Things are going to go wrong with your car. These guys always explain exactly what the problem is, give me all the options, and allow me time to call my dad to ask if a quote is fair before proceeding. I'd give them 5-stars if they offered a few of the perks my old place offered before I moved--such as pick ups and free car washes. But that was a small rural town and I lived a block away from the garage.

After a very unfortunate motor vehicle accident, my car was towed to Critchlow's site…read more It took a few days for me to get there to empty out the car. Being a busy business, my car was moved further back in the locked area and was making friends with a lot of other totaled vehicles. Thankfully, an employee offered to assist me in emptying out my car. My driver's door barely opened. The driver side rear door was too close to next vehicle to open. The passenger side was up against a fence. I don't know how the burly man squeezed between the vehicles, opened the trunk, & passed everything to me. Very thankful for their quick response to the scene and keeping my belongings safe.

Got the follow-up text message coming close to the hour they had promised that it would be ANOTHER hour long wait. Now this time was 11:35 pm. The time for them to arrive at 11:35 p.m. came and went with yet another text that they will now arrive at 12:40 am. WHERE were they towing cars from and to where? Okay...now this is a bit much when you're stranded with no place to go in the middle of the night, and with a 19 month old baby. Now considering you don't speak directly to an agent but are directed via chat that's even more frustrating! I could share the entire flurry of chats with you, but I'll just post this last one: "Your roadside request has been assigned to ADVANTAGE TOWING INC. Their technician should arrive by 2:47 AM. I will send you an update as soon as they are on their way to you." Are YOU kidding me? Middle finget to you Advantage! So, on the phone I go to contact AAA member services--why am I paying for this type of service from an incompetent towing service to NOT show up? Who does this...wait for nearly 5 hours for repeat text messages of they are NOT coming as promised. As far as I'm concerned, it is my feeling they were in a bar somewhere getting plastered and didn't want to be bothered on a Saturday night. Don't expect them to come to assist you if it's a cold winter day. Luckily for us, it was NOT cold, but comfortable waiting in our car chatting for another MORE reliable towing service to send a technician named CJ to the rescue who came and handled the problem in LESS than 10 minutes. It was a security issue under the hood but Advantage would NOT know that because THEY did not have the time! Stay away from "Advantage Towing, INC". Ask AAA who they are sending and if it's them, decline, decline, decline and have them find a more competent service sent your way. We did just that! If I could rate them with 0 stars, that is what they do deserve. But in order for me to leave a review, you apparently have to pick at least 1 star. WHERE is the "0" I really want to leave? They are HORRIBLE and not worth you taking the chance they will come when they initially say they will. Maybe they were busy towing cars from a business or an establishment where people were out having a good time only to find their car gone when they got to it, I don't know, but stay away if you value your time. I don't have pictures I want to share only the text messages that were repeatedly sent to me for the first 3 hours. Enough is ENOUGH!

My car was in the middle of the road so I did not feel like I had much choice and it has been at their lot for less than 24 hours. This was on top of them telling me explicitly to "not let Geico bully me into getting my car repaired somewhere else". They claim to be a family owned business, but it now feels more like a shakedown from a very shady company. The flatbed even dragged my tires across the ground without putting my car in neutral, seemingly to maximize damage so they could increase their profits on a 10 minute tow. I have now learned the error of trusting any tow company that shows up before the police do. Very disappointed and I will be spreading this awareness of terrible service on as many outlets as possible.
