As I tried to get the spare tire on, the car rolled off the jack and slammed on the ground (yikes)! I was in a rush and needed help fast because I couldn't get the jack back under the car. So I called Tom, who happened to be the first Google result for a tow. He was literally just down the road and got to me within less than 10 minutes of calling. He knew exactly what to do. He used his MUCH BETTER jack to get my car up and put the spare tire on in maybe 1-2 minutes. I was back on the road and was still EARLY to my appointment. He saved me a world of headache and I could not be more appreciative. I'm keeping his card in my glove box and calling him if anything ever happens again!

I called back an hour later and was told 20 minutes. 20 minutes later I called the provider (K&K) and the guy told me 15 minutes and that the insurance dispatcher knows nothing. 20 more minutes and still nothing. I called insurance again to file an incident report and request a new provider. The insurance dispatcher said K&K wasn't even answering their phone. Update! Dude finally came, 2.5 hours after the call and after I'd cancelled -- probably because his dispatcher wasn't answering the phone. Yes, he did change my tire, but he was also the sort of guy who feels the need to offer his opinion that I pay too much for my tires and that everyone who works on my car does it wrong as he showed me various things that he feels indicate that every mechanic I've gone to is causing the destruction of my vehicle. This is probably why it took so long, if he is doing this for every call. I really don't like it when service providers try to make me feel stupid, and don't understand what he thinks he is going to get out of doing so.
