AAA sent John from Angelo's. My car was in the garage. It wouldn't start. In less than 15 minutes, john had the car out of the garage, on the flatbed, and on its way to the shop. Communication was good. Driver arrived right on time. Driver was professional and went about things quickly. I have no complaints at all...in fact, I would use them again. read more

My car battery died and I had someone from Angelo's come out and jump my vehicle and help me replace the battery when it wasn't good. The service was through AAA but you never know who is going to be dispatched. I had 2 different drivers that had to come out and they were both SO nice. It was a rough day to begin with and my battery dying was just the cherry on top. I was by myself. Frustrated. But they truly were so helpful and kind. I would never have heard about them otherwise but going forward if I ever need assistance not through AAA I will definitely reach out to Angelo's. Thank you for your help!! read more

My car broke down on a Thursday evening, and AAA connected me with Angelo's Towing. The team was very communicative and kept me updated on the tow truck's arrival time, which I really appreciated. The driver was friendly, professional, and efficient. Overall, a smooth and reassuring experience during a stressful situation. read more

they are the worst towing company i've ever had to deal with. i had a issue issue with my car being towed request requested it to be towed to my car dealer they made me have to premises and then charged my dealership $675.00!!!!!! to get the car that i was off of them off of the lot when i it be taken to my car dealer in the first place tell i'm arguing with them about all day and they don't even have the courtesy to give me calls back read more

They were at the spot of breakdown in 10 minutes. The young man was knowledgeable, kind and understanding of our situation.

By far this was the worst experience that I have ever had with a tow truck company. This company was dispatched from AAA roadside assistance. I literally waited for 3 1/2 hours for a tow truck to come and pick up the dispatcher that says he is out of Alabama was very unprofessional young and should definitely be fired if they only knew and only could hear how he answers the phone and how unprofessional and childish this guy sounds. It is by for the worst experience read more

The tow truck never showed and the customer service representative was unprofessional.

I was driving behind an Angelo's towing flatbed tonight at about 10:40 pm on the tri Boro expressway. He was in the fast lane going a little slow so I figured he was taking a call or GPS monitored vehicle and he didn't want to be in trouble for over the speed limit, ok no problems so I passed him in the slow lane then got back in the fast lane going about my business. All of a sudden he's riding my bumper and aggressively passes me. They don't seem to be very friendly and anyone doing that in an employers vehicle shouldn't have access to a vehicle. I've never called for service with Angelo's towing but I definately won't be now if I'm having problems with my vehicle. I have to put a rating on here to be able to post but 1 star is a lie its zero stars. read more

Amazing response time. Caring. Professional and rescued off a major highway. Highly recommend. Open 24 hours I do believe as this was late in the evening. read more

I called AAA for a battery replacement and they sent Angelo's Towing. After reassuring me he had the correct battery for my car in his truck, he charged my debit card only to find out he didn't have the battery after all and neither did any other AAA truck in the area,. He left me stranded without an operable vehicle and $257 debited from my account which I won't get credited for until next week. If I could give a ZERO rating, I would! read more

One of my neighbors recently had to use this towing company through AAA after their car broke down and wouldn't start. The car was temporarily in another neighbor's driveway, and this company was called to tow it. The tow truck driver came, lifted the vehicle, and moved it to the front of the owner's house. But instead of properly securing it, the car rolled off the tow truck into my yard and hit a tree! The driver immediately blamed the car owner, saying he didn't put the car in park - but that should absolutely be the responsibility of the tow truck driver, especially when they're in control of moving the car. The driver never even came to speak with us or acknowledge the damage. He stayed on the phone the whole time, ignoring the situation. My tree now looks like it's dying, and my lawn is torn up from where the car rolled through. When the owner of the towing company finally showed up, he belittled the car owner and told him to hang up on AAA, saying they had to leave. He then casually offered the car owner "the KBB value" for his damaged car. The entire interaction was unprofessional, rushed, and disrespectful. This company is shady, careless, and clearly not qualified to be handling people's property. AAA seriously needs to reconsider partnering with them. I will also be reaching out to AAA directly to report this unacceptable experience. read more

