I was driving behind an Angelo's towing flatbed tonight at about 10:40 pm on the tri Boro expressway. He was in the fast lane going a little slow so I figured he was taking a call or GPS monitored vehicle and he didn't want to be in trouble for over the speed limit, ok no problems so I passed him in the slow lane then got back in the fast lane going about my business. All of a sudden he's riding my bumper and aggressively passes me. They don't seem to be very friendly and anyone doing that in an employers vehicle shouldn't have access to a vehicle. I've never called for service with Angelo's towing but I definately won't be now if I'm having problems with my vehicle. After reassuring me he had the correct battery for my car in his truck, he charged my debit card only to find out he didn't have the battery after all and neither did any other AAA truck in the area,. One of my neighbors recently had to use this towing company through AAA after their car broke down and wouldn't start. The car was temporarily in another neighbor's driveway, and this company was called to tow it. The tow truck driver came, lifted the vehicle, and moved it to the front of the owner's house. But instead of properly securing it, the car rolled off the tow truck into my yard and hit a tree! The driver immediately blamed the car owner, saying he didn't put the car in park - but that should absolutely be the responsibility of the tow truck driver, especially when they're in control of moving the car. The driver never even came to speak with us or acknowledge the damage. He stayed on the phone the whole time, ignoring the situation. My tree now looks like it's dying, and my lawn is torn up from where the car rolled through. When the owner of the towing company finally showed up, he belittled the car owner and told him to hang up on AAA, saying they had to leave. He then casually offered the car owner "the KBB value" for his damaged car. The entire interaction was unprofessional, rushed, and disrespectful. This company is shady, careless, and clearly not qualified to be handling people's property. AAA seriously needs to reconsider partnering with them. I am a mechanic and I have never used their service, but a lot of my customers have and every time they would drop a car off it was a nightmare. Had one driver try to drop an old 65 impala ss up a hill. Yes up a hill. One of the longest vehicles possible and was surprised on how it got stuck. If anyone was wondering gravity doesn't work up hill. Every other time they would drop a car off in our lot they'd drop It In the middle and have the other drop offs blocked or no room in the lot to park cars. Or just in the middle of the street. As a mechanic I try to protect my customers cars from damage but I can't do that when they drop a car in the middle of the street overnight and it gets blasted by someone driving. Minus 100. Beyond terrible. We broke down on Monday , April 28th at noon in Edgewood , Pa. I contacted AAA and they sent Angelos Towing to tow us back to Ohio. The first driver showed up in 20 minutes and waited as I cleared the parking space in front of my van so he could back the truck in. he drove by , said he was turning around .......and disapeared. GONE I waited four more hours, called his number four times and was sent to voicemail. I then called the office and the girl told me that she had NO IDEA where the driver went and didnot understand how he just left me there for 4 hours. THen she said she contacted him and he would be there in 20 minutes. BULLSHIT ... Never happened . So after waiting another 45 minutes I contacted AAA , who then called Angelos again .... and finally a different driver showed up and towed us to Ohio. Terrible service with no regard for the customer . We were charged 428.00 for the tow , which we should not have to pay. Triple AAA don't use this company anymore . Terrible! I requested a tow through triple A and Angelos was due to be at my house at 3:32 to tow me to my appointment at 4 to get a tire replaced. I called triple A to check on the tow at 340 and told me that Angelos was there and I have no tags/ expired No one from Angelos called me to say they were in route, at the residence, nothing. I live at 3033 Elliiott Street, and I cannot believe how he treated me. He was I was "distracting him" but he KEPT TALKING SMACK! I finally asked him to stop talking, but he continued. Called AAA for assistance at 10:50am at 11:30 Angelo's called and said they would be there at 12:15, at 12:25 I called to get an ETA and they told me 2pm, i told the person (and supervisor) that it's not what I was told that I was on speaker and there were several people there who heard the conversation I realize they may be busy but dont say one thing when you really mean another then lie about it. They seem to be the only ones that AAA uses in my neighborhood. Sometimes they are excellent and sometimes they come and do nothing. It depends a lot on who you get and what mood the person is in. And once again I have to give this place zero stars if I could. While driving to work this morning, a tow truck from Angelo's pulled out just behind me and cut off a school bus. He then proceeded to tailgate me until we got on the Triboro expressway, where he abruptly passed me and sped off down the