While working together we discussed everything from politics to the environment. I will never forget installing the micro-inverters on Labor Day, Sept 5, 2011. We could see smoke from four fires; Bastrop to the East, Steiner Ranch to the Southwest, Pedernales/Spicewood to the West, and Leander to the Northwest. Five stars for personality, attention to detail, and excellent prices on higher-quality materials. We salute Chris for a personalized system we will enjoy for many years. The carbon footprint for our home is now next to nothing. We create just enough power to have a monthly credit of a few dollars, or owing anywhere from just a few cents to a dollar, or two, a month. Choose CRSolar - the "shade" from the panels will keep your House, Mind, and Spirit running cool.

Chris…read morewas more than agreeable to our additional requests like having an extra conduit placed in the trench to the house and he increased the wind load rating by having more concrete in larger drilled foundation pillars. The equipment--the inverter, conduit, disconnect box--was placed on the wall of the house in a very neat, organized manner. Also, Chris walked us through the paperwork with the power transmission company and the power company. He always showed up on time, as scheduled. Then a few years later, after trouble free operation, we thought there was a problem with the inverter. We called Chris and he made an appointment for the next day to meet at the house. He determined the fuses in the breaker box out at the panels were blown and replaced them at that visit. CRSolar is a local company here to stay. We are so glad to have CRSolar to have done our installation. We highly recommend CRSolar without any reservation! Dennis and Allison T.