I am a mechanic and I have never used their service, but a lot of my customers have and every time they would drop a car off it was a nightmare. Had one driver try to drop an old 65 impala ss up a hill. Yes up a hill. One of the longest vehicles possible and was surprised on how it got stuck. If anyone was wondering gravity doesn't work up hill. Every other time they would drop a car off in our lot they'd drop It In the middle and have the other drop offs blocked or no room in the lot to park cars. Or just in the middle of the street. As a mechanic I try to protect my customers cars from damage but I can't do that when they drop a car in the middle of the street overnight and it gets blasted by someone driving. And yes that happened too. read more

Minus 100. Beyond terrible. We broke down on Monday , April 28th at noon in Edgewood , Pa. I contacted AAA and they sent Angelos Towing to tow us back to Ohio. The first driver showed up in 20 minutes and waited as I cleared the parking space in front of my van so he could back the truck in. he drove by , said he was turning around .......and disapeared. GONE I waited four more hours, called his number four times and was sent to voicemail. I then called the office and the girl told me that she had NO IDEA where the driver went and didnot understand how he just left me there for 4 hours. THen she said she contacted him and he would be there in 20 minutes. BULLSHIT ... Never happened . So after waiting another 45 minutes I contacted AAA , who then called Angelos again .... and finally a different driver showed up and towed us to Ohio. Terrible service with no regard for the customer . We were charged 428.00 for the tow , which we should not have to pay. Triple AAA don't use this company anymore . LIE AFTER LIE A nd I want a refund . I am just getting started read more

Terrible! I requested a tow through triple A and Angelos was due to be at my house at 3:32 to tow me to my appointment at 4 to get a tire replaced. I called triple A to check on the tow at 340 and told me that Angelos was there and I have no tags/ expired No one from Angelos called me to say they were in route, at the residence, nothing. If I could give them a 0, I would. The driver was extremely rude when I tried to tell him that I would move my car because I thought my car was in the way. I live at 3033 Elliiott Street, and I cannot believe how he treated me. He was I was "distracting him" but he KEPT TALKING SMACK! I finally asked him to stop talking, but he continued. I would NEVER recommend them. All I tried to do was to help him and he waved me off like I was a problem. I asked him for the owners name and he said he was the owner. I dialed the number and he answered! I hope he wasn't Angelo because he will have no business with his demeanor. He was rude, mean, the worse person I think I've ever met. He needs to go. Called AAA for assistance at 10:50am at 11:30 Angelo's called and said they would be there at 12:15, at 12:25 I called to get an ETA and they told me 2pm, i told the person (and supervisor) that it's not what I was told that I was on speaker and there were several people there who heard the conversation I realize they may be busy but dont say one thing when you really mean another then lie about it. They seem to be the only ones that AAA uses in my neighborhood. Sometimes they are excellent and sometimes they come and do nothing. It depends a lot on who you get and what mood the person is in. And once again I have to give this place zero stars if I could. While driving to work this morning, a tow truck from Angelo's pulled out just behind me and cut off a school bus. He then proceeded to tailgate me until we got on the Triboro expressway, where he abruptly passed me and sped off down the road, approximately 70 miles per hour or better. These drivers are a menace on the road. The owner should be ashamed of himself for allowing such large vehicles to be driven recklessly. Do not use this company for this reason only. I have no experience if they are even capable of towing a vehicle. read more

This company is a AAA provider. My car battery died, I needed a jump 12-31-2022. Angelo's staff person informed me there is a 6 hours wait time. I waited 7 hours no communication I tried calling back, no answer. I called AAA, Angelos staff had removed my request from their system. I have NEVER had good service from staff for this Comp. I spoke with the owner previously. He was very apologetic, however his staff sucks. read more

I couldn't wait to write a review for this organization. I plan on writing a letter as well. I am a AAA customer and they sent Angelo's Towing to my aid. I was blessed and very highly favored to get Jay as the driver and employee of this company. Let me say that from the moment I met Jay and watched his proficiency in taking care of towing my vehicle to his handsome smile and cherry disposition, I thought, I'm so happy I met him. You meet all kinds of people, but Jay did his job and to me seemed to go beyond just trying to assure me that he would take care of the towing of my car, which he did. I rode with him to Goodyear where the car was being towed. I was in the best hands with Jay and hope that if I ever need help, he is the person that is sent to my rescue. God bless Jay and he apparently works for an outstanding and professional company and I hope whomever reads my review will know that this is one of the best towing company that's I've ever had!! G. It is typically not a fun experience when you have to use a tow service but I was really impressed with Angelo's towing! A family members car wouldn't go into gear and after some failed attempts at pushing, we decided to call for a tow truck. Chris showed up quickly and he was quick and very kind. I would highly recommend Angelo's towing, great customer service! read more

I own a building that has 2 business's located at the address, mine and auto mechanic. The driver who towed the car in unhooked it in front of my office without confirming if that's where I wanted it ( non running ). If he would have done so it would have saved him a lot of aggravation but he decided to be a knuckle head about it, his reply was " I do this shit all day and I really don't care ", which was quite obvious and kindly told him to get off my property ( sarcasm ) . The driver was extremely rude and unprofessional (because he doesn't care about his job) read more

Worst Customer service ever, driver was rude and unprofessional.