road, approximately 70 miles per hour or better. These drivers are a menace on the road. The owner should be ashamed of himself for allowing such large vehicles to be driven recklessly. Do not use this company for this reason only. This company is a AAA provider. My car battery died, I needed a jump 12-31-2022. Angelo's staff person informed me there is a 6 hours wait time. I waited 7 hours no communication I tried calling back, no answer. I called AAA, Angelos staff had removed my request from their system. I have NEVER had good service from staff for this Comp. Booked through AAA. Was told within 45 minutes by AAA. After 1.5 hours I called and was told after the driver completes another tow in Pittsburgh. I was at least 30-45 minutes from Pittsburgh surrounding area! I called a local tow company and they came within 20 minutes! Hey Angelo's towing....don't accept the job if you don't have a driver!!!! I was blessed and very highly favored to get Jay as the driver and employee of this company. Let me say that from the moment I met Jay and watched his proficiency in taking care of towing my vehicle to his handsome smile and cherry disposition, I thought, I'm so happy I met him. You meet all kinds of people, but Jay did his job and to me seemed to go beyond just trying to assure me that he would take care of the towing of my car, which he did. I rode with him to Goodyear where the car was being towed. I was in the best hands with Jay and hope that if I ever need help, he is the person that is sent to my rescue. I own a building that has 2 business's located at the address, mine and auto mechanic. The driver who towed the car in unhooked it in front of my office without confirming if that's where I wanted it ( non running ). I call AAA for service on Fri evening and driver took 1 1/2hrs then he checks my information and says I am a classic member and I would have to pay before he load my truck on flat bed ,I told him I am a plus member and it says plus on my card so he gets back in his flat bed and drives off and leaves me and Hummer H2 sitting in lot so by this time it's about 12:30 to1:00 so I had to leave my truck and call Uber for ride home come back next day and recall AAA to get H2 home . Driver tried to RIP me off my location was only 5 miles away even if I was a classic member I was due at least 3miles that I didn't get and I would only had to pay for 2 miles . Do not trust this business!!!! I called AAA on December 2, 2018 because I locked my keys in my car. My car is a Subaru Outback 2018. AAA sent someone from Angelo's towing. The person from Angelo's arrived within an hour. The man was friendly and polite but he had trouble opening the door. Without writing all the details, I now have a car that sounds like the door is open when I drive it. I have talked to managers at the business that say they will pay to have it fixed but I'm still waiting. They were to call me after January 1st but I haven't heard from them. Tow truck driver shook my hand, took my info, lowered the bed of the truck, and got a phone call from his boss. My experience with Angelo's was sub-par at best. I called at 6:40 AM to arrange a tow to a dealership. The guy told me his driver's didn't arrive till 7:00 and that he would set something up for 7:30. He also quoted me a price. When the driver hadn't arrived by 8:10, I called back to see if they were still coming. I was put on hold for about 10 minutes and then told that the original guy had misquoted my price (fine, it seemed REALLY cheap) but that they'd still do it for the price they quoted, and that it would be another hour. I agreed. At 9:00 I got a call from the same guy who told me they were "really slammed" since "they take AAA calls and that's their priority" and that he could have someone out to me by noon. I told him to forget it and called another company. I'm sure they're fine if you have AAA, or if you get a dispatcher who knows what he's doing (I would've paid full price!), but my experience was pretty terrible. I would not recommend calling Angelo's if you are just a poor sap without AAA. read more

My car, a 2019 Outback with 2,000 miles and only 9 months old, would not start due to a dead battery. I called AAA and they sent Angelo's Towing Service. I was told that the battery was shot and that i needed to replace it immediately or I would be stuck if I tried to use it. Since it was under warranty I took it back to the dealership. they confirmed that the tow truck driver tried to convince me to buy a new battery when my battery was like new. All I needed to do was drive the car to recharge the battery. Be careful with this service. read more

This is the worst experience I've ever had with a tow company. The tow driver ripped off my bumber, tried to blame me. Then Haji the owner was rude, yelling, and bullying me into funding the whole thing myself. He tried to send me to his friends personal residential home to fix my car. He was terrible at communicating. I don't think they should own a business. He told me I'm an idiot if I send it to my insurance. He told me to pay out of pocket He said he'd pay me back. When I said I already made a claim he said he wouldn't pay a dime to the insurance. The staff at body by Cochran said they have had multiple problems with this company.