Car battery died this morning and Cody the technician got here super quickly and did everything he could to jump start it since it was really dead from what it seemed like, and managed to start it in no time! Arrived about an hr after I called - which was fine since my car was at my home. I would like to say how pleased I was with my service today. It's freezing outside and Jay was so kind!!!! For a young guy, it's such a pleasure to deal with someone who isn't complaining- EVEN THOUGH IT'S FREEZING COLD and he has been out all morning dealing with issues. This kid was great. I am really pleased. I needed a tow from my home, he didn't complain about anything- he thought he was just changing a flat, but was actually doing a tow. He said "that's no problem". My AAA class was incorrect and he looked at my card and said "no problem". Thank you Jay. read more

Service was VERY slow in getting there, the technician was very inept @ changing a tire.. The spare was complicated in getting it out, but the actual tire change reminded me of when my grandpa made me change my first tire when I 15. The technician also needed a belt read more

Car broke down down. It's a manual transmission. I asked my insurance company what they needed and didn't get a reply. I left my car in neutral with the emergency brake on and the wheels strait. Went a thousand steps above and beyond to help me out during a terrible life experience. Thank you!

I call AAA for service on Fri evening and driver took 1 1/2hrs then he checks my information and says I am a classic member and I would have to pay before he load my truck on flat bed ,I told him I am a plus member and it says plus on my card so he gets back in his flat bed and drives off and leaves me and Hummer H2 sitting in lot so by this time it's about 12:30 to1:00 so I had to leave my truck and call Uber for ride home come back next day and recall AAA to get H2 home . Driver tried to RIP me off my location was only 5 miles away even if I was a classic member I was due at least 3miles that I didn't get and I would only had to pay for 2 miles . Funny driver that dont care about owners reputation should be fired. Oh yea when I called next day I didn't have to pay a dime and they said I am a plus member. read more

Do not trust this business!!!! I called AAA on December 2, 2018 because I locked my keys in my car. My car is a Subaru Outback 2018. AAA sent someone from Angelo's towing. The person from Angelo's arrived within an hour. The man was friendly and polite but he had trouble opening the door. Without writing all the details, I now have a car that sounds like the door is open when I drive it. I have talked to managers at the business that say they will pay to have it fixed but I'm still waiting. They were to call me after January 1st but I haven't heard from them. I called and the voicemail was full. I'm still hoping this will be resolved. read more

My car broke down on the interstate. Called AAA, they dispatched Angelo's Towing. Tow truck showed up 25 minutes later. So far, so good. Tow truck driver shook my hand, took my info, lowered the bed of the truck, and got a phone call from his boss. Tow truck man talks to boss, hangs up, apologizes, hands me my stuff back, pulls up the bed, and left. He left. He just left. He left me on the interstate, in a broken down car, in the hot August sun, with traffic whizzing by my door. No explanation, nothing. Just gone. Another tow truck shows up 2 hours later and tows me home. Thanks for nothing. read more

My experience with Angelo's was sub-par at best. I called at 6:40 AM to arrange a tow to a dealership. The guy told me his driver's didn't arrive till 7:00 and that he would set something up for 7:30. He also quoted me a price. When the driver hadn't arrived by 8:10, I called back to see if they were still coming. I was put on hold for about 10 minutes and then told that the original guy had misquoted my price (fine, it seemed REALLY cheap) but that they'd still do it for the price they quoted, and that it would be another hour. I agreed. At 9:00 I got a call from the same guy who told me they were "really slammed" since "they take AAA calls and that's their priority" and that he could have someone out to me by noon. I told him to forget it and called another company. I'm sure they're fine if you have AAA, or if you get a dispatcher who knows what he's doing (I would've paid full price!), but my experience was pretty terrible. I would not recommend calling Angelo's if you are just a poor sap without AAA. read more
